Me and my 8 year old son had a very warm welcome from Olive at Cullentra House on the 9th August 2021, on arrival she made us a lovely cup of tea/juice and cake.

The breakfast was “out of this world” Olive went “over and above” with the fantastic breakfast she offered us, each morning she made us a complimentary homemade smoothie and granola with fruit and yoghurt for us as an extra too, the Ulster fry was delicious. She had made fresh homemade scones each morning, these were beautiful and I was able to take one home with me and she give my son treats as well and he was delighted.

The rooms were lovely, and the beds were so comfortable and it was great that there was free WiFi, the computerised shower/steam room was amazing so powerful.

Overall we had a fantastic stay, I would highly recommend this guesthouse to families and couples, it’s set in such beautiful surroundings and is nearby to a range of local attractions.

Thank you so much Olive and James for your kindness and hospitality, we felt very welcome, we will definitely be back again.

What a beautiful little gem, not far out from town of Cushendall, Olive and James are such lovely people. The b&b is spotless and so comfortable and also a beautiful location, we were a family of 9 staying and it felt like home from home. The hospitality from Olive on arrival was just amazing, we were early and offered us tea coffee and to but our bags in rooms! The breakfasts were fantastic and a great choice, homemade scones, well we got some to take back home, excellent stay, lovely people and beautiful location, would definitely recommend! Which we have already to other friends and family ! See you again!

Olive and her husband are just amazing hosts, so friendly and attentive to their guests needs. Where do I start.... From the moment we arrived we were offered tea/coffee and fresh homade treats. The room was just beautiful, they even have a we fridge with treats in it (additional cost) if you wanted a snack or drink throughout your stay. So much space and so clean! Well then then breakfast.... What can I say?! Absolutely scrumptious, fresh smoothies, fresh coffee, olives homemade scones and wheaten bread then LOADS of hot food to choose from. Location is breathtaking and so many beautiful places to eat and visit close by!!! Thank you to you both for a wonderful and pleasent stay. We will be back

My wife daughter and myself stayed here last night and were blown away how well we were treated by the hosts James and Olive. The B&B is certainly the best we've stayed in. The family room was spacious and beds v comfortable. The place is perfectly situated just outside of Cushendall with unbelievable scenery on your doorsteps. The breakfast was unreal with Olive also treating us to some of her homemade Wheaton bread and delicious scones. Olive even gave us a beautiful homemade cake to take home with us. Anyone thinking of heading up for a stay in this area I'd 100% recommend booking Cullentra House.

Simply the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at! Our family cannot recommend Cullentra House highly enough. Olive and James were wonderful hosts with personalities you would never forget! They gave us lifts to and from our wedding venue and Olive was extremely understanding and helpful with my disabled mum. The rooms and facilities are of the highest standard with quality bedding, decor, furniture and ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast was superb and came with unexpected added extras including a delicious breakfast smoothie and a fresh fruit muesli all presented in exquisite dishes and dainty cups. The cinnamon french toast was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The view was breath taking and after our 5 star breakfast we took the scenic route to Torr Head which was jaw dropping and we ended our day with Mortons fish n chips in Ballycastle. We are still talking about Cullentra House, and feel we have made friends with Olive and James as the craic was mighty!!

From the minute we called to enquire, Olive and James were model hosts.

We were visiting the Cullentra for one night as part of a cycling holiday around Northern Ireland and so arrived weary after a long day’s ride. Greeted on arrival with the most delicious home made cake and a pot of tea, our stay was off to a great start. We were offered a lift to and from the centre of town for dinner and they were more than happy to help us out with bike storage.

The room was clean and cosy, yet spacious, with all the amenities you could ask for plus some - shower rooms are fully stocked along with plush towels so need to bring your own.

Breakfast in the morning was delicious and again featured home-baked treats, followed by a cooked breakfast to order. Worth noting the view from breakfast is something from a fairytale.

Overall I can comfortable say this is the best B&B I’ve visited and can’t recommend highly enough. They could have charged us double and we’d still be getting value for money.

From the moment we arrived at this immaculately kept home we were made to feel welcome and at ease . Given Covid restrictions on tea making facilities in bedroom we were provided with tea and lovely home made scones and cake which we enjoyed in the garden where we admired the breathtaking view of the glens and the sea. The room was pristine and had everything required for our two night stay . It was an added bonus that the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided . Pre-ordered breakfast was superb , piping hot and freshly cooked to our exact specification . This was accompanied by freshly baked wheaten bread, scones and cakes . There were little extras provided to our delight all served in delectable tableware . Our hosts James and Olive were very welcoming and we felt relaxed and well taken care of . James was a fountain of local knowledge which helped us explore this beautiful part of the country . Olive works so hard and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible . All Covid safety measures were in place helping us feel safe . By far this was the best B&B I have ever stayed in with attention to detail and cleanliness . A true home from home experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend . Thank you Olive and James .

We stayed here for one night we were welcomed and taken to our room. It was small but cute. Next day breakfast was amazing and the tables were set really pretty. Hosts both were nice. When we departed we were putting our suitcases in the car and we saw the host in our room taking off the sheets and airing out the room. Well she could have waited till we actually left the property.

Many thanks for the lovely comments. Pity you finished it off with a point of concern to yourself. As you had already booked out and left the premises it was my duty to ensure at a time of Covid that the room was properly aired, cleaned and sanitised in preparation for the next guests. It is important to allow maximum time for this process between guests leaving and new guests arriving and I make no apology for this.

Olive is such a peach! She greets you at the door with a smile and a giggle, and quickly gets you settled and comfortable. The furnishings are fabulous (especially when compared with the lower end place we had just come from in Derry), and the room is big and comfortable. The bed was super comfy and the sheets and towels are of such high quality. The table set at breakfast was a treat, both to the eyes, as well as for taste. Value received was fantastic. We were really wishing we had booked more than just one night in this beautiful corner of Northern Ireland.
