Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly check in process. Went for the spa usage for £20 which I recommend. Great value for the price. Nice big jaccuzi pool, steam room and sauna both a good experience. All very clean and in working order. Dinner I had the wings and chips. Not bad. Nothing to write home about. Breakfast was buffet style with most items you’d expect. Staff didn’t seem overly pleased to be there but it was early. Quiet room, well presented.

My hubby and I had a wonderful first stay on Saturday at this beautiful hotel. They are currently undergoing renovations during the week. We were gifted 2 lovely and fresh baked cookies upon arrival/check in. We were lucky enough to get one of their newly renovated rooms on the 3rd floor which was lovely and spacious with a comfy king size bed and lovely shower. We enjoyed our beautiful dinner in The Dormy restaurant and had a lovely chilled night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you for a nice stay.

I would not recommend staying here. I stayed to work for two nights and during the day on 7th February. The hotel reception knew that I wanted a quiet space but my room was in a building site with incessant drilling noise starting at 8.15am and continuing throughout the day. My attempt to raise the matter with reception in mid afternoon met with no solution and little sense of understanding. Not good enough. I am considering making a claim for noise pollution. It's a shame as the hotel has a few things going for it, but has failed abysmally during this stay.

An amazing stay at the Hilton Templepatrick. Spotless, food amazing and the thermal spa was like a warm hug! Beautiful! We had drinks in the bar after dinner and the cocktails were lovely. There was a lady singing at the bar who provided great entertainment. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will be back!

Superb family stay at the rebranded/refurbished Kingfisher Hotel. The refurbished rooms are finished to a high standard and we were lucky to get a view over the golf course. Lobby/bar area at ground floor is excellent and nice place to relax. Ate at the Dormy. Again, excellent. Will definitely stay again.

We have stayed here where in Belfast over the last 5/6 years. Great facilities, close to the city with free parking. Lovely walks around Templepatrick. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant is excellent. The staff are amazing and the reason we return.

Well this place is nearly finished its refurbishment, but at 0800Hrs in the morning the boys start banging away - so no sleep ins at the moment. However, the refurbishment so far is very good, it is clear to see several hundreds of thousands have been spent on the hotel, but not before time. The refurbished bar is far more welcoming and a much better layout. The rooms we stayed in were fantastic in terms of refurbishment - excellent job done The restaurant in terms of food offering has improved immensely, restaurant were brilliant, but then again the hotel has always had pretty good staff. There is a renewed feel about the hotel and it is as it has always been a very welcoming hotel Breakfast in fantastic, very good indeed - one of the better breakfasts I have experienced lately. The only downside, is there really isn't any great advantage in being a Diamond guest you really just get the bare minimum, brekky and if you are lucky a room upgrade (I was lucky). You get a way better deal down at the Hilton Belfast and there is not that much price difference. Hilton Templepatrick is somewhat in the 'sticks' but very handy for the airport, Hilton Belfast right in the middle of the city centre

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Hilton Templepatrick. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely receptionist called Naomi, she was very helpful, friendly and informative. Our deluxe double room hadn’t been refurbished yet but the room was very clean, warm and comfortable, we slept well and had everything we needed, toiletries, iron and ironing board and robes and slippers. No complaints at all. We ate dinner in the restaurant on site called “ The Dormy” food was very tasty and well cooked and we liked the ambience of the restaurant and we were well spaced out. We listened to a girl singing and playing the piano in the bar for a while which we enjoyed Breakfast the next morning again no complaints, it was self service , well cooked tasty food and a lot of friendly helpful staff on hand to tend to our every need. All in all a very pleasant stay, unfortunately we didn’t get to use the new spa facilities as we didn’t have time but a good excuse to visit again. Just exactly the way a hotel should be, we have left feeling relaxed and de stressed ready for a week of work!
