Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is within walking distance to Merignac airport, which is really handy if you're arriving late at night, or departing early in the morning. Despite the website saying reception wouldn't be open past 9, there was still someone where when I arrived at 2330. You're allocated a numeric code which gives you access to your bedroom. Bathroom facilities are shared, the toilet cubicle is automatically sluiced after you flush it which is interesting.
There's a kitchen downstairs for guests to use and a vending machine.
Free wifi, satellite TV.
Word of warning - was very difficult to find a hotel in the area that was serving food in the evening on my last night. I ended up walking to the Mercure nearby, but they were just serving their room service menu. However, on arriving back to the F1, I saw that they had take away menus which presumably did delivery - probably a better option!

A nice welcome for a late night check in. Clean hotel and room with two towels. The bed is OK. Stiff but OK. Shared bathroom. Gets a little noisy early in the morning. Don't expect any luxury for that kind of price.

They say " you get what you pay " but in this hotel you get much more : perfect beds, perfect aircon, located very near the busstops to the airport and Bordeaux where you can find also the very cosy pub " au bureau " where you can eat and drink if you don't bring your own stuff.
Friendly staff and good toilets and showers to share, every thing works perfect !
I' m sure i come back that place again.

It is a fairly cheap hotel and the bedroom is reasonably clean. However, the WC is kind of dirty and the TV and Internet dont work properly. Also, Beginning at about midnight, we could hear a symphony of opening and smashing doors with only brief intervals. If you value your sleep and have trouble sleeping in a noisy environment it is highly not recommended.

I stayed here as I arrived at the airport and had a day to kill before heading off so wanted something cheap and clean to sleep. It is not glamorous but it is clean and for the money you cannot fault it. It cost me only £20 on the internet! There is room for three people in the room (double and a single), it has a TV and sink and you share the toilets and showers. Both of which are a bit utilitarian but again for the price. The bed was comfortable.

Only thing to be aware of is that the towels given are really hand towels so you really need your own as walking to the shower down the corridor requires a bit more covering up.

As a place to put your head down for the night before pushing on its is great. You will not want to spend a holiday here but it does the job for a night.

Unfortunately it's closed recently but i don't know the reason why.I saw it on the website of them. I was there between 19 th and June 21. It's a pitty because it was good and cheap and near the airport.
