This was a last minute booking where we missed a flight (never under estimate the traffic issues in Bordeaux!).
We needed 2 last minute rooms and found this reasonably priced hotel. Photos looked good and actually the rooms themselves in terms of comfort and facilities are good.
If you are looking for any more than a room well then this is where the hotel falls a little short. They offer a buffet evening meal for 22 euros which did not look appetising for the money so we ended up walking around the corner to A lovely Italian. We came back about 10pm wanting a drink at the bar and it was all shut up except for a small area with a couple of seats. We had a drink but the salsa music playing, probably the choice of the lady working at the time, was just too much for us to enjoy a quiet drink.
Another thing to note about this hotel is the noise of vehicles - as it’s like a motel, cars are parked directly outside of your room so when they leave it gets rather loud, and in general the road noise is loud.
In summary though, the room served a purpose and was reasonably priced but would never be a hotel of choice for a repeat visit to Bordeaux.

This Kyriad hotel has very good transport connections being only 2minutes away from a tram stop on the Tram A route between the airport (7minutes away) & the city centre (25minutes away). The hotel staff (receptionist/barman/waitress) were all very friendly. We had very tasty breakfasts which were available for 5hours - this included cereals, croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurts, toast, juices, tea, coffee and cooked bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. The bar had a decent range of alcoholic and soft drinks available at reasonable prices. Our room was very quiet and featured a comfortable double bed, tv, free Wi-Fi, kettle, tea and coffee, air-conditioning and a good sized bathroom with a powerful overhead shower. The only negative was that we had to go reception every evening as our ‘electronic key’ would not work to get it re-charged. Otherwise, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a great budget hotel if you’re visiting the wonderful city of Bordeaux.

This was a good last night in France. Its proximity to the airport made it ideal for a flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and the room very comfortable. The lobby was a nice place for a glass of wine before dinner.

Yes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit.
Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile.
They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful.
Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux.
It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

Stop over point on route to Spain after a long drive from London.
We arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. However when we got to the room we discovered that despite having an air con unit in the room there was no remote/controls to operate it. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem but when the temperature outside was over 30 degrees at 9pm, and there were no real windows to open, it was a problem.
We enquired at reception to be told that due to renovation work taking place the next week they had removed the remotes and we couldn't have one. I could not believe this, why have rooms without air con in such heat.
As you can imagine the heat meant it was an awful night, very uncomfortable and too hot.
I would never stay again based on the poor experience as I could never trust this hotel to have everything working when selling rooms.

This is actually a motel and doesn't look particularly welcoming from outside, however the rooms were fine, if a little compact. It is in an ideal location for anyone driving back to the UK from Spain being just off the Bordeaux ring road and reasonably priced. Not much happening round and about but there was a very good pizzeria located just across the road.

This hotel looks pretty average from the outside but inside the rooms are clean, comfortable and have wonderfully large and modern bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay and had a great nights sleep and a nice hot shower - what else do you need?

It was a disaster stay. The room was filthy. The bathroom even more. There was excrement smeared on the bathroom wall. The towels had black stains on them. There was an AC but no way to turn it on. The window was broken so we had mosquitos bite us. One of us is allergic to mosquito bites and has swellings on his arms the size of golf balls. The shower head was so caked in limescale that it gushed water in all directions but on me. All in all this was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The price is no excuse for the dirty room. I've stayed in cheaper hotels (ibis styles) thst were cleaner.

Pros: Actually, it was a motel but VERY good one. This motel was above head and shoulders of any *** stars hotel I ever stayed. The breakfast was also very decent. And staff spoke English very well. Cons: It was a little noisy because my room was next to stars.
