Our flight was cancelled so we booked this hotel close to the airport.
Reception and bar are bright and airy. Room was functional and clean. Would only want to stay here for one night. Our room was on first floor. The 2nd floor smelt damp and so did the bedroom.
The breakfast is included continental coffee from a machine is drinkable.
There is a courtesy bus to the airport which was welcomed after paying €20 for a 5 minute taxi ride the night before.

We had a late night flight into Bordeaux and this hotel was ideally located. Rooms where comfortable enough. I have to say that the customer service however was exceptional when we were on our return leg of our journey. The hotel were incredibly accommodating in holding our bags for a few hour when there were no facilities available at the airport and to add to the top class service we arrived at the hotel covered in sick as my son had vomited in the car and they kindly provided products for us to clean the hire car before retuning. Thank you so much again.

Took our taxi a while to locate the entrance as the whole area is one big buidling site due to the extension of the tram network from the city. Easy and friendly check in. Transfer booked for 7:30 next morning, good to see the transfer bus is electric, well done. Room ok, we had number 14, which had 2 rooms, my daughter and granddaughter had the bedroom with the shower, whilst I got the sofa bed and the toilet. Nice aircon, especially as 40 outside, room needs a bit of a touch up, wall behind curtain. The door in the corridor also needs work as the handle came off, later we noticed the door was "wedged" open, obviously been reported. Room was comfortable, beds were ok (would not have liked to sleep here for more than one night, but adequate comfort), great to have 2 TV's, means I can watch adult content. We ate in the restuarant, , 2 set menus, 22€ plus ½ bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, 12€. Starters, I had tartine, was really nice and daughter had prawns and avocado, my main was plat de jour, which was duck, daughter had the fish, both excellent, 56€, £48.13. Good portion size, well coked and friendly staff. Breakfast was adequate (included in room). Transfer was 10 minutes, much appreciated.

Terrible. We’ve often stayed at other hotels nearby. Zenitude or the Campanile with good satisfaction. We thought we’d try ibis styles for a change. How wrong we were.
The place has NO style whatsoever and the atrium bar area was as welcoming as a closed Brico Depot.
People choose a hotel to sleep (mostly), so why do you put cheap nasty plastic bag type mattress liners under thin cotton sheets?
These make you sweat terribly and are so unpleasant that you try to sleep on top of the duvet instead. The heating / AC is as noisy as a steam train, so you turn it off and the sweat freezes! Net result? You don’t sleep and end up with a cold!
No way to start the next day. The breakfast was pretty good, but that was the only good thing.

Come on IBIS you need to spend some money at this hotel. and on staff.
We stayed for one night nefore an early flight. Checked in and I had already read the reviews and one stuck in my mind about room 208 from February this year.
The unfriendly receptionist allocated me room 208. I said to her "Oh no, I hope you've cleaned it up since it's bad review.". The curt reply was there was nothing wrong with the room.
We got in the lift which was "tired" at best. Got out on the 2nd floor to see loads of sheets and some trays on the floor outside rooms but the carpet you could see was stained and dirty looking along with the walls.
Room 208 lived up to it's reputation from 02/24, smelt, filthy carpet so back to reception.
Got offered another room, 210. Same thing, stained carpet, chipped paintwork really tired looking.
Back to reception and saw the room manager. I asked if he would refund us as I found two rooms dirty, the whole hotel looked tired and I wanted to go to the Mercure just up the road. A firm "NO refunds" was the reply even though I wanted to go to another hotel within the group. He told me they had 4 rooms that had been refurbished and that he would find me a solution.
3rd try was slightly better, clean, newer carpet and no smell of damp. Only a bit of paint missing off walls, The door locks had been changed, however the previous holes in the wall and door had not been filled and painted. Missing mastic round the bath, mirror old at the bottom and silvering was missing. Skirting board not finished properly. The toilet cistern cover was cracked and had a burn from a cigarette that had been left on it. The inside of the bathroom door needed painting. Could hear the planes. Fed up now we decided to stay as no refund was possible.
I went to the bar and was served by a really nice friendly receptionist, however the seats were uncomfortable and the bar stools.
Breakfast was ok but that too looked grubby, only two tables had not been used and it took the guy 25 minutes before he wiped them all down with the same cloth. None of the staff said hello as they passed you by.
The ouside looked well kept apart from the cigarette ashtray just outside the entrance which didn't look as if it had been emptied in a month or two.
The whole place needs cleaning up, refurbishing and most of the staff training in how to treat gusets.
Shame it's in a great location.

Room not cleaned properly, items from the previous guests and rubbish left underneath the bed. Clearly not been cleaned properly during these covid-19 times. €100 for 4 microwaved food pots from the bar for 4 people. Worn furniture with worrying staines both on furniture and the carpets. Dogs wandering around the hotel! I cannot believe that this place is allowed to operate lawfully during these times. Better choose elsewhere!!!!! This is the final straw because every Accor hotel we have stayed in so far has been extremely disappointing.

2 bedrooms that were booked 3 months in advance: the air conditioning was not working nor the elevator. But worse....our room had only a window that was fronting the patio and not the exterior....In consequence, no air...In addition the rooms need a complete refurnish, as the hotel is falling apart !
Finally, my neighbour was smoking and I could smell it in the room. In consequence, I went to sleep in my car !! The only positive thing was the breakfast.
My previous stay with Ibis Style in Cavaillon was perfect but this one was a catastrophy !

Found the hotel easily and checkin was easy. Hotel reception area was nice with the bar and restaurant adjacent. Rest of hotel looked a bit in need of TLC and our room was fairly basic although the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fairly limited but they did have fresh squeezed orange juice which is always a plus.

Following our canceled flight, we were redirected by our airline to the Ibis Styles hotel. I would like to highlight the extreme kindness of the person at reception on the evening of August 27. The hotel was not notified of our arrival and yet the receptionist treated all guests with patience and professionalism.
The bedding was very comfortable, a spacious bedroom for 2 people, a very functional bathroom. All this in impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast is unlimited and very varied. In addition, the hotel agreed to store our luggage for a round trip to Bordeaux city center. Everything is done to satisfy the customer, and in a good mood. I would not hesitate to return there, for a planned stay this time! Note that the hotel is very well located in relation to the airport (2 Tram stops) and on the Tram line to the city center.

Hi the shuttthe hotel staff and will accomadate your needs. You tell them the time you want to be taken to the airport, allow say 30 minutes for the journey in case there is traffic and they will make the arrangements for the shuttle to be ready for you when need them
Hi there, just outside the Ibis Styles Hotel is the “Lindbergh” Busstop of the Line #1 to the city center of Bordeaux. The bus ride takes about 30 min to a central area of town or 40 min to the final stop at the Gare Saint-Jean. The bus operates from around 5am to midnight with frequently services every 10-30 min depending on the time of the day. See the website infotbm for more details.
