Detailed Reviews
Booked this hotel because of its proximity to Bordeaux airport and a reasonable long term parking deal, given that our absence would span almost 8 weeks. The room was compact, not much storage space for 4 suitcases and 2 cabin bags, plus very narrow bedroom door made getting the bags in and out a bit of a hassle. Overall would say it did the job without being outstanding, hence the 3 star review.

Very small room and bathroom, even for the standards of an Ibis-hotel.Receptionist not very welcoming despite our loyalty membership.
No room on upper-floor. Room with view on parking-lot, everyone good look inside walking by.
Door in hallway bumped with hard noise; very disturbing during the night. No welcomes-drink was offered. We had to ask for it.

We took 2 rooms with a connection door. The rooms were clean but tiny. Very simple but the t.v was big. The bathroom Lso clean and renewed. Breakfast was served from 4.30 a.m and was good enough: fresh orange juice, all kinds of cofee and hot choclate, cruasons, breads, butter, jam and boiled eggs. 5 minutes drive to the airport.

On arrival, the Receptionist was not on duty and so we were checked in by a part time "Receptionist" from the Bar/Restaurant next door. She struggled with our reservation and with the system. Eventually we were assigned a room that was actually as far away from the Reception as was possible. It turned out that the room was also adjacent to the street.
The room itself was very disappointing, being small and the decoration required some "freshening".We have stayed in many Ibis Hotels and in terms of facilities this must rank bottom of the list. The whole demeanour of the hotel was not enhanced by the horrendous roadworks being carried out on the main street outside the hotel. Not the fault of the hotel but it certainly did not help with our experience.
We actually slept quite well thanks to the good Ibis bed and bedding. Breakfast however was a less than uplifting experience. Everything, with the exception of the scrambled egg, seemed very stale and not particularly fresh. This was our perception.
After breakfast we were approached by the real Receptionist who was surprised that we were in residence as she had marked us down as a No Show. This was clearly due to the chaotic check in by the other person on the previous day. It would seem that the No Show status could not be reversed and so we paid only for the room and could not pay for breakfast due to system issues. Why this was the case is a mystery.
I now believe that because we were a No Show I have forfeited my Rewards Points and would like such points to be credited to my account as soon as possible.
We have cancelled our booking for the return trip as we believe that nothing will improve in the short term. A root and branch reorganisation is relatively this hotel

I use the accor chain many times a year.being 73 with plenty of time to travel.
This hotel is not the best.staff are not friendly.
The breakfast buffet was the worst I gave seen this year. I told three staff but nobody took any notice .
The heaters had not been turned on! for the egg .one large lump of congealed egg and the bacon was even worse an undercooked lump of rashers of bacon. To get them into such a mess must be an art .would not go back .
Room clean but no mention that u had to step over the side of the bath to have a shower. No handles to help steady you no rubber mat to put in bath.
So all I could do was wash no shower.the towels were so small they were useless. A shame for a great chain of hotels this is not normal.

Stayed here twice over the last fortnight, not convinced we will again. Room just very tired and basic and in need of attention. Temperature of room very hard to regulate, was pretty cold the second time we stayed. On a positive note was cheap and the staff both times were excellent. But, all in all, not great.

Perfect stay and my wife and dog, we all enjoyed very much to be there.
Good breakfast and very much near from the Highway.
The two floors building is also friendly because my dog is afraid of going inside elevators this building is also very much friendly to persons and animals that are afraid to go inside elevators.

Pretty basic, it’s a good taxi ride from the airport where I got fleeced paying €15 which wasn’t on the meter. Too tired to care, defiantly go Uber or refuse to pay any more than €10. Alternatively it’s a 25 minute walk.
The room was clean but very basic, bed comfortable air conditioning wasn’t working despite it being June.
Breakfast was poor even the coffee which you normally expect to be decent anywhere in France. Cannot imagine how bad the ibis budget is given the standard of this hotel

Excellent place for a good rest after a long travel. Comfortable and clean room. Excellent breakfast and dinner at the restaurant with fresh and delicious local products. So close to the Merignac airport and easy access to the toll roads around Bordeaux.
