We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it.
Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.

Quadruple family room with mezzanine floor perfect for us, but watch the stairs with little ones! Staff couldn't be friendlier, restaurant food fantastic and staff in restaurant friendly and knowledgeable. Room clean. Lovely clean pool.

After driving for an entire day and continuing the next day, all you want is to have dinner and sleep. I chose this hotel because it seemed to offer both with good quality. But the restaurant was closed with no prior (website) notice. So they sent us to Bordeaux or Merignac to see where we could find something to eat. Very disappointing! Why do I choose a hotel WITH a restaurant when it has NO restaurant on that day (a Saturday)? That's not reliable service.
The rooms were clean and you could open the windows (we don't like A/C).
But breakfast was buffet style. That means every guest touches the same bread forks, egg spoons, coffee pot handles and juice buttons. If one of the guests has Covid...
From this experience I can't recommend it.

Dear Guest, We thank you for your feedback and take note of your remarks. We understand your disappointment and are terribly sorry about the restaurant, our web site is actually under maintenance. Concerning the buffet breakfast, all our facilities are desinfected throughout the morning, our staff cleans and sanitizes coffee machine, tables, seats... and several hydroalcoholic gel dispensers have been installed in all catering areas. Clean spoons and forks are also at your disposal on the buffet directly Moreover, to welcome you in a safe environment, our Hotel has been audited by NSF International to ensure that both our staff and customers have fully adopted the new health & safety measures and barrier gestures as part of their daily routine. best regards,

Although it was just an over night stay we were away for 2 months and as we are self-employed need to run our businesses whilst we are away so we had extra luggage for this reason. At 10pm the toilet stopped working we rang down to reception for a maintenance person to come and fix and was told there was no maintenance person (in a 4 star hotel we would expect there to be someone on site) and was offered to use the toilet in reception! after arguing with them we were given the keys to the room next door which was hardly ideal. However we had been driving for 8 hours and were needing to go to sleep with another long drive ahead of us the next day the option of changing rooms (which was offered) was not a practical solution at all given the time it would take to pack everything up and we really need to sleep. The next day when we checked out we voiced our disappointment to the receptionist and said we were unhappy to pay the full rate due to the lack of bathroom facilities she said she would get the manager to contact us (surprise surprise there was no manager at the hotel either) At no point did either of the receptionists apologise for the inconvenience we had been caused both there attitudes were kurt and abrupt. We have had no contact from the manager the payment had been taken from our card ( a very very small discount had been given) without us authorising the payment.

Dear guest, As already mentionned on booking.... We are really sorry about the inconvenience. Indeed, we don’t have a technician at 10 o'clock at night, that's why our receptionist offered you a solution by changing room that you refused, then she offered you another alternative. After a long day on the road, our flight was leaving at 7:30 the next morning. All we wanted was to eat dinner in a hotel near the airport, and take the shuttle the next morning, this is why I reserved at this hotel, about a month in advance. Weren't we surprised when we learned that the restaurant is not open on weekends, and that although the web site indicates that there is a free shuttle to/from the airport, this service is no longer available. I had to make arrangements with Hertz to drop off the car a day later, and we had to find a restaurant in the area, which was also difficult. I am not sure if restaurants close during the school holiday, but it seemed that one out of two restaurants in the area was closed on a Saturday night. For the rest, the rooms are ordinary, the carpets could be refreshed. We spent a week in Basque Country in 4-star and 5-star hotels, and the Kyriad Prestige definitely doesn't disserve 4 stars. What a disappointment!

This place has all the charm and character of a doctors waiting room. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings which they don't tell you upfront. The most positive thing I can say is that it is very handy for the airport. Next time I'll find somewhere else.

We chose this hotel for the ease with which to visit the city with a car. A clean and comfortable hotel. It was very easy to locate and there is lots of parking at the hotel. The tram service for the city was excellent and the terminus stop was very close to the hotel. We managed to achieve all we had planned in Bordeaux with the minimum of fuss.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as an airport hotel. The family room is a little bit different in that it consists of a double bed and then 2 single beds on a mezzanine level. This makes it possible to have the children asleep whilst the parents can still have their lights on - a big bonus. A word of warning, the steps to the mezzanine are very steep and, whilst our 3 1/2 year old coped - we were nervous. There is a very small pool which would have been too small for lap swimming but worked well to allow the children to play and for a cool down. The restaurant was reasonable. All in all, a decent airport hotel (the journey time by car to the airport was 10 - 15 mins without traffic).
