The apartment and public areas were extremely clean and tidy. The apartment was great for our family of 4, a really good size and everything we needed. The breakfast was disappointing. No fruit, very little selection. However my husband did go and ask them to replenish the food as the bowls with crossiants and pain au choc were empty and they did do that.
There is no restaurant on site but head in the direction of the airport (3km) and there are quite a few options along the main road. Buffalo Grill. Overall a good stay.

Hotel was fine, clean, spacious, with little kitchen, iron board, coffee machine, some pots, cutlery etc.
The beds were comfortable, bathroom is little bit small, but with radiator, so when is rainy outside it is very handy.
Gym was good, pool even better, went twice and i was always there alone.
Airport is 5 minutes drive.
Close were some restaurants, but you need a car.
Parking was for free- Wifi was working 24 hours, then you need to use another device.
Check in was quite late at 5pm, then after 10 pm is no one at reception, but they give you code, and was working fine. We never stuck outside, like some one was writing before in reviews.
For me reasonable priced hotel.

Very reasonably priced for a decent standard of room - comfortable bed, functional shower room, ironing board, small safe etc.. and was clean and tidy. Also a small kitchenette so suitable for a longer stay as well.
Nice breakfast buffet in the morning and believe also a pool although I did not see.
A new hotel opened early 2017.
No bar and to get a taxi was impossible (luckily Uber worked after over an hour trying to get a taxi!!).
Basic hotel but good value for money.

We stayed here for one night in early August. We thought basic but ok for the one night. What my disappointment is that we left my (expensive) raincoat hanging in the wardrobe which my partner distinctly remembers hanging due to it being wet. Unfortunately I had forgotten he had told me this and we left without it. On realising we had left it we contacted the hotel with them informing us that it had never been there and they had not found it. This we know to be untrue. We know that this would have been picked up by the cleaners immediately so we can assume that this was taken by cleaning staff. Trying to blame it back on the next lot of people coming in is ridiculous as we know that rooms are cleaned and checked throughly. Yes I left it behind but good hotels, decent hotels, pick up on such errors and have the good standards to hold items at least for some time. Very disappointed in this hotel. Make sure you take everything with you.

I stayed together with my partner at your hotel in Merignac last week the nights of the 29th and 30th of October.

The night of the 30th we came back to the hotel around 22:30 p.m. and the reception was closed, so we used our card to open the main entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, the card was not working as the door did not open. We tried several times to call the number which appeared in the front door, but no one replied.

Suddenly some customers who were inside the hotel appeared and they opened us the front door. They told us that they have faced same issue; they could not open the front door. Additionally, they could not open their bedroom door, as the card was not working.
We tried as well to open our bedroom door, but same issue happened, the card did not work.
We were around two hours trying to reach someone from the hotel to solve this unpleasant situation, but we had no response at all. We were checking numbers of different Nemea hotels. We talked to both Lyon and Toulouse hotels, but they told us that they could not help us. They were stating that they were independent hotels and that they had no relationship between each other.

We really felt abandoned and the whole situation was very unpleasant. We did as well call the police as we were desperate to solve this issue.
As we had no response whatsoever from the hotel, we decided at around 0:15 a.m. to leave Nemea and search another hotel to spend the night. We needed to get a sleep. Same did the family that were with us in the reception. Moreover, they had two young daughters.

Next morning, we went into the Nemea reception to explain the whole situation. The response we got from the man in the reception was to write an email to the following email account: merignac-stadium@nemea.fr. We did not accept so as we wanted a compensation on that same day.
After that they agreed to pay us for the new hotel room we booked. This was not acceptable, and we required to compensate for the lost time, the several calls we did, the medication I was not able to take, and all the inconveniences caused. Finally, we got paid the hotel night at Ibis plus the Smartbox value.

Finally, we would like to take the chance for you to recheck the internal policies on how you control the security as well as the emergency numbers in case any technological damage arises. A customer cannot be left abandoned as it has been done in this case.

The aparthotel is terrible. Located in the middle of nowhere, nothing surrounded, no coffee shops, neither restaurants. Since you came to the hotel, the receptionists were arrogants, don't give you a proper information about the area, as they don't speak English. The worst one is Sophie, who get annoyed when I request a cover for my room, as it was not there! Reception desk just work during certain times, so, if you need assistance, forget it. I only got half paper toilet at my room during 5 days, and no shampoo or shower gel since the beginning... forget to request, they don't give you anyway... Cleanness was very poor, actually there is no daily cleaning, so, you have all wastage at your room during your stay. Overpriced, service is crap, nothing around... in summary, book any other 1 star place and you will get a better service. For me, I should be refunded as it was definitely the worst experience I had in my life.

Appalling hotel , I notified the hotel a couple days before our stay to inform them our flight would be getting in late & would need a let check in ! They told me they were going to send a email with all information and code to open the door & there would be a number that I can ring to be let into the hotel and they would be able to help , for starters the number did not work and the accommodation was locked and we could not get it . I tried contacting them though our booking was getting no where , we waited for 2 hours and still couldn’t get it so we were stranded for the night in a foreign country. The hotel is out from the city , so we could not get taxi at 3/4 am so we had to walk back to the airport in thunder & lightning as they failed to provide us with our BOOKED AND PAID accommodation. The hotel waited to contact me but when they did they informed me it was there fault and would issue me a FULL REFUND it is now couple months later and they are choosing to ignore my messages and not give me a refund after being told 2/3 times it was on the way then sent some picture that they tried to tell me ment it was sent to my account when it has not been after being told the first time that it bounced back into their account but they hadn’t asked for the refund card details at that time but had to ask for the details the second time they said they were going to refund me ! REDICULOUS THINKING YOUR GOING TO HAVE ACCOMODATION IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND WHEN YOU ARRIVE NOTHING

This is not a hotel.. it is an apartment that is rented like a hotel room. Meaning you have to enter at very specific times, do the trash yourself when leaving and that no soap is provided for the shower. There is a self laundry available but not laundry « service ». There is also nobody at the desk at night.

We were traveling by motorbike and they said on the phone that we could park somewhere secured and covered... it was a bicycle shed...
First we thought of a misunderstanding but on site they seriously said to squeeze our big motorbike in... but that the shed would be completely locked between 21 and 9 something because they would not give us the keys so impossible to go out for dinner that way (the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so there are no restaurants and poor public transports there)
The bike slept outside.. not a nice neighborhood.

The rooms smelled like an old smoker’s place. Carpets were dirty. The bed was ok although you hear everyone in the hallways. Possibility to cook in the room but I would double clean the pans before.

The breakfast was good without being amazing.
No coffee service, everything self service.

Would not go there again.

The worst hotel experience in my life. I saw that the check in was between 17-22, but when I reserved the appartments, the hotel appartment send a message that check in was from 17-20, which was not possible for me as I would be driving from Paris and would arrive 21:30. I contacted the hotel appartment and hotels.com and they both told us that its was mistake they were open til 22, but I should not hurry til 22, as they would leave us a password to enter the hotel appartment and I could pick up the appartment cards for our 2 appartments from the safe. So I didnt rush and arrived at the hotel appartment at 22:30, entered the hotel picked up one card for each appattment (had 2 apparments) but the idiots at the hotel had forgotten to activate the card to one of the appartments. We entered 7 people the other appartment and found out that the windows were blocked by a metal barrel that you are supposed to open electronically but the system was defect so we sat in a boiling hot room with a room temperature 31,2 degress, with no fans or aircondition or able to open the windows. There were no people at the service desk after 22 and they had no emergency number or any other telefon number you could contact the hotel personel. We contacted hotels.com and as it was late we were directed to the american number of hotels.com who delivered the worst customer support ever. We talked to hotels.com with 2 incompetent personel for almost 3 hours on the phone, who could not find out to relocate us, so we demanded to talk to the supervisor who fixed the problem in 10 minuttes and relocated us to another hotel appartment at 3 am in the night, without any compensation or late check out so we were deprived for sleep.
I will never book this hotel ever, as they have no personel and they are completely incompetent and have no contact number in case of emergency. They completely ruined our holiday!

It’s a fairly good hotel but some of the amenities like shower gel, which is normally provided by hotel was not provided. The only thing that was provided was a hand wash soap. This was not of good quality and definitely cannot be used for showering. Finally, breakfast served was okay but serving fresh orange juice just made it up. I was not pleased with breakfast menu, which was very limited. You cannot request a chef to make anything because they don’t have such facilities. You must go to shop for food from Casino Supermarket.
