We didn't expect too much from a hotel in the suburbs of Bordeaux so were very surprised to find such quality at a reasonable price. Set back from the road with a pretty courtyard garden, a good bar/restaurant and a free car park nearby it would make an excellent base from which to explore the area. Staff were most helpful finding us a room suited to one of who is a little handicapped.

Very dilapidated hotel, we took 3 rooms, in the first the thermostat no longer worked it was extremely hot, in the second a smell of cold tobacco worthy of a low-end motel and the third was partially redone more modern with a 160 bed. Be careful the other rooms have a 140 bed, which is small for a hotel. The blankets are fleece with a bedspread without fitted sheet. For the maniacs that we are, it's not possible... carpet on the floor everywhere in the bedroom and common area.
Perfect environment with crazy charm at the entrance but major renovation to consider inside.

Was a quick late booking as we were late sorting this, what a great surprise ! Lovely location and staff, clean functional room, great food in restaurant, in a suburb location which was also lovely. Highly recommended ☝️secure parking on site, WiFi, en suite and cheap as chips 👍

Very expensive for the service. Very small room.. Bathroom with mixer taps (several decades since I had seen one), a bathtub with a poor shower curtain, very high toilets while the toilet paper dispenser is very low, the old carpet in all common areas and the room... Certainly we will not come back. Too bad because the hotel is well located and the exterior is pleasant. Does not deserve 3 stars except for the price paid.

An absolute fence. We had booked a standard room in good faith with Logis Hotels , 3 stars. Unbelievable what we were offered. A spacious broom loft with a bathroom. Hell dark with a tiny window opening onto the courtyard. We were forced to pay only the extra cost for a superior room worn to the wire. Friendly people and a good breakfast do not make up for it.

I stayed there in the end of july and really liked the hotel. the only regret i had was that you have to carefully select your timing if you need information or anything since the reception is only really opened in the morning. After that you need to contact the restaurant which is not always very convenient.
The location is quite good, outside of Bordeaux but with good transport took me 20 minutes to get from the hotel to place Gambetta by bus+tram so the car would only really be neede if you intend on visiting "Chateaux" and vineyards.
The room was clean and surprisingly large for a "basic" room, the furniture could do with a little bit of TLC and looks a bit shabby but the bed is comfortable.
Working in a hotel myself I am used to pay attention to details and was really pleased with my stay.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly but not overbearing.
I had several meals in their restaurant and it was all very good. The only negative comment would be that a waitress accidentally dropped a plate near the kitchen pass on her way to serve another guest, she brought it back to the pass (open grill) and the chef just took a crouton out of the plate before sending the same plate to the oblivious guest... if you send food that touched the floor you should make sure there is no one around to witness this...

This is one of my wife's favourite hotels, though it is perhaps more like a restuarant with rooms than a normal hotel. Not in the centre of Bordeaux, so a car is necessary. Good rooms overlooking a peaceful courtyard. The real attraction is the food. Excellent eveing meals (though not in August) are in the courtyard and the breakfast, which is standard French orange juice, croissant and coffee only is taken in the bar where the world comes and goes - good for people watching. Staff are pleasant and heplful.

The town is small and quiet we decided to stay here on our way to the south. Rooms are quaint and clean, staff are very helpful. The restaurant is very good, I had Oysters and their special of the day (steak) it was well cooked and incredibly tasty.
Breakfast had a great selection croissants and local honey are wonderful.

I have stayed in the hotel and eaten in the restaurant twice in the last couple of months (February/March 2017). It's perfectly situated just south of Bordeaux, meaning you miss all the traffic around Bordeaux the next day (heading south).
The rooms are simple and comfortable; they are also dog friendly.
The restaurant is the high point, it isn't haute cuisine, it's glorious bistro food, and some of the best and most comforting I have eaten.
I will be back

We were on route from Blighty to Spain and needed a stop-off point mid-way. Bordeaux was about half-way but we didn't fancy the hussle and bustle of of city centre...rather a relaxing quiet location after a long day driving. Unusually, we didn't check @TripAdvisor before hand but got lucky.

Check-in staff very friendly and hugely helpful...they booked us a table in the restaurant on arrival. Rooms were nothing fancy but super clean, the beds were comfortable and importantly, for this time of year, air conditioning working beautifully. We had a family room with a double and single bed...not a z-bed which is one of our pet hates. Hotel quiet which helped the good nights rest. Breakfast was nothing fancy but good quality continental fare with plenty of coffee, tea and juices...perfect for the day ahead.

Pleased we booked the on-site restaurant as it got quite busy. Food was good...again, nothing fancy but very tasty. The waiter suggested a wine and for 25 euros it was a real crowd pleaser...all three of us loved it.

They have an on-site car-park but it's very small...we were lucky to grab the last space. However, there's a car-park opposite and one further down the road. Very convenient location for the motorway and probably good for the city.

"So far as we could see, all the rooms should be quiet. The hotel is set back, and lies between, two roads that seem quite quiet at night."
