Very clean and very basic accommodation. Staff is helpful about anything to do with guest house. We figured out how to get back and forth between house and downtown. Good value for price. Would recommend the place.

Good: free parking, roomy room, bus stop opposite Bad: no English breakfast available (no cooking) Simple B&B: simple wood furnitures, quite comfy bed, good shower and quiet location 30 min from city center by bus (+ waiting). Not far from a couple of good pubs Good value for money, not a B&B to remember.

After a lovely welcome, it went rapidly downhill. We were shown to our room. It stank! I opened the net curtains to open the window to let some air in, and the rod fell off😲. The lovely little lady managed to get it back up, albeit precariously. The next morning, I went to get a shower.... no hot water! It was an electric shower so should have run independently of the main hot water supply..... but the water coming out of the taps was also cold. I reluctantly opted to wash my hair in cold water. I raised the issue with the lady at breakfast- I should have told her earlier and she would have put the immersion heater on- because everyone was using the water at the same time ?!? ( it was fully booked so obviously everyone would be using water at the same!) Breakfast was not much better. Selection of: Cereals, toast ( with cheap spread/ marg), jam; bitesize cornflake cakes ( I think); I think there was some fresh fruit- but none when I got down after my cold shower; pots of room temperature 'ski' yoghurt and tinned fruit salad; and some sweaty looking cheese slices... I opted for toast- without the spread. In summary, the beds and towels were clean. The rooms are tired and the bathroom in need of attention! Breakfast is basic/ cheap. Relatively cheap for Cambridge- good location and lovely staff. They just need to pay attention to their 'offer' .

Lovely Bed and Breakfast very friendly staff love the crisp and chocolate machine. Free coffee tea and hot chocolate. Continental breakfast which suits me because I dont like a fry up that early. Only one comment it would be nice if they sorted the double glazing it is a very noisy road and I found it hard to sleep could hear every car. If I am ever in Cambridge again I would stay there. X
