Our stay at Villa Vitae was too short. The hotel was a calm and relaxing oasis to return to each evening after our day trips around the area. Our suite was large, with a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and large bathroom. Our patio was large, extending the full length of the suite.
Breakfast was included and despite the fact that the dining room was beautiful, we choose to eat on our patio. The staff provided a tray that we filled with a traditional and delicious breakfast.
Everything in the town of Castiglione Falletto was within walking distance which made this the perfect location.

The location is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed. The property has been upgraded to an impeccable standard. But most importantly of all, Sandra and her team are amazing. They are truly lovely people and go above and beyond. My wife had to make a trip to the hospital on our last day there and Sandra could not have been more helpful. She went so far as to become a translator for my wife while she was there. Could not have asked for more!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Excellent location for wine business, fantastic accommodations, but most importantly, exceptional service. Every member of the staff are amazing. I was feeling under the weather one day and it was a holiday. Sandra was coming in and said she would stop at a pharmacy for me. Above and beyond service. Special shout out to Andra as well who went above and beyond every day. This place is wonderful, 6 apartments so attention to detail is top level. I will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable accommodation. Great beds, lovely view and particularly helpful and welcoming staff who went out of their way to allow us to enjoy our stay for a family wedding. Great area to visit with vineyards and hill top villages. Would certainly recommend staying at Villa Vitae .

A friend of mine recently told me that there are no luxury places to stay in Piemonte. Well - he was wrong. This is a large villa turned 5 or 6 unit beautiful apartment building. We booked through Airbnb. The pictures capture the beauty, newness and cleanliness well. Luxurious accommodations and very comfortable. Gianini and Gabriela are warm and welcoming hosts and help in any way they can. They serve a simple breakfast in the mornings, which I was not expecting and was a pleasant surprise. We also communicated with the owner via email prior to the stay and she booked dinners and winery visits for us. Made everything very easy. Castiglione Falletto is very central if you want to hit the best Barolo communes, including the commune of Barolo (less than 10 minutes) or go into Alba (10 min). 10 min to La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga. We had stayed at Arborina Relais in La Morra previously, which I thought was great, however these accommodations are more luxurious for much less money.

It's a bit of a drive from Tuscany. But we were more than happy to arrive to the comfort and luxury of Villa Vitae. All the pro's of staying in a hotel, except instead of a room, you get an entire apartment. The decor is gorgeous, and the quality of everything from the sheets and pillows to the plates and silveware is outstanding.
We were greeted by Gabriela, one of the main reception hosts. Warm and kind she showed us to the apartments and helped us make dinner reservations. We met Gianina the next day, as she helped make breakfast for me and my entire family (eggs, etc) in the main dining room of the building.
While you are staying in a modern style building, the apartments have modern/Italian lush decor. I stayed in Cesare Pavese apartment, and my family stayed in the Napoleone two-bedroom suite. The Pavese apartment is beautiful and has a cute terrace with a pretty view. But the Napoleone was just gorgeous with a back patio terrace that smelled of fresh gardens and flowers, and a large front terrace overlooking the beautiful landscape of endless vineyards.
We plan to be back for Truffle season next year, and have not stopped recommending these apartments to our friends. I would pick Villa Vitae apartments over any hotel in the area.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for such a pleasant stay.
*Make sure you keep the door to your terraces closed at all times. I woke up in the middle of the night and found a spider on my nightstand, and later found a few stinkbugs (Normal since you're staying in the countryside.) Small recommendation for the owners to please make sure the apartments are sprayed daily for bugs and other insects. Not a big deal though.

I almost don't want to write a review so I can keep this place a secret and all to myself.
Quite possibly one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in hosted by the perfect ladies Gabriela and Gianina. These two wonderful people can not do enough to make your stay comfortable and perfect, from providing an excellent breakfast, which can be taken back to your room / terrace, to recommending restaurants, places to visit, etc.
It was no trouble to make my young son Toby a hot chocolate in the morning - what was remarkable was that it was made by melting chocolate in a pan, adding milk and stirring for about 10 minutes, all with a smile and all the while engaging with my son. Wonderful.
The accommodation is spacious and finished to a very high standard. The views from our apartment at the top of the house were glorious, including seeing the tops of the Alps in the distance on our final morning whilst eating breakfast on the terrace.
The Cantina Communal in the village of Castiglione Falletto is a 5 - 10 walk and well worth a visit for great local food and fabulous local wines. The host is as friendly as can be and the restaurant is a perfect compliment to the Villa (although they are not connected)
The nearby towns have other good restaurants and a large supermarket (Mercato) is only about a 10-15 minute drive and yet when at the Villa you could think you were miles from anywhere.
A visit to Barolo and Le Morra is a must for both the wines and the quite breathtaking views.
The pool is a big enough size, very clean and there is a shower and toilet nearby so you don't have to return to your room if necessary.
I could not recommend this Villa more highly and we are already planning a weekend back there with friends and another visit in the summer with our children once again.

Fantastic few days end of summer. Beautiful villa with six apartments and we had a two bed called Napoleon Bonaparte. Fantastic standard , air conditioned, beautifully decorated , lovely big terraces. The two ladies working there were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful . We were very sad to leave, they were so kind. And great cooks too ! A big breakfast is included either in your apartment or in the communal dining room. You couldn't ask for more , great restaurants in walking distance . Great village and wine tasting.
Thank you we cannot wait to return!

Amazing selection of different size upscale apartments in walking distance of a town in the middle of Barolo country. With a car you are 5 to 10 min away from more restaurants and wineries than you could visit.
Villa Vitae exceeded our expectations. First, the rooms are amazing. Brand new and each furnished with a unique theme. All the furniture and appliances are high quality. It truly lives up to the label luxury.
The icing on the cake is the service. Gabriela made us (and the others guests we saw) feel welcomed and attended to. By day two, she knew what type of coffee and what type of foods each person liked. More than that, she was just super happy and a joy to be around.
Sandra helped with my reservations and without being prompted, asked if I had reservations for the first night in town. I had not made any, and she took care of it for us. We dined that first night at a restaurant we went back to two more times.
I travel as a part of my career and I am very picky. I can say for sure, when we come back to Barolo country, we will be back at Villa Vitae.
