We were driving round looking for a location to do some wine tasting and came across Tenuta Montanello pretty much by accident. They agreed to a wine tasting and we were shown into a lovely room with excellent views. The wine tasting was really enjoyable and informative and we bought some to bring home. We also had a chat around the B&B of the property and will go back to stay next time we're in the area. It's a beautiful location with stunning views around.

Fantastic authentic vineyard experience. Located on top of the vineyards there is the most beautiful view. Wine tasting with Alberto, who is the 6th generation on the farm can be clearly recommended. We chose it for its location and after spending an entire weekend at Tenuta Montanello, we decided to return. So positive experience, good people, a nice family. Clean and spacious rooms Very fat and cuddly black cat. We will return for a cycling weekend and a single tasting of the wines of the Montanello winery.

We stayed for just 2 days last year and felt we should have stayed longer and we told Alberto, we will be back. This October we stayed there for 10 days and felt we were home. Our room was so special, clean and roomy, breakfast is coffee, tea, cuissants, honey, jellies, cheese, sausage, bread, yogurt and fresh fruits. I would pick figs from the trees and add to yogurt. The views are breathtaking, and the wine that is made there are excellent. A walk into the town of Castiglione Falletto through the vineyard is a nice walk, too. Alberto's family are very friendly and he is very helpful in advise of other points of interest in the area. Centrally located in the Langhe, most day trips to other towns are about 20-30 minutes away. We will be back again.

My husband and I just stayed there for 4 nights in June 2013 and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for day trips to wonderful small towns with wine tastings and great restaurants. Alberto Racca is a gracious host. He made us wonderful coffee every morning to go with the breakfast items layed out for us. We ate on the patio under a trellis with the most amazing view of checkerboard vineyards. The family made us feel welcome but we still felt very private. The room was very large with all updated fixtures and the wine that is made on site is excellent. I would highly recommend this B&B!

Three nights in this estate on a hill in absolute peace. Nice room, delicious breakfast, homemade cakes, savory etc. There is no TV in the rooms, choice of the owners, shareable or not. We had a good time. Greetings also to the two magnificent cats!
