In an old farmhouse, the Sobrero family, owners of the Cantina Francesco Sobrero winery, have created a Relais of six rooms and an apartment which exalts the panorama of the Langhe that unfolds right outside the large windows that characterize the design. A corner of paradise to experience.

We enjoyed a marvelous weekend at Casa Sobrero. The location, hospitality and facilities were perfect. Federica recommended two restaurants in easy walking distance. Their are six (6) rooms and an apartment. I stayed in #4 that would be perfect for a small family. It has a loft with a second bed.
Breakfast was very good. Boiled egg, cereal, fruit, yogurt and grill your own ham & cheese panini.
It’s centrally located to facilitate easy (10 min access) to Barolo, Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra and Monforte d’Alba. I look forward to returning when it’s warm enough to take advantage of the pool!

This was my second stay at Relais Casa Sobrero. This time I returned with my wife and two other couples to explore Piedmont. Federica and her team are amazing! They were so accommodating and made sure the vegetarian and gluten-free members of our group were well taken care of. Breakfast is awesome and they make the best croissants!
We took advantage of the pool and had one dinner, accompanied by several bottles of Sobrero Barolo 2019, by the pool.
The facility’s conveniently located near two excellent restaurants, L’Argaj and Le Torri. We walked to both. I loved the views of La Morra and Serralunga d’Alba from the property.
I can’t wait to return and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. I love room number 4.

Casa Sobrero has a very good location in the province of Cuneo, close to Barolo, La Morra, etc... Rooms are clean and correct, breakfast is simple, pool has an amazing view on the surroundings. Only remark : it is situated at a rather busy street, which can cause some noise, in such an idyllic area.

One have to look for a more beatiful and price worthy Hotel option in Piemonte. Fresh and clean rooms, amazing views, great breakfast and friendly service. Pool faces La Morra with great views, and wine is sold by the reception. Try to stay here when visiting, we will for sure be back.

Federica and his family were welcoming and extremely helpful in the organisation of our stay. The wine tasting with Flavio, the winemaker of the family, was brilliant and delicious ! The recommendations for restaurants met our expectations very well. In addition the breakfast is diverse, good, copious with local products. We highly recommand the Casa Sobrero !

My husband and I spent a wonderful 6 nights at Casa Sobrero in September 2016. The accomodation and hospitality was wonderful - the rooms and property were very clean and well appointed with all amenities one would expect (this is a B&B / agri-turissmo, not a hotel as previous reviewers have seem to expect).
Casa Sobrero is well located in the small town of Castiglione Falletto - minutes walk to the town center where you can find great restaurants (like Locanda Centro) and the best Cantina (Cantina Comunale Di Castiglione Falletto) we experienced during our time in the Langhe region.
Hospitality from Federica, Francesca and the rest of their family was warm and friendly and really made us feel right at home. The lengths to which the family goes to make sure you have a great stay was exemplified by them helping us rescue our bottles of wine from Milan Airport after our airline refused to check them in and we had to catch our flight home! Breakfasts were amazing, featuring homemade salumi, cakes, cheeses & yoghurt from around the region. Be sure to ask for a tour of their winery (2 minutes walk down the road from Casa Sobrero) and be sure to buy some of their excellent wine.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at Casa Sobrero and won't hesitate to recommend it to others.

We turned up expecting a Hotel...to find a bright pink modern building with a scribbled note stuck on the locked glass front door...''the owners live a car ride away...call this number and we will be there in five minutes'?!!
We were let in by a fellow very disgruntled resident saying that 'this was the system'.
The place was fully booked, and it showed. Mainly with young families. Dirty dishes and kids toys littered the plastic tables in 'reception'. There was no bar just a ill-stocked 'help yourself' fridge and a broken coffee machine. An industrial floor cleaner was just left in the middle of the scruffy reception/seating area.
Although there was an outstanding view to the rear, quite incredibly our VERY dark box like room faced on the busy main road to the front - this was the room's only window. There were no towels or toiletries...another phone call and another wait while the owners drove over.
Wet pool multi coloured pool towels hung on every railing in the public areas.
If you book expecting an unmanned B&B or if you come to beautiful Piedmont but want to stay in a place that looks like a motorway pit stop with a view of the road crossed with a rather scruffy University Halls of Residence this is just the place for you. Otherwise there are countless much more beautiful places to stay in Piedmont.
I am frankly amazed by the positive reviews...I can only assume that these people had the place virtually to themselves and stayed in a huge bright room with a view...and for whatever reason didn't mind having no bar, or cafe or attendance by any staff. Basically a self-catering without a kitchen.
Although we had booked and paid for our stay in advance, we forfeited our money, checked straight out and went and stayed somewhere else...somewhere absolutely incredible. Our holiday time was just too precious to us waste in such a depressing place. Very poor

I totally agree with the fantastic reviews of Casa Sobrero. This place is amazing. Modern, clean, comfortable and it all comes with amazing views of stunning countryside. But maybe the best thing about Casa Sobrero is the hospitality. Federica (Owner's daughter) runs the place with a big smile, a very helpful nature and a genuine warm hospitality. Federica seems to never stop working but always has time for a chat with her guests and provides such helpful information. We couldn't fault our room. Beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and there was nothing more we could ask for. The breakfast - OMG!!! 'My Mum made this, my Uncle produced this, my sister made this'....and Federica surprisingly had time to make something herself! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Plus it all came with a wonderful view. I really can't fault this place. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. But we will be back and for much longer. Many thanks Federica and family. Casa Sobrero is wonderful.

Visited with my husband. Great location with parking and fantastic hosts. Rooms were clean and modern with a small fridge. Hosts were very nice and happy to give suggestions if you require. Great outdoor area with seating and pool to relax. Also, very easy to walk to multiple places to eat or to a few vineyards in the area. It was not far from many other towns in the Barolo region and we could easily get around with a car. We would return again, thank you for a great stay!

We spent a wonderful week end and I cannot wait to go back. The view from Casa Sobrero is amazing, it is like being in a painting. We could even see the Alps from there. You can sit near the swimming pool and drink one of their good wines while you enjoy the view. The rooms are nice, tidy and clean. The breakfast is good, they give you home cooked food and products from the area. Federica, the owner , is very nice and She will help you to find what you need. She gave us very good advices about restaurants and vinery where we had very good food and very good wine.
