WOW what a fabulous place to stay!!!!! Fabulous, hardworking girl got my key and showed me to my room for the night. I love that the owners have kept the quaint original style and not made it modern inside. PERFECTION. Lovely, friendly evening service in the bar/restaurant. The

The menu at the Cockhaven arms is quite varied but consists of pub grub with an excellent Sunday lunch menu. The fish and chips are very good as was the scampi but there are pies and steaks as well. Deserts are excellent. The bar serves a wide variety of drinks to accompany the

I usually stay in Torquay when working in the area, however now I’ve stayed here, this is most certainly my preference. Easy to find with sat nav ... although at first I did start to wonder where I was going as it is off the main road. Loads of parking available. Friendly and

Are you still charging £2.80 for a cup of coffee (cold) ie ***** hotel prices!
My family and I stayed last August and were not at all impressed. The 'team' at that time were not particularly welcoming but I don't know if they've changed since then. Our main complaint was that the owners' cat was walking over the breakfast tables while people were seated and waiting for their food, which we reported. The cat was ejected but the tables were not re-laid, which made us wonder about the general standards of hygiene.

I would be wanting to stay in the hotel one night on route to Cornwall - would there be space to patk our motorhome overnight
Hi. That should be fine provided you motorhome is not enormous. Suggest you use the car park at the rear of the hotel, rather than the front, as there will be more room for reversing etc. If you have any concerns please speak to Andrew at the hotel on 01626 775252. Cheers Chris
