Ngapae Holiday Park is located within the entrance way to 90 Mile Beach/Te Oneroa a Tohe. We provide fully refurbished self-contained, ensuite and basic cabins along with non-powered and powered camping sites. We have direct access to Te Aupouri Forest and are only minutes from the beach and Lake Ngatu. We provide a swimming pool, pool table, playground, self-service laundry, communal showers & toilets. Note: We take your health & safety seriously. To ensure that we continue to protect our guests, our community, staff and each other, we have a number of COVID-19 hygiene practices still in place. This includes every guest having to sign our guest entry register. Filling in our questionaire, maintaining the 2 metre social distancing regulation, placing sanitizing stations around the premises and having masks, gloves and Ministry of Health advice on-hand for guests at request.

I'm sure you won't regret staying at this Wonderful holiday park with its cheerful helpful wonderful staff. Idyllic setting next to 90 mile beach, forest everywhere and a fresh water lake (Ngatu) just around the corner. Friendliest place I've ever stayed!! Looking forward to returning 😀 🌊🌲🌈🤗😎😊

The worst customer service by far. There communication is terrible. They literally canceled our booking on us one week prior to when we were meant to be staying their. They also promised to refund us our money by the 20th of December. It is now the 7th of January and still no refund. With numerous attempts trying to contact them via phone and email we had zero response from them. I found them on Facebook and messaged them again. Finally we got a response only to say “sorry I forgot to refund you” and now have to wait until the 10th of January to see IF we get our refund. Ngapae Holiday park staff, work on your bloody customer service!!

Made a booking online and paid the required deposit. I've been trying to contact them for the last 2+ months to extend our stay but I have had no response to Emails, Phone (No one ever answers) and messenger but can see they have been active on their FB page during that time. Bit concerned about our initial booking. By their own policy I would loose money by canceling my booking. Even If I wanted to I can't contact them to do it. Disappointed.

Having stayed here several years ago and had a 5 out of 5 stay I took some out of District friends there last Sunday. Arriving at 6.00pm we were met by a friendly lady who gave us the keys to three units and promptly left the site. The units were advertised as Motel, self contained units. None of the three units had a towel supplied, or soap in the bathrooms There were just a bottom sheet on the beds, (blankets are $3 each extra). And the TVs did not work in any of the units. Kitchen facilities were Ok but NO pots or pans were supplied, so we could not cook. When we tried to contact someone we were unable to contact anyone. My unit only had nett curtains which gave us no privacy until the outside lights automatically switched off at 10.26pm. The final surprise was the used sanitary pads in our rubbish bin. But the room was clean and the pillows were comfortable. Hopefully this review will prompt them to resolve the above issues as the location is great and so handy to the beach. …

Our small rural school spent a week at Ngapae Holiday Park and we loved it! The children enjoyed the swimming pool, table tennis table, the grounds and their cabins. The communal kitchen was ideal for our school's needs and much more. Definitely recommend other schools or anyone try this holiday park. Friendly staff who very helpful day or night. Thank you Keryn and whanau for a wonderful time.

Thank you for the great hospitality. We were running late and we arrived after check in closed. However, we were warmly welcomed and given advice of what to do as it was our first day of our campervan trip. Also provided some outdoor equipment for our young kids to play with. The facility was great, the shower facilities are new. Lots of space for the kids to run around and only 5 mins walk to 90 mile beach. Thank you again for making it the best start for our big family trip! We will definitely visit again!

Loved staying at the Ngapae Holiday Park, super friendly staff. Clean, nice and tidy toilets, bathroom, showers. Access to wifi. Nice play area for the kids. Good to have access to dumping and water area for the camper! Thanks loads for our stay whanau! Take care!
