Set in the 210 km² private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Naboisho Camp offers spectacular game viewing, from the herds of antelope that dot the plains of this wilderness corridor throughout the year to the high concentrations of predators, including lion and cheetah. But the real magic of Naboisho is its sheer exclusivity - you'll experience a level of safari solitude and serenity simply unheard of in the busy Serengeti and Maasai Mara reserves. With just nine spacious tented suites, Naboisho is an intimate and elegant safari camp that balances your wilderness experience with discreet creature comforts. Even better, it is one of just two Asilia camps where you have the option of fly camping. If you have a truly adventurous spirit, don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of the African bush.

I travel to Kenya almost yearly so have stayed at many camps and Naboisha is one of my favorites. The view is awesome and the camp has done a great job of taking advantage of the view at all the tents. Donna and Solonik are the cooks and the food is so delicious. Stanley and Lenny took great care of us. We are headed back next year for another week at the camp. Caroline and Eric, Fred and Edina did such a great job of managing the camp. So much wildlife and so many areas around the camp to go everyday.

I realise that people can only travel for essential reasons, but I came back to Kenya recently as I work here. I took the opportunity to have another safari trip and, my first time at Naboisho Camp. It was as I hoped, luxurious, comfortable, food amazing, and we were treated almost as long lost friends by all staff. Very simply, they could not do enough for us. The title of my review, is for those of you that are hesitating as you do not know what to expect. Let me tell you...expect the most exciting and dramatic holiday experience of your lifetime. You can do a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. We prefer the former, then we travel down to the coast in Kenya, to some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever travelled, but for those that want longer with the wildlife, then stay longer. We chose to fly from a local airport, all very slick and efficient, landed 45 minutes later, met by our own car and driver and immediately took the 30 or so minute drive to camp. It took a lot longer as the driver stopped whenever there was anything interesting to see...aside from the general beauty of the Maasai Mara. So, it took a while longer, as who wouldn't stop to see the elephants crossing your path, giraffes, zebras, antelope and of course, the lions and cheetahs. And that was just on the trip to the camp. Arrival was simple, slick and a simple checking in process, sipping a cool drink, looking out at the Mara and then relaxing for the afternoon. After that, beautiful meal, drinks and rest, ready for a 6am start and going on the first game drive. I won't bore you with the details...just go and do it...you will never regret it, and a place like Naboisho is a perfect starting place. Don't be scared, it's, there is nothing that is too much trouble for the Team. Go for it!

Dear Jeremy, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a positive review - not just of your time at Naboisho Camp with us but of the experience of travelling during Covid. It is wonderful to hear you found the experience safe and still as enjoyable as previous safaris, and we know other future guests will take plenty of reassurance from this. Our team loves to welcome guests as though they are family (from a covid-safe distance these days of course) and I’m so glad you felt that hospitality shine through during your stay. And it’s always great to hear that even the ride from the airstrip is so full of wildlife - and we’re glad the animals provided such a welcoming committee to start off your safari on a good note, and that it continued during your stay. Thank you for sharing your experience with future guests, and for taking the leap to visit us in the beautiful Mara Naboisho Conservancy at a time where we know travel has many hurdles to overcome. To hear that it was worth it and that you’d encourage others is music to our ears and we hope to see you both back in camp with us again soon. Best wishes from the Mara, The Naboisho Team

Asilia Noboisho is very well run and luxurious, with an expert staff and excellent food. My guide, Lucas, has an encyclopedic knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area, as well as a good sense of humor and a terrific eye for finding wildlife. But the real star of the show is the Noboisho Conservancy, with its large number of big cats and an unending number of beautiful ungulates. Very much worth the money.

I don’t really know where to start. The service, the staff (Lenny and William) the management (Caroline, Eric and Roloff), the tents, the food, the location, our guide (Evalyn, yes FEMALE!!!) or the abundance of animals (so many cats!)... every moment of our stay was incredible. Private dining in different locations for each meal, which is a departure of the more celebratory family style they usually enjoy, was lovely because of the care they put into creating an experience at every meal. Even breakfast in the bush was delicious but I think everything tastes better when you eat with zebras. Arranged sundowners at the end of drives and around the campfire with champagne and roses for Valentines Day were also incredible touches. The pool area was a great place to relax between drives and cool down from the heat or escape the unseasonal rain shower with a view. The rooms were as comfortable as any fine hotel but with the advantage of roaring lions putting you to sleep and waking you up. The people of Asilia at Naboisho Camp were also more than just maintaining this well oiled machine. They were lovely, friendly, genuine, helpful, playful, interested and interesting. I also can’t possibly do justice with words to describe our guide, Evalyn. A female guide is rare and she is AMAZING! She’s skilled and intuitive and she is where she is because she is more determined than maybe anyone I’ve ever met. I will do everything I can to have her part of my next safari (with Asilia). Of course, the animals. While the grasses of the Mara were tall and limited viewing and the wildebeests were in Tanzania, Naboisho Conservancy offered more than I realized was possible! There are so many cats! We saw so many lions - one pride of 18, plus 3 adult male brothers - one of the brothers found a female from another pride to mate with. It seemed like the cheetah kept popping up around every corner. And if you want wildebeests in Kenya in February, visit Naboisho! I highly recommend Asilia and Naboisho Camp specifically. I can’t wait to return.

Hello, Wow thank you so much for you amazing and passionate review, we truly appreciate the very special comments you have made. We loved having you in camp and so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time staying with us. I completely agree food always tastes better when Zebra are milling around and a G&T is always better when you are watching an African sunset! Evalyn is amazing and such a shining light, at Asilia we actively encourage women to apply to our guide training as they are under represented in the safari industry. We also have a few amazing female guides at Dunia in the Serengeti. We are so proud of these women who are overcoming adversity and truly forging their own path! We can not wait for your return and look forward to welcoming you back some time soon. Warmest regards from Africa, The Naboisho Camp Team
