We recently enjoyed 3 nights at the amazing Leopard Hill Camp. We were greeted by Edward, our guide and had a fantastic game drive as we headed to the camp. We were greeted by the friendly staff and then given a tour of our luxury tent by Daniel, who took care of our tent each day (could communicate with him by walkie talkie). The tents have a sliding roof so you can see the beautiful stars and moon, along with the sounds of nature…and lions at night! The tasty, gourmet meals were provided by Chef Robert. Chef Robert made sure to inform us of his meal plans and catered to our needs. Debra and Manfred, our servers made sure we had everything we needed. There is no fence around the camp so the guards (Patrick, William and Peter) took us to dinner and the lounge and back to our tent at dark. They accompanied us on a walking safari where we saw zebra and giraffe. Edward gave us amazing game drives: spotting and following a leopard, listening to a roaring male lion at night to find him and then followed him, finding a pride of lions with their young cubs playing, and a pack of hyenas with cubs. He took us on a bush breakfast…casual eating in the Mara…awesome! We arrived as guests but by the time we left we felt like friends. We spent time by the evening fire at the lounge chatting with Edward and the guards. All the staff did their best to make sure we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend Leopard Hill. We hope to return next year to Leopard Hill with our son and his family.…
Wow! Look no further than staying at LH camp. The place is beautiful serene clean and relaxing. The food is delicious gorgeous and full of variety. The staff was the absolute best. Helpful and kind and hospitable You will want for nothing You will feel like you’re home and a honored guest at the same time Forget the Mara Reserve. The conservancy is where it’s at. Ok well not forget the Mara reserve but you will see plenty of game here. We saw 3 of the 5. And 1 at Mara. Your driver will be amazing. We were sad to leave
My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights in Leopard Hill and it was definitely one of the best experiences of our lives! It is even difficult to describe in words how incredible the trip was. First, the Safari was amazing, a lot of animals all the time and never with more than 3 cars close to the animals, so it felt like a private tour all the time. Additionally, the Leopard Hill structure is terrific, with amazing tents where it is possible to open the ceiling - unique experience! But for sure the best part was the people that made us feel like we were at home! So thank you very much Evelyne (much appreciated for the all patience and support before our trip!), William, Fred, Robert and all the Leopard Hill team for making our trip one of the most incredible experience that we have ever had. And finally, a special thanks to Nash, the best guide ever! Already miss you guys, hope to see you soon again! =)…
We stayed at Leopard Hill for 3 nights, in the family tent, which was very clean and tastefully furnished. We also enjoyed star gazing at night from the comfort of our bed which was an amazing experience. All of the staff were so welcoming and we were made to feel at home right away. The food was delicious and chef Robert genuinely had a love for cooking and took great pride in the meals that he served. Our guide Nash was phenomenal! She has great experience and knowledge. The conservancy is filled with wildlife and every corner we turned there was something new! The lodge is very clean, they adhered to Covid protocol and followed government guidelines well. We would definitely recommend this lodge and we will surely be back.
We (fiancé and her parents) stayed at Leopard Hill for 3 nights and as we were checking out we wish we could’ve stayed for longer. It’s an incredible camp/lodge with 6 tents (so very private and personalized) on the Naboisho Conservancy and just about everywhere at camp you have views of the abundance of wildlife, greenery, and rolling hills and watering holes. It’s a relatively new camp (opened 2018) so don’t let the lack of reviews compared to other camps dissuade you as it will get up there in reviews as time comes (especially after COVID) as it’s a remarkable place and worthy of all the high praise it receives. It has extremely nice and modern tents, a wonderful, accommodating, and friendly staff, delicious food, and once in a lifetime experience game drives. They also handled covid safety guidelines/hygiene practices very well, but it also helps that basically the entire place is outside (in very nice modern tents of course). They also offer bush walks, visits to the Maasai village, etc., but we just did the morning and evening game drives as those were good enough as is. Richard was our guide, and he was very intelligent, funny, kind, and able to find so many different unique and extraordinary wildlife encounters for us. He was truly AMAAAAAZING. I’m already missing the sights and sounds of the Conservancy at this incredible camp/lodge. If you’re able to fit this spot in your budget, I’d 100% recommend going for it. …
