Spent one evening and this lovely small town. The streets are inviting in the shopping is good. The hotel is very well restored. We stayed in the fourth floor tower which is very romantic. I would highly recommend this for a small boutique hotel.
Feel the history living in a room in a house that's several hundred years old. I was not aware that the restaurant was closed, but had opportunity to dine at the neighbor, and that was splendid. Beware of the church bell, it's silent in the night, but just outside in daytime :-)
"Avoid the rooms overlooking the square on theatre nights"
"Ask for lower level for better water pressure."
"Get one of the theme rooms, they are very large and good for families"
"ask for a room at the back side of the hotel"
"request a 3rd or 4th floor over-looking the church and village square (unless you need quiet)."
