We came from Israël to celebrate our vacation in the beautiful Algauer Alps in hotel Nebelhornblick in Oberstdorf.
This hotel has a wonderful location with view on the Mountain Nebelhorn and surrounded mountains. The valley is so romantic .
We had a very large tasteful decorated room , with balcony and amazing view .
All people that work in this hotel want to make you happy , everyone is kind .
The food is excellent, with nice variety , good quality and quantities.
The whole hotel is nicely furnished , silent , has a fabulous spa with pool .
In the summer season all the cable lifts and bus transport is including the price .
There is a large free parking lod.
WE HAD OUR BEST VACATION EVER ♥️♥️

Large, clean rooms. The whole building is clean and tidy. The indoor pool too. The interior decoration shows a variety of color concepts. Not always coordinated.
The staff is mostly friendly, but not very professional.
The selection of drinks is rather sparse. The wine selection does not meet the expectations of a 4* offer.
The food is OK, but nothing extraordinary. But considering the comparatively good price, it is OK.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the hotel has a family feel to it. Harald, on reception was lovely. He couldn’t be more helpful, as we both speak English and very little German. We were always greeted with a warm reception when coming back to the hotel.
The hotel was very clean. Although the decor was a little outdated, the furniture and facilities were spotless and in good condition.
The pool area was clean too, we can’t fault anything there!
The only things I can think of that would let it down slightly would be that there was no aircon, or fans on request. This week has been very hot, so even with the Window open, it was very stuffy. The decor was a little out of date (possibly 80s) it could do with updating.
The food was a little pricey for what we were getting, however the breakfast choice was good!
The views from the hotel grounds are great too! - see photos
Would recommend that you drive if you stay here. It’s only about 5 minutes drive to central Oberstdorf.

nice hotel, but sauna was open only from 14:30 (you can not find that on their web-site), you have to pay for internet and the food was horrible!!!!
it's a shame that they charge you so much money for service like this

Our friends paid for us to stay overnight in this hotel as a wedding present while they babysat. From the welcome we had on arrival to the level of service all the way through the stay we could not fault this. In particular, dinner was excellent. Great value @ 23euros for a 5-course dinner. Quality of the food was great and from a service point of the view, the maitre d' was pleasant and courteous and one of the family members made their way round all the tables asking people how they were enjoying their stay - something you don't get in a standard hotel. The bedroom / furnishings etc were top notch with plenty of towels and nice toiletries. We also got a complimentary lift pass and parking permit in Oberstforf which came in very useful. We used the pool but not the sauna. The pool - though quite small was clean and well maintained. All in all a very enjoyable stay & would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is nicely situated. Rooms are clean and spacious with facilities basic but ok. Staff are friendly. The central seating area is not really cosy with cold coming in from the main entry. The welness requires some upgrading. The food quality was disappointing and very basic quality, cheapish. The hotel has a back to the 70/80s feel to it. Not a place we would book again.

Had a room with a view to the Nebelhorn mountain. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a great range of choice. And yes you can stay there to eat the food is quite good. All in all its worth staying in this hotel.

First, the note that the double room cost 219,- € per night. The photo of the sauna area is cheeky because there is no such sauna area in the hotel.
The price/performance ratio offered is in no way correct: Baking rolls, egg powder scrambled eggs (the water is in the warming basin, very unappetizing), egg dishes are not offered on request, no internet in the breakfast room. Dinner on the first evening was also not particularly recommended, which is why we preferred to go to Oberstdorf for dinner the next few days.
The double room, no. 29, itself was large and obviously renovated (except for the window front, this was in deplorable condition), the bathroom very small, so you could only use it alone, the entrance of the shower up, the shower cubicle also small, the soap dish installed in it obliquely, very small, obliquely mounted Maico fan. The room doors were in very poor condition, the balcony furniture very cheap equipment without reasonable support for the balcony chairs, the balcony itself also looked shabby and needed urgent renovation. The room had a small non-internet television. We learned on request that some of the work in the room had been performed by the boss himself, hence possibly the crooked installation of the fan and soap dish.
The hotel has 40 rooms, in the underground garage has a stowage for a maximum of 6 e-bikes with only 4 outlets for charging. Charging the batteries in the room is not allowed.
The view from the hotel room is nice, the location of the hotel very quiet
