Just returned after spending a week at this lovely guest house. Mr & Mrs Buler go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Breakfast was a treat with so many fresh choices. Would certainly recommend. Thank you.

When renting "zimmers" in Germany it is very important the interaction with the host is smooth and pleasant as from my experience I met a lot of Bavarian hosts that were a bit snob and didn't speak English. The lady at Gaestehaus Buehler is so nice and kind during check in and breakfast. The place is clean and tidy, great views and relaxed atmosphere. I would go back again.

Stayed at the hotel as part of our E5 walk across Europe. The hotel was spotless, the breakfast absolutely superb and the host was excellent and could not have helped more. A lovely guesthouse not far from Oberstdorf - a short regular bus service down the road. Thank you again for your Bavarian hospitality.

We booked the superior room, facing the mountains. Big, clean, with huge flatscreen, big comfortable bed, balcony and new big bathroom. The room also has a small mini bar and nespresso machine. Breakfast was very nice and again in a wonderful room with wooden decor. Hosts were very helpful in providing us with all sorts of tips. Only negative was the fact we could not connect to the wifi. The Breitachklamm is a good hours walk from the gastehaus.

The place is amazing, clean and the hostes are soo kind. Also the view from here is extraordinary!!! Breakfast was tasty and full of many many good great food to eat. Great breakfast, clean rooms with views. Showers worked well and one of the couples in our group had a beautiful bathroom. Location is stunning with waterfalls up in the cliffs behind.

My wife and I stayed here for three days as one of the apartments has a sauna - perfect for a short honeymoon after our wedding in Oberstdorf. When booking, we specifically asked if it would be possible to make the room a little nicer, which is not a problem in other hotels and accommodations. This was confirmed to us, so we booked. However, when we arrived to check in, no one was there. When I rang the bell, I was put through to the operator by phone, who told me he was on his way and would be back in 20 minutes. We waited at the front of the driveway. After 30 minutes, I rang again. Suddenly the operator was there and didn't even really apologize. You feel "deceived" to put it nicely. When we got to the room, we realized that nothing had been made up at all, as we had been promised. The breakfast was meager and offered little choice. If you asked for something extra, like an extra bread knife, you were asked if the other knife would be enough. In the sauna there was a broken piece of wood that had still not been repaired since our last visit. Unfortunately we couldn't sit on the balcony in the evening because bats were constantly flying over the balcony from the attic. We weren't even asked if we were happy with the room. Absolutely unprofessional, we paid almost 640 euros for 3 days and we feel really robbed because of the service there. We are really very annoyed with what we were offered for our "honeymoon" - we can't afford much and thought we would have a few nice days here. We were really very disappointed. We will absolutely never stay here again.

The Bühler guest house is highly recommended. The owners are always friendly, helpful and courteous. The staff is the same! The rooms are clean and adequately equipped. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate.
