Detailed Reviews
The hotel is nice, with a tasty breakfast for a reasonable price. Location is central. Parking is available in underground garage fir reasonable price.
There is some form of A/C but we didn't notice it and it was very warm.
The main thing for us were the volatile experiences with staff. From very positive, helpful, friendly to surprisingly snappy, unfriendly and self opinionated, we had it all during our stay.

Conveniently located, steps from the station and very welcoming front desk. The rooms are not very large but well equipped and very quiet. Pretty good breakfast, excellent wifi. This hotel is a very good choice given its moderate prices. Would return.

Stayed only the one night with my husband and son, we had a gorgeous room that facilitated the three of us, the decor throughout the hotel was fab, modern and comfortable, great choice at the Breakfast buffet and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Our son was feeling a little unwell and passed out at the breakfast table and the staff were amazing, they were so quick to respond, they called an ambulance and helped with keeping him comfortable.
They let us stay passed the checkout time so he could rest and even gave him a gift, a teddy bear and a get well card, we were very impressed to say the least ❤️

I am a long time customer of Harbr boardinghouse in Ludwigburg. This time I tried the hotel.
Made a reservation of a standard room, and upon arrival a room for disabled people was allocated for me. Asked to change but was told the system says that’s what I booked.
Showed my reservation confirmation to no avail.
Then I was offered to leave the hotel without charge, as they were fully booked. Nice approach…
I was far from being the last guest that arrived that day. The reception insisted I reserved this room and my word had no weight.
At no point I was told they were sorry but that’s what they had - the staff has no knowledge of what service is about. They feel they are making a favour and act accordingly.
I was not happy and showed it, so I got the other receptionist making faces to customers that were queuing. Very professional…
The structure is nice and the barman Carlos is the only light in the darkness of the staff in this hotel.
The manager and the front desk responsible were aware of my dissatisfaction but did nothing to contact me during my 2 days stay.
When talking to the manager it was clear that it was a waste of time to explain a customer was there and not a line in the system. Someone told me the service desert is a problem in many places. I witnessed it.
I like to say good things normally as I appreciate good service. But that’s the reality I found.
I want to believe the allocation of the room has nothing to do with my provenance.

Cheap hotel around the corner from the main bus stop. Unfriendly staff. Sat at the counter and threw down a laptop when checking in. Rooms with cheap Ikea furniture, cheap for the price of 230 euros. This disgrace should be closed down. Don't stay there under any circumstances. That's what happens when you pay the staff a Harz 4 wage!
