The location is perfect, room 24 on the second floor overlooking Grand Anse bay. Room is basic but very clean and has everything you need plus that incredible view, watching sea turtles pop their heads up just off the beach. Staff lovely, very helpful. We would certainly stay here again!

People at the hotel were great! The room was spacious . It would be nice if there was easier beach access from the hotel and shampoo/conditioner available for guests. Reasonable price too! They use ECD. eastern Caribbean currency. If you use American dollars be certain they don’t have any tears because the banks will not accept them and the vendors won’t take them. There are also many tame stray dogs roaming the beaches. Great waterfalls to hike too. The food is awesome; lots of great fresh fish!

This was my first visit to Grenada and a solo trip. From my research i realized Grand Anse was the place to be. After my vacation got postponed by 2 weeks the hotel rates all went up. I wanted the bulk of my budget to go to experiences and dining so i looked into smaller hotels and guest houses and this property was the only one directly on the beach.

The property is more guest house than hotel. Extremly clean, quiet and safe. And located right on the beach. I booked an ocean front appartment for the sunset and the amenities of a full kitchen. I had a packed schedule planned and wanted to have my breakfasts in room before leaving for the day. Grocery and food delivery were quite easy.

Reception wasn't opened at the times stated on this app. As long as you manage your expectations (no restaurant on property) this property is ideal.

We have stayed here 5 times and one of the reasons is because of the owners and staff. When it looked like we would be stranded in Grenada due to the COVID-19 virus they assured us that we had a home there for as long as we needed. We did manage to get back to Canada and look forward to returning next year. Love you all. Linda Davis and Jim Hazell

This could be a lovely little hotel but it is neglected and understaffed. One person on the desk at a time means that it can be impossible to find someone as they don't respond to WhatsApp messages or phone calls within 24hrs on occasions. That said, I was very well looked after by Donrick. Most of the building consists of apartments so if you request one room it will often be part of an apartment with a connecting door and all the associated extra noise and cooking smells. I was put in a room which was not what I booked, and ended up sleeping in 5 different rooms over a fortnight for various reasons. The hotel is at a quiet end of the beach and the only sound is the crashing of the waves most of the time. It was very peaceful and the beach is wonderful, although paddling through the surf across the front of the next door hotel, can be daunting at times.

Ok first of all if you want pristine then this is not the place for you however if you want fabulous views, incredibly helpful staff and to be able to walk Grand Anse Beach every morning and do t want to be in an hotel that could be anywhere in the world then stay here. It’s quirky a bit faulty towers meets marigold hotel but we loved it. We had a two bedroom self catering apartment with two bathrooms. Yes there were some faults given the age of the building but that’s what we loved about this place and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. The frogs are very nosy however but that’s part of the charm 😎

Anyone trying to make a booking at this hotel BEWARAE!!!! of the owner, he is not to be trusted. He gives you one rate over the phone and when you have made your deposit and he takes your money , he calls back to say it cost more money. This establishment is new to the Hotel industry and web-site is very vague simply because they make it so so as to vary rates as they feel like once they feel you can afford more. We actually sent him an email before booking our flights confirming the discussion over the phone about the rates and he replied and confirm only to find out later that he is calling asking for more money saying that we misunderstood, so why then did he not take my deposit if I misunderstood, surely he can read my email or maybe he can only read grenadian english. IF you can't trust him before you arrive God alone know what you will get when you do arrive

Had a fantastic time here in March-so much so I'm going back in November.
The location is great-right on Grand Anse beach-not the centre of the beach, but at one end-I liked that because it was fairly quiet without much passing traffic. Grand Anse beach itself is a superb beach-not particularly over-developed, but a with few restaurants snack bars and other hotels more centrally positioned.
Access to St George was easy via a cheap bus service running at the top of the road a couple of hundred yards away.
The rooms were large, and more like self catering apartments rather than fully appointed hotel rooms, so don't expect them to be 5*, but clean roomy, and with great views over the ocean.
The hotel itself felt safe and secure -people couldn't just wander into the grounds from the beach, and although no swimming pool, the gardens are great to relax in.
The staff were very accommodating-making myself and my girlfriend any breakfast we wanted on the lovely balcony overlooking the sea. I did not eat at the hotel in the evenings-indeed I'm not sure they offer that facility, but there were planty of local places to eat.
Although definitely not top class, I felt this hotel offered great value for money in a fantastic location.

I travelled out to Grenada as part of my 40th birthday celebrations to watch the cricket. My wife booked by phone, and was quoted a standard room. The description of a standard room on their website is:

"The choice of the upper or lower floor with a view of the ocean, Completely air conditioned, queen or king size bed, cable TV, bathtub and shower with hot and cold water, refrigerator, alarm clock radio and kettle."

The rate quoted on their website for a booking after 15th April 2015 was $91 for a room on an upper floor and $85 for a room on a lower floor.

When I arrived I was shown to a room (room 3 I believe) on the ground floor (although the room itself was below ground level), adjacent to the hotel’s reception office. The ‘view’ from the room, such as it was through the heavily barred windows, was of a concrete walk way. The curtains had to be kept closed as the continual parade of other guests could see directly into the room so there was, in effect, no natural lighting. Directly outside the room was also where all of the empty bottles were stored from the hotel restaurant and bar, so I was often woken late at night and early in the morning as these were moved. The fridge in the room was broken and was not fixed during my stay, the toilet was not fixed properly to the floor and the WiFi didn’t work. I made it clear I wasn’t happy with the room and requested to change rooms but none were available.

After a couple of days you kindly found me an alternative apartment but this was a little too far from Grand Anse and I opted to stay after I was told I would be moved at the hotel for the last couple of nights. I was moved to a room on the top floor with a couple of days to go, which was very nice in fairness.

When I came to check out I found out that not only had I been over-charged for the standard room (I was being charged US$89 as opposed to the US$85 advertised) I was given no further discount for staying in a virtually windowless room with broken amenities for five days. On top of that I was charged a further US$186 for breakfast. I tried to discuss this with the very nice reception manager and made it clear I was unhappy with the full charge. I asked if it was possible for the breakfast charges to be waived as a gesture of good will but she told me the owner would not allow this. Eventually the owner came down and he was very aggressive. He stated that if I was unhappy I should have complained earlier(!) and that I had to pay the full amount. When I again refused this he threatened to have me arrested at Grenada International Airport. I was left with no option but to pay as my flight was leaving in three hours.

It is such a shame that the holiday ended in this way as the staff were, in general, very good. But I do not think it is right that the owner can take advantage of a busy tourist period on the island in this manner. In my mind it is clear that he over-sold the hotel and I was left with a room that would not have been let in normal circumstances. It did not match the description on his website and to make matters worse I was overcharged for the privilege. It has certainly made me think again about returning to Grenada in the future with my family, is this the sort of experience I can expect from every establishment on the island?

Been to the Isle of Spice loads of times, first time staying at this hotel. Went for partners birthday, was delighted to discover we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite at no extra cost. The queen size bed was so comfortable, the bath and shower was massive, kitchen was well equipped even had a smoothie maker which we used a few times. Room was cleaned every day with clean towels etc. We had our own veranda that faced the Caribbean Sea, every morning as soon as we woke, we opened the double doors to hear the sound of the sea, very therapeutic!
Len and his staff Nichelle, Devon, Ilona were excellent very helpful they couldn't do enough for us, cannot fault them, Len even offered to take us to the airport!

We're returning next year to get Married and will definitely use this Resort for the ceremony, reception and Honeymoon...The people are very friendly and will always greet you with a Good morning or good afternoon ..We had breakfast, lunch and Len arranged a special delicious Lobster Dinner cooked by the lovely chef with Champagne for my Sister and her husband for his Birthday, the best meal we've had.Len gave us the pleasure of his services by opening and pouring the Champagne..Buses to Town run frequently from the top of the road,at a cost of $2.50EC..per person..
I would recommend this hotel as its safe and perfectly located on the beautiful clear sea, white sandy beach of Grand Anse plus Len and his staff are fantastic!!
