Our road trip of the UK was coming to an end, when we picked this B&B to stay before we headed to Manchester. As soon as we arrived, we felt relaxed within the country setting. Our hosts Jane and Trevor welcomed us, looking after all our needs and offered us complimentary wine after our long journey. We enjoyed our drinks outside, soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautifully maintained gardens. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The onsuite was very large with options of a bath or shower; all the time the towels were gently kept warm! The English breakfast would have to be the best I have experienced on our tour and I wish now we had stayed another night to further enjoy the hospitality and the slow pace of an English country setting. I cannot recommend this B&B enough!

EXCELLENT! On arrival we were given a warm welcome by the hosts Jane & Trevor, we were shown to our lovely room which overlooked the pretty garden. Everything was perfect, the decor, the en suite, the hospitality tray
which Jane provided a flask of fresh milk to go with, also very thoughtful little bottles of wine. Jane then served us a lovely pot of tea & homemade chocolate flapjack 😋 in a delightful snug by a wood burner.
The bed was very comfy & after a good night's sleep we were served a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Jane & Trevor obviously enjoy what they do as it shows with their welcoming nature & attention to detail. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for one night as we had a event that was cancelled last min so needed somewhere in Shrewsbury or outside .. From the get go jane offered us a cup of tea and a scone with jam which was on my partner's list as we had been driving for over 3 hours .. sat in the lovely garden and she booked us a reservation in a local pub some 5 minutes away . The room was all you would need and more complimentary bottle of wine and a large bathroom even thou its just of the main road its a peace full setting and quiet at night .. After a great nites sleep breakfast was plentiful tanz had the works which was freshly cooked using great ingredients' spend some 10 months away from home staying in 5 star establishment's with my job and this was a pleasant stay and surprise .We met Trevor the following day and they are both super hosts would return in a heartbeat would highly recommend ...

From the moment we arrived Jane and Trevor couldn’t do enough for us. We were warmly welcomed with tea and cake in their beautiful garden before being shown to our bedroom which was spotlessly clean. The huge queen size bed was so comfortable, and we had everything we needed in our room to make our stay just perfect, including a large ensuite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The breakfast was to die for with an excellent choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, pastries, yoghurts, and a hearty cooked breakfast, followed by toast and endless tea, we felt very spoilt! Jane even went out and bought black pudding for my husband to go with his breakfast.

We loved the little extras in our room including fresh flowers from the garden, complimentary red and white wine, filtered water, magazines, and Sky TV with Netflix. We also enjoyed watching TV in the snug which was a lovely and comfortable place to relax in after a long day. Jane and Trevor were superb hosts who went that extra mile to make sure our stay was just perfect. We thoroughly recommend Pelham Grove to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay near Shrewsbury, you will not be disappointed! Jane and Trevor are lovely friendly people who love what they do, and it shows from the minute you arrive. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We received a warm welcomed and Jane provided us with tea and cake at a table in the garden. Our room was very comfortable with excellent en-suite, and the king-sized bed provided us with excellent nights of sleep. Jane and Trevor were friendly and helpful hosts, the breakfast choice was very good, quality excellent, well presented and delicious. The location of Pelham Grove B&B served us well in our exploration of the area and we visited Powis Castle, Shrewsbury, Attingham Park (NT) local other local places of interest. We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay and the facilities provided, and recommend Pelham Grove B&B.

Outstanding accomodation - sumptuously comfortable huge bed in a beautiful house with a vast landscaped garden you can sit in in the summer. Totally peaceful area for a fabulous sleep. A perfectly clean, big bathroom with big bath and separate shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

A massive bonus is having use of a downstairs living room complete with sofa, two armchairs, a TV and a log-burning fire. So lovely to have this - we spent our evenings in this room just like home, rather than sitting in the bedroom.

The hosts were wonderful - so friendly and welcoming and made you feel really happy you chose their place. They made a stunning breakfast with so many fresh and cereal options to choose from prior to the delicious cooked breakfast.

Unreservedly recommend.

We were welcomed at this beautiful B&B by Jane, who had kindly prepared cream tea for two of us and lemon drizzle cake the other two, which we were able to sit out in their beautiful garden and enjoy. The house is in pristine condition, spotless, and the rooms are so well appointed, even down to robes and slippers. Jane and Trevor are wonderful hosts and provided an excellent breakfast. Everything was perfect, we can't recommend highly enough.

We have just enjoyed the most wonderful two night stay at this fabulous b&b. From the minute Jane and Trevor opened the door to greet us, we felt genuinely welcomed into their beautiful home. They have ensured every comfort is catered for, a welcome pot of tea and homemade flapjacks in front of a woodburner in the snug - just what we needed after a challenging 5 hour drive (fog and ice, with snow about to fall!). The bedroom was beautifully decorated, bath robes and slippers provided and everywhere spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and nothing was too much trouble. My message regarding dairy free had not got through and although I insisted not to worry, Trevor dashed out to ensure there was soya milk for breakfast! We cannot praise this B&B highly enough, thoroughly recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you so much Jane and Trevor, you should be very proud of your beautiful B&B. Lyn and Bob

What's not to like!
Lovely welcome by the charming hosts, Jane and Trevor, who couldn't do enough for us.
Strawberry meringue and coffee in the beautiful garden. There was even a glass of wine in the garden later.
Lovely property. Super breakfast.
If you are looking for place to stay, look no further than this excellent B&B.
