I travelled with my family to Havelock in March 2023. And i choose Lemon Grass hotel for stay in Havelock island. Here is a quick list of pros and cons for this hotel:
Pros: 1. Excellent location 2. Well maintain property 3. Prime location 4. Good Food
Cons: 1. Attitude of hotel owners/staff are not at all welcoming. Even if they see you carrying luggage, they will change their course but won’t offer help or get concerned in anyways 2. I had pretty bad experience as i wanted tea and to my call i got a response “We don’t offer in room service so your only option is to use the in room cattle service” in a pretty rude way to which i agreed and after 40 mins when i was leaving my room, i see room servicing happening in next cottage which was unexpected. When i complaint owners / employees mentioned that thats for your room only, which I don’t buy as i clearly saw order going to another room. So you are on mercy of hotel staff / owners 3. No food servicing at beach side as other hotels in the same vicinity 4. Hotel is fairly understaffed. Only one guy at counter and one guy in kitchen hence not so good dining experience.

An excellent location, it's right on the beach. Perfect to get up, walk out of the room to catch the sunrise!
We stayed here for 6 nights for our DiveIndja open water course.
The deluxe rooms are basic but they have all the facilities. The lagoon rooms are better furnished. But both of them are neat, clean and comfortable with very sweet staff taking care of everything you need.
I've given 4 stars as their own restaurant isn't great but there are lots of places around to eat !!

Not well maintained resort, we faced water problems all the time, food was good, rooms were good, but the ambiance of the resort is not good, it has a Beach and is good crystals clear water. We also faced power issues often voltage drops and sometimes high voltage. Overall average

Lemon Grass Hotel in Havelock exceeded expectations with its stunning beachfront, charming rooms, and exceptional service. Thanks to Sarvanna, we got a cozy room closer to the beach, offering a priceless private beach experience with swings, tranquility, and mesmerizing tides. Witnessing the water hues and crab running and hiding in the sand added to the charm.
In the evening, the hotel has lights and music on the beach, offering special dining setups for both couples and families. Impeccable service, cleanliness, and breathtaking views made it the highlight of our 3-day Andaman trip. The hotel also offers exclusive water sports package, which we did not take. You can also enjoy the sunrise and sunset from their private beach and this made our stay unforgettable.
While the price is slightly above average, it's genuinely worth every penny for the unique experience. If you find yourself in Havelock, Lemon Grass Hotel is a must-visit gem!

The infrastructure is good but the maintenance is horrible. The view of the so called beach view is only available for 2 rooms, the rest of the rooms get to see the faces of the other guests. The washrooms have barely any water running. I had to wait for 45 mins to let them fix our shower even though we checked in at 3pm. No sense of apology or regret & Clearly they don't check rooms before handing it over. Coming to the highlight : They don't accept credit cards so you better carry cash else they will charge you extra for online payments & it's YOUR problem. I went to the reception multiple times after check-in to settle the balance amount but since the CC machine wasn't working I couldn't. The staff never got back to me. We finally went again in the night to book our can to the ferry and to settle the bills. Nobody was present at the reception. We waited for a good 15-20 mins but the guy had gone for his evening walk and never came back even after multiple calls from the HK staff. We finally took our scooty and went to our previous hotel & the owner helped us book our cab. After I came back to the Hotel & met the guy at the reception & asked him again regarding our bills. He refused to accept the card (or pay extra) & asked me to go to the ATM at night. Post which I refused. Then he started to misbehave. I was shocked to see how the feedback was being received. Clearly they don't care on how or what you think about the property or their services. So, I asked his name to which he said & (I quote) : "I have no name". Can you imagine? And he said you have to check out at 9am, SHARP. After I settled the bills he came to me with a pending bill of another guest. Unbelievable. In spite of paying a decent amount for the rooms this is definitely not a recommended place to stay.

Wir hatten eine Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nähe des Strandes in einer wunderschönen Anlage. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, mit einer Terasse mit wunderbarem Blick auf`s Meer. Ein Kühlschrank wäre von Vorteil. Das À-la-carte-Frühstück war für einen "nicht-Inder" nach einigen Tagen etwas eintönig. In in der näheren Umgebung gibt es genügend Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt !

1. No intercom 2. No Toilet Paper 3. No minibar, had to keep insulin somewhere in their manager’s room.
Other then this, rooms are fine.
For The Lunch -
1. Quality not at all upto the mark. 2. Had to sit there for atleast an hour to eat food. 3. White Sauce pasta served without any spices, only boiled pasta topped with a spoon of cream with salt only.
For The Dinner -
1. They told us that we serve thaali in dinner. 2. No Buffet was laid, portions were given when ordered.
For The Breakfast -
1. No tables to sit, had to wait for a long.. Kept on standing for half n hour.
2. Now a table was managed somehow, but no plates to get our food. 🔴Plates which were being used were then washed n given at the buffet counter without being wiped. 🔴No bowls to take curry… 🔴Empty chefing dishes… 🔴Exclusive menu for breakfast was poori + Sabji + Poha Only, that too which seemed as if was for a lower grade. 🔴Tea was served in the cracked cups from which the tea was spilling. 🔴No Spoons, when i asked got *wet serving spoons* to eat.
For The Overall Ambience Of The Resort -
1. While entering inside from the road, it seems as if entering a bangaar shop.
2. Just before the room area at the porch, on to your left hand side is all building material scattered and on to your right hand side is a pond of bangaar & waste water.
3. Just infront of of our room, construction work is going on continuously which is very very annoying.
