Hotel is well situated for access to the pistes, simply turn right from the hotel and there is an entry to the pistes about 20 metres from the hotel. Getting back is a little further, you have to use the Castor & Pollux escalator and walk about 150 metres. Lovely hotel, nicely furnished and decorated, with lovely staff. Drinks are a little pricey, 8.5 Euros for a large beer/pint and 7.5 Euros for apple juice. We stayed under a Crystal Ski package and all drinks are payable except at breakfast. Tap water at dinner is free. Hotel has 2 supermarkets within 25metres and is a 5 minutes walk from the main street of restaurants. Hotel was very quiet during the night, with rooms spread over 3 floors. Would recommend as a good place to stay in Val Thorens.

The hotel is located within a short walk of the piste at the top end of VT.
I booked through a travel agent to safeguard any COVID related issues that could have caused my travel plans to change. Unfortunately the agent only offered a B&B option, but I was happy that, once at the hotel, they were happy to offer a half board package for a very reasonable price, especially considering the quality of the food, which was excellent.
I have stayed here before, and the hotels facilities were to the same high standard, with the small spa offering an opportunity to relax in the sauna, steam room or jacuzzi. The bar with piste views also offers the opportunity to read, chat with friends, have a drink and relax.
If you are looking for a small, high quality hotel in VT then look no further. The only very minor issue may be for people with limited mobility as there is no lift, all the rooms being accessed via a large spiral staircase.

As a party of 4 senior skiers, we could not have stayed at a better hotel. The welcome was warm and the English speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinners were of exceptional quality and we sampled some superb wines (although there was no option for a budget price house wine). The breakfasts were also outstanding. Our rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is located in the upper part of the village and access to the slopes is quite convenient, involving a short walk.

We were extremely lucky to spend the very last week in Val Thorens before the resort was closed due to the virus. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well and good luck for next season.

Thank you for the 'super friendly and bi-lingual staff'. You have been a 'super' client too ! Glad you enjoyed all our Maison has to offer you. Actually you are right and we are not hiding the fact we are not ski in/ski out. We are located only 50m to go on the slopes roundabount and 200m to come back. Sorry if this point has been the 'one really bigcomplaint' making your holidays perhaps a little bit less enjoyable than you have been expected. Nethertheless, we have been happy to know you and we will be happy to see you again next year ... Hopefully

On arrival the greeting by the reception staff was a true smile. How the young lady who insisted on doing it managed to carry the large bags of 4 old men down 3 flights of spiral stairs withiut being out of breath i have no idea.
the rooms where superb the beds comfortable the shower rooms enviable.
A nice touch were the dressing gowns and slippers. There was also a kettle in the rooms.
Another disappointment was the weight gain with the food it was too good.
There was a choice of evening meal everyday chosen after the excellent buffet breakfast, make the bacon a little crispier.
Wine choice was good but as the cheapest was 39. euros the 4.of us only had one bottle a night, normally we would have had 2, at least.
my suggestion would be to have a limited choice of house wines or on carafe at a reasonable price. That is my only complaint.
Will definately go again if the shi slopes ever open again. We had the last week before the coro closure.

Dear Anthony, I thank you for your charming and so funny comment :) You make me smile, like during your whole stay as ... we loved your ' smart and funny touch' as well as your other fellows during this week. Thank you for the true smile but when we are welcoming such a charming gentleman it is a pleasure for us too ! For the luggages and the 3 stairs ... I confess I have training every saturday and I am happy to help my clients especially when they're as adorable as you! For the food and beverages, Ihuge THANK from the kitchen team, I am sure they will be delighted to know you appreciated it so much. I take into account your comment regarding a selection of wine with a more afordable price for our epicureans who want to treat themselves every night. I hope you are in good health as confined as us and I would be bery happy to welcome you and your friends the next season ! Up until then, take care of you, keep the same nice spirit and STAY HOME !

The perfect stay in one of the hotel’s cocoon rooms with a veranda which was cosy, had a great view of the slopes and was decorated fantastically. The bar and restaurant was outstanding and excellent - fantastic food throughout the week. The staff were very helpful and always willing to answer any questions, they were faultless and made our stay even better. We will be returning next year for sure. 10/10

We stayed at this hotel for a weeks skiing in Jan 23 having booked through Crystal Ski on a B&B basis. The hotel is thoroughly recommended, from the moment we arrived all of the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 306 (bottom floor) which had a view over the slopes and was extremely quiet. Large bathroom, drench shower and loads of hot water - all essentials for post skiing! The room was nice and comfortable with lots of storage space for ski gear. The hotel has a separate ski storage room and boot room just by reception. It’s very close to the lift pass office and a short walk to the slopes. We ate out every night (there are loads of places to go) and can thoroughly recommend Cafe Peclets (100m from the hotel) which was our favourite place ( we went three times) ; booking is essential though. The hotel breakfast was good as well with a wide variety of choice - once again, no complaints at all. I’ve seen previous reviewers comment on the stairs and yes they are tiring but not a big problem - as an example of the attitude of the staff, one of the cleaning colleagues saw me taking my large ski bag upstairs when we were leaving and helped straight away. We travel a fair amount, would return without hesitation and this hotel is thoroughly recommended. People can also be quick to criticise Crystal Ski (TUI) but we’ve travelled with them a lot for skiing and have always had a good experience.

This hotel is located in a wonderful location easily accessible to ski slopes and the city. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a small spa and one must sign in for 45 minute sessions. The spa has no water or tea available to drink and the jacuzzi is always spilling over and no one to maintain it. The reception is friendly and try to be helpful. We ordered a breakfast bag since we had an early flight and we were asked if we want a baguette or bread. We asked for baguette and got the bread. We chose had half board and the breakfasts were standard without preparing individual eggs and automatics coffee machine. We asked for veggies for breakfast and we received cut up tomato and cucumber every breakfast. There were two seatings at 7 pm or eight thirty. Only we were only seated after nine five out of six dinners. The food was hit or miss. The first course especially the soups were excellent but the main course was in edible three out of six meals, especially the local dishes were awful. We tried different choices but still unsuccessful. The desserts especially the ice cream were tasty and large variety !! There were two waitresses that went above and beyond to serve the customer but they were so busy and the other waiters had no idea what they were supposed to . With a few managerial changes and maybe an elevator this place would be perfect.

Thank you to share your feeling about your stay with the TA community and I am glad you like the room and the location of the hotel. I would like however to reply to you regarding few points. For the SPA, it is true that we do not place any tea facility. Initially we offered a homemade ice tea but with the heat, the fruits and spices were not so agreeable so we stopped. However, you can find glasses and water in the spa and I am surprised you did not see it during the whole week as you reserved it every day. Regarding the jacuzzi, well … it is like a swimming pool, people are ‘using’ them and it is ‘normal’ to my humble opinion that it is spilling over. We are cleaning the spa 3 times a day so I do not know how and what you would think we could have done to maintain this area better. Regarding the take away breakfast, I am sorry again that you did not appreciate again this ‘service’ we are happy to offer to your guests for theirearly departure. I have to precise that you requested for a baguette and unfortunately the option is bread and I told you we gonna try (again to pleased you) but it would depend of the baguettes left at night because the baker does not do delivery during the night unfortunately for you. Regarding the seating, once again I have to precise that you were a group of 7 friends/family who always wanted to have diner late (from 8pm30). You have always been sitting at 8pm 45 and not after 9pm as you say so, so 10/15 minutes after the second service and I do apology for the delay of 15 minutes but it is also true that the restaurant is victim of its own success and the end of the season is like February surprisingly … very busy. So, we try to welcome all reservations meanwhile having an efficient service. You mentioned it with the F&B manager, with the ‘suggestion’ of ‘few managing changes’ that unfortunately it is difficult to implement. Open the restaurant at 6pm/6pm30 to other guests to please you was not an option to us, as the other guests were not willing to have dinner at this time. I can see you are a very ‘demanding’ person, which is great of course but we have been doing all that we could every day to make your stay the most enjoyable possible even you have been sometimes rude with the team. I am sorry you did not like either the food made by our Chef, who tried every day to please you as well, asking what could we propose for you to be happy. I can see also that, according to all the comments you posted on TA, there are not so many places you like. So, I wish you to find more places to enjoy life with your family and friends as an epicurean you seem to be.

This was my second stay in 3 Vallees. This is a medium size boutique hotel and excels in quality customer service. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. The Managing Director, Delphine and the Bar and Restaurant Manager Aurelie are wonderful hosts and ensure everything is run smoothly. The rooms are a good size and well equipped and cleaned and serviced daily. Restaurant and bar are small but entirely adequate for the size of the hotel. I should say that they ran much better when Aurelie was there. Fantastic location, 25 yards to ski and right in the heart of the village. Boot warmer off reception and ski locker downstairs, I can’t fault this hotel, I love it and the staff are so professional and friendly. I should also say thanks to Esme in the bar, she looked after us all week and treated us to some interesting drinks! Can’t wait to come back.

When you leave the hotel take a right turn and there is access to the slopes approximately 20-30 meters from the Hotel. In Jan/Feb and even March you can pop on your skis and ski down to the slopes, late march sometimes you have to walk a further 50 metres. We returned from our trip on 8th April, longest walk took us 3-5 minutes. Regards
