Super friendly hotel, we were always received very friendly and served very quickly. The food was really delicious and if the choice offered was not to your liking, the kitchen made every effort to present something else. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The decor was not very modern, but this added to the homely atmosphere and did not bother us. We were taken to the slopes every day by the owner in a van at no extra cost, which was a great comfort. In the return we could ski up to 100m from the hotel. A recommended hotel with a family atmosphere and top staff!

A hotel like I love them. Certainly a little aging, but the location, the easy parking, owners with little care and kindness, a large terrace, nice swimming pool in the summer, all quiet in the heart of the village, generous and varied breakfast make quickly forget the shower curtain that sticks and period carpeting. Cool atmosphere, enough to make a real good break. I recommend.

Got Ben’s shuttle bus from Grenoble airport, we were dropped of at “Point Info,” the first stop in Les Deux Alpe. Hotel Adret was easy to find and only a short walk. Unique in design, traditional decor, “not a modern plastic fantastic.” We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts and their staff, they really couldn’t do enough for you. Like all hotels they are in constant use and, therefore, there are always things that need doing. However, because of the service, cleanliness and quality of the food, these made no difference. From a skiing point of view, what a perfect place, loads of runs, plenty of lift and the hotel runs a shuttle service to the lifts, if needed. Very near to the hotel, two minutes walk, there an easy run that takes you to the bottom of the village, where’s there’s a lift, which takes you to a green run that you can the ski to the main lifts in the centre. I recommend the hotel, it’s location and the resort. We had a perfect holiday.

Nice family run hotel, good French food (although more to adults taste than young adults/children). A bit tired and the pool was not fit for purpose. Swimming pool was green - which was a shame as we chose the hotel because it had a pool in case we couldn't ski any day (which happened). Good location for slopes although not so great if you want to experience the town's night life as it's right at the edge of the village. Breakfast was traditional continental.

Very warm welcome and very kind. The whole team answered our questions. The rooms are clean and there is enough room in the wardrobes. Attention there is no food service during the summer but very good restaurants are located 2 steps from the hotel. Breakfast is excellent and served in a pleasant setting.

This hotel is totally brilliant largely due to the two lovely owners who just can’t do enough for you. The list of how they helped make our holiday the best is endless but includes a lift to the ski hire shop and ski lifts every day, ringing up ski school for us, getting my wife an ice pack for her knee and providing vegetarian food.
Add to this excellent food, free parking, a swimming pool, sauna and comfy lounge. We (2 adults and our 2 children 12 and 18) were guests for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year and had the best holiday ever. We will be back for certain.

Room with balcony, warm (wood). Aging but decent bathroom. Separate toilet.
Extra breakfast.
And what about half board, if not excellent, varied: choice 2 starters, 2 courses, cheese and dessert 😋.
Staff smiling and very pleasant, like Mrs M Faure, very careful
Free parking.
Near runway, and center.
Shuttle to get you to the slopes.

Adret Hotel
Fabulous Food Friendly Staff,
Our first overwhelming impression of this hotel was the helpfulness of the family team, 2 generations serve you on reception, in the bar and in the restarant. The rooms are simple French Alpine white, very clean and basic, old TV, not the most luxurious bathroom in the world and a shower that runs off the taps. The leisure facilities are small and free, swimming pool with glass top bit of a child nightmare and a very small two-person sauna. Good location at beginning of the resort, quiet, the small 75yd uphill walk at end of day can be bit tiring.
The food is unbelievable, we saw the New Year in at L’Adret and the young Chef served us 8 unbelievable courses:
A cold tomato soup, Saint Sylvestre, followed by the most amazing Blaze of Fresh Lobster with Cognac .
Panfried Foie gras or Trio of Salmon both were visually attractive and so flavoursome.
Duck fillets with sautéed potatos. Then a trou Normand, ice calvados.
The best selection of local cheese I have ever tasted
And then a tiramisu of the New Year.
I have eaten at Mossiman, Michel Roux and regularly at Wentworth, this food is better, presentation is immaculate on Villeroy Bosch plates with fine silver cutlery.
The food was so good that I looked forward to the next dinner. The single most important thing was the use of top quality local produce, cheese and local meat. The evening’s menu is displayed in the morning by the front door, if you did not like the choices you could opt for a fondue or alternative. We had great steak, amazing fondue and fabulous chicken. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced all the staff are attentive without being overly so. The comfortable unpretentious design of the restaurant made it comfortable for us to enjoy our meals with our two children.
Breakfast is clean well presented buffet with cheese, ham, yoghurts, eggs, breads and selection of croissants. No Lunch service or bar food.
There is a small play area off the bar, which amused our three year old and 12 year old.
The Pros – fantastic food and quality wine. They have a little minibus to run you to the slopes in the morning with the kids. The Overall service. Value for money.
The Cons- Dinner is not served until 7.45pm, food could be too gourmet for English kids, but if you ask in advance they will do fondue or frites for children.
The ski-ing at this resort varied, frequent free buses operate to the various lift stations. Vast choice of restaurants and bars.

"Noise was not a problem, the room we stayed was without a balcony but still with great views, I would recommend staying on one of the top floors, as there is a lift for easy access and better views of the scenery in the area, I would recommend a poolside view."Read full review
