Detailed Reviews
This chalet is in a brilliant location where you can get to the Alp Express ski lift in seconds which takes you to the central station for access to all other lifts- you can also walk easily into the town. The chalet itself has a great wellness area including a sauna, steam room and hot tub which is much needed after a day of skiing. Being part of a party of eight, I thought that it would be difficult to accommodate us all together for dinner but it wasn’t a problem at all and there were plenty of places for us to sit together in the bar too. A great breakfast selection and three course evening meal was available every day, and the food was really tasty. The rooms were small but comfortable and included everything you needed including towels and a hairdryer. The staff were absolutely lovely and I would definitely book to come here again!

Our first stay but hope to return again next year. The location was ideal to get to both of the main ski areas. The facilities for a "chalet" style operation were excellent and next time we would make more use of the indoor and outdoor hot tubs and steam room/sauna. The crowning glory of Hotel Escapade was the conscientious, helpful and friendly staff team led by Faye. A young team who took their roles seriously and were a delight with residents of all ages. Food was good, wine flowed and the breakfasts couldn't fail to get you off to a good start each day. A relaxed friendly atmosphere with comfortable lounge areas and well stocked bar.

We returned to the hotel Escapade for the second time. It’s a friendly, small cosy hotel. Great location where you can ski to the lift, which takes you to Bergers and Huez. Lovely food and afternoon tea. Day and her team cannot do enough to make your stay great.
The free flowing wine with dinner is also a bonus.... red, white or rose!!
Rooms are small and basic, but very clean and checked daily, perfect for a week on the slopes. The Spa facilities which includes sauna, steam room and 2 x hot tubs are great for a relax at the end of the day and the heated boot room is ideal.
Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Escapade! The staff were very friendly and super helpful when we had an issue with the lock on our door. It was fixed straight away.
The room was small but had plenty of space for the two of us. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfy. We had an amazing view of the mountains.
We didn’t end up using the sauna or steam room in the wellness area, though it was a shame the hot tub was out of use.
The location couldn’t be better with the Alpe Express just next door that you can ski over to to get to the main slopes. It is also close to many bars and restaurants.
Breakfast was fantastic and offered a great variety of foods.
We would definitely stay here again if we return!

Pros: Perfect location, helpful staff. Had a great week here
Rooms were spacious and we had one with a bath, also had built in chromecast on the tv which was great
Walk out directly to the cable car, or a tiny bit further to the telecabine so all in all pretty good. Also bang opposite the underground bar
Cons: Could do with a lift!!

+1
Stayed here from the 4/2/23 - 11/2/23, room only, staff very friendly and the room was big enough for 2 people. Excellent location for the slopes, bars and restaurants. The only complaint I have is that the hot tubs were not in action, in fact they weren’t filled up with water, this would have been ideal after a long day on the slopes to use. Overall an excellent ski holiday.👍

Room Tip: Most restaurants didn’t open till 18.00 to 19.00 to eat and it’s ideal to book in advance.

We had a fabulous time at the Escapade! The staff went the extra mile to ensure quests were well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Much appreciated thanks!
Hotel location and aspect are perfect with gondola just across the way, so ski in and out. We loved our view from the balcony and enjoyed sunshine till 6pm. Good was tasty and plentiful.
We also really enjoyed the guides skis with cookie. Highly recommend! I
The only downside were the lift queues.
We want to rebook but sadly no flights from Glasgow next year. 😣 Nelson please add some!

Location of this chalet hotel is perfect. The accommodation is great, staff very friendly and helpful. Food, bedrooms and bathrooms all great. Faye (manager) and her team work well together to provide a flawless service.
Added bonus of Neilson ski guiding/ESF instruction, which was brilliant. Cookie is an excellent, patient instructor.

Fantastic location… next to the lifts, great apres-ski terrace next door and the brilliant Underground Bar opposite. Fabrice and his team looked after us brilliantly and made us all very welcome. Hotel is quaint rather than luxurious but was perfect for 18 skiers who wanted to party! Thank you.

Either is ok, you can get a lift to either, I would say the new lift to bergers is probably the easiest though.
Yes they do, in the bathroom one of those ones in the wall
Hi Vikki. No I rcvd no response so just booked from a place that looked relatively close. Going on 3rd March so guess I’ll find out then!
Hi, we used inter sport and booked through Neilson. It's about 10 min walk from the hotel right by the slopes, so good for returning on the last day. Take your credit card with you as they use it as a deposit, however Neilson failed to tell use this, so had to make 2 trips.
