As always the owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are simple, reasonably comfortable if not lacking a little in size but offer fantastic views.
Breakfast is simple but adequate. Overall a lovely relaxed vibe, English speaking in the perfect location at the top of the Alp.
Bar in the first floor so Some noise can occur.
Went with Nortlander and everything Was well organized.
However, we couldn't fault the pre departure communication and advice on ski rentals, restaurants and how accommodating the management team were to all our meal requirements.
True to their word, a full refund was swiftly received and we wish the team a busy season now the restrictions have eased. They deserve it!
In addition, the service in the restaurant was not properly clean with food residue on the plates and coffee residue in the cups.
The room was small and very noisy, so remember earplugs (there is a bar in the basement which plays loud music all night).
There are not enough places for everyone to store their ski boots, so we had to warm the boots in the small room!
The staff appeared arrogant and unhelpful.
The only positives were a surprisingly good three-course dinner and an ok location relatively close to a pist.
In short, we came here as a family to accompany Alanis Siffert, winner of the 2024 edition. In view of the rooms and the state of the hotel, we immediately looked for a plan B so that Alanis could be well for his race.
Triathletes and other passing tourists: clearly flee! The manager didn’t even bother to go and talk to us for a few minutes. We had paid a deposit of 330 EUROS which we completely lost.
Fortunately, this establishment does not represent the nice welcome of the resort and the hotel of the Polar Bear who offered us a family room.
This is no longer an active hotel.
pharmacy visits and local stores.
Rooms were all spacious with beautiful balcony views and very clean.
I will definitely come back. Food was excellent, and I cannot say enough how welcoming and friendly the entire staff was!
They made the visit that much better!
The dinners Chef Rich and Jo served were incredible & Michelin star worthy. The presentation, innovation and taste were absolutely top shelf.
Can’t wait to come back next year!
