Detailed Reviews
I have recently returned from La Camigane with a number of my friends. I was looking for accommodation that would suit a large group of 14, and I wanted to find something for a reasonable price. This place is AMAZING, with the decor, cleanliness, location (walking distance to bars/restaurants), and most of all, the hospitality. Some of us stayed in the self-catering apartment, which was very spacious, clean and had super nice decor and appliances. The rest of the group stayed in the double bedrooms (also super lovely). Ainsley went over and above to accommodate us all. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family and will be back for sure. Thank you, Ainsley and her staff, for our fantastic stay. I really appreciate it!

Ainsley and Stefane were incredible hosts from picking us up from the drop off location to always being available should they be needed. The rooms were spacious and homely as well as serviced daily. As a family of 5, we hand plenty of room and the breakfast was brilliant. We didn’t use the balcony much but it had stunning views from the rooms.
The staff were all great but a special mention to Alexandra for making the best cocktails, for being so caring and making our children feel extra special!
The giant sized hot tub and sauna were great and available from 4ish until late - it was rarely busy so it was great to relax in. The boot room was easily accessible and the nearest piste only 50m down the road. The lift made life easier and the whole place was secure due to code access. The main centre is about 5/10 minutes walk up hill and we would highly recommend booking restaurants in advance during busy periods.
Overall, we will return at some stage when we next visit Alpe D’Huez.

I stayed in Chalet Le Camigane with a large group of friends. The place was warm, clean and had everything we needed. Ainsley was an amazing host and went out of her way on a daily basis to make our experience hassle free. She rang around different restaurants to find a place that could accommodate 14 people. She also helped us to organise takeaway food for the lazier evenings. One night, she saw us walking back to the chalet, recognised us and brought us back in her car. Enough about Ainsley - suffice to say, she's great as was Emily in the bar who answered our numerous questions! The ski rental shops are nearby as are pubs, restaurants and the ski lift. The chalet was a lovely home for a few days and I would highly recommend it.

14 of us stayed with Ainsley during our ski holiday early January and I would highly recommend you check this place out. Ainsley and Emily (in the bar) gave great advice regarding restaurants and bars to visit when not on the slopes and booked many of these for us. There is a nice bar on site which is ideal when you fancy a chill evening by the hot tub. There is a ski lift right by the house which takes you to Signal Mountain which is another added bonus.

Stayed for a week with a cycling group to ride beautiful and challenging tours of the local routes and passages. Our host Ainsley and her crew provided the very best possible environment for tired and hungry cyclists to rest, recover and replenish. No aspect of our stay was lacking or compromised. Fresh food, incredibly comfortable beds, large hot tub, inviting communal spaces, sunny decks, views and plenty of privacy are provided. This chalet is walking distance to grocery, restaurants, post office, shopping, hiking and biking trails, etc. No need to go out for the best coffee or cocktails either! Having experience in private lodging and hospitality, I know the attention to detail, hard work and thoughtfulness it takes to provide the top notch accomodations I enjoyed at Camigane. Ainsley and her crew nail it start to finish. I cannot wait to return!

Cannot say enough good things about Chalet Le Camigane! Ainsley & her staff are the most accommodating, thoughtful hosts. They were so helpful & gracious in answering our constant inquiries about the village, restaurants and anything ski related. Loved the common area, free breakfast and hot tub. Views are spectacular & location is perfect- walking distance from awesome bars and restaurants, public transportation and is right next to a chair lift. The place is clean & comfortable! Will definitely be back.

Just got back from a couples new year trip here and it was fabulous. Ainsley, the host, could not do enough for us and was so accommodating! From arranging breakfast to be delivered to reserving us areas in the bar where we could all relax. The spa is perfect after a long day of skiing with high quality facilities and the accommodation (apartment for 8-10 people) was fantastic. Clean with all of the facilities you could need. Absolutely recommend!!

I have just got home after staying here from 2nd to 9th September. What an AMAZING place. Lovely breakfast in the morning served by Ainsley and her team, and such a laid back atmosphere. Everybody felt at ease
The rooms were clean and tidy with kettle and TV provided as well as comfy beds and pillows.
The views from the balcony overlooking the mountains was spectacular to wake up to and the terrace to enjoy an afternoon beer with friends was also a real bonus. There is also a huge hot tub to relax in after the long ride up the bends as well as a sauna room. There really wasn't a single thing I can think to mention as a negative.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Le Camigane, spectacular views, wonderful food and hospitality from Ainsley and her team. We were there for La Marmotte granfondo cycling event and everything we needed was laid on. I’ve spent time living in France and Ainsley’s coffee is the best I’ve ever had over there!
