Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been going there several times to eat in the evening and we are always very well received. The welcome, the service, the wine, the meal...everything is perfect! Rare to find a place like this with the little decorative touch of skiing... and a great location! go for it...be careful it's always full! normal....😉

This is a great hotel as a base camp if you are competing in the famous Alpe d'huez Triathlon. It's just outside of the centre. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, allowing us to spread out with the kit we have. Also they have safe storage for bikes. There are also some good places to eat nearby. We haven't had breakfast at the hotel, but it did look good.

Le Dome is excellent. Close to lifts, excellent service, very friendly, good food. Could use a bigger boot room, and a boot warmer. Highly recommend you visit Lily and her team.

Very comfortable hotel (bedding, room); hearty restaurant (I did not try the very very hearty half-board). Beautiful wine list at very reasonable prices given the quality compared to city restaurants. Ideal location for the slopes, close to the DMC. Very friendly staff. Family atmosphere.

Warm hotel very well located (at the bottom of the slopes). The owners are very welcoming and caring. We had a great stay! The restaurant is also great (special mention for the Savoyard fondue which is incredible 😻).
The hotel also has covered parking.
Thank you for your welcome !!

We originally booked to stay at Hotel Les Grandes Rousses, but due to their ineptitude, they double booked us and we were transfered to Hotel le Dome for 1 night.

The staff were friendly and professional, and although the decor throughout the hotel is dated, the room and bathroom were clean, the beds comfy, and the room was peaceful and relaxing to sleep in.

Skiing access was not as convinent as Hotel Les Grandes Rousses, and the room was a bit smaller, but the dining experience more than made up for it. Breakfast at le Dome was very nice with fresh pasteries and a good selection of juices and cereals.

Diner was brilliant, with fresh fish, beautiful, thick and tasty soup, and were friendly staff. We just wish we could have stayed here rather than going back to the hotel we had actually booked!

Can't understand why everyone is advising this is a great place to stay? From the minute we arrived we received nothing but attitude from the owner. We specifically contacted them prior to arrival to request we would receive dinner and advised them that our bus was stuck in traffic and we would be late yet when we arrived the owner denied all knowledge of our correspondence. The room was very basic but a decent size (could do with a bit of upgrading). On day 3 the woman "told me off" as apparently I had refused the cleaners entry in to our room. Rooms do not need cleaned every day! The breakfast is the same as all other hotels and dinner was ok. The ski room is a very smelly small room which is locked and unlocked from reception so tough luck if there is no-one at reception and it is extremely annoying when the door closes and locks every time you go in and out. The only good thing about this hotel is the location as it is right beside the slopes.
