Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked this chalet based on its location, rooms/En Suites and price for a group of 4 couples.
Location:
Whilst the maps on all the sites listing this Chalet (booking.com, Odalys, Gites.fr etc) incorrectly show it as being in the centre of the town, a little research with google earth (and its very helpful street view) showed this was not the case. But a quick text & e-mail later, which were quickly responded to by the ‘in resort’ property agent, gave us the correct location which is just on the edge of the town (conveniently just 100yds from the Ski Bus stop where Bens Buses were able to drop us off when we arrived).
Whilst the location was not as advertise, and booked for, in event it turned out to be great with unsurpassed (and uninterrupted) views of the valley and mountains and 100 yds from the bus stop with an added advantage of being one of the first stops on the ski bus route so always guaranteed of a seat. Also, if the location was as shown on the web sites it would have meant having to trek in ski boots etc for several hundred meters so we weren’t complaining especially as the free buses run until 2345hrs – maximum skiing, minimum walking

Property:
We chose the property as we needed a minimum of 4 bedrooms with en suites for our group and, given the price of the property our expectations set accordingly however, we found the property spacious, well equipped (we made use of both the spa and the sauna), clean and welcoming. We were aware of the additional charges for bedding and towels and planned accordingly with cheap towels from the super market and their bedding.
Due to the heavy snow fall the bus from the airport was late arriving but we had good communication from the local property agent and he had left a key for us so we could get straight in with a follow up call from him to make sure everything was OK for us. Whilst we didn’t use the ‘loft beds’ I can appreciate some of the comment left by other reviewers regarding their ease of access.
We opted for the ‘self-clean’ when we left, which given the number of us didn’t take very long, and found that the local property agent was quite thorough in his inspection to ensure that the property was clean for the next guests.

Would we book this property again: the answer is simply yes!
Whilst there are other properties available which are ‘closer to the action’ or more luxurious, when you take into consideration the price, the amazing views, the ease of access to the free transport and the fact that all rooms have en-suites this property is a very good option.
