It's very mixed and I always find it difficult to leave a bad review out of respect for the hard-working staff.
Very nice surprise upon arrival in our Kasaï number 215, top decor, 3 flat screens, spacious bathroom.... Great terrace, paradise… but you have to put up with the noise of the club during the day and especially at night with constant and loud bass all night long without interruption, unbearable… So a change was requested and it was possible but in a more basic Kasai inside the caravan, it stings a little because we have the impression of being cheated because the installation is completely inferior, not classy, narrow and aging ... but we slept... for the price it's not what we would have chosen.
The setting is nice, it's quite well maintained despite sometimes dilapidated facilities like the gym... you can't train but the equipment is outdated and remember to leave 5 Euros to access the room... surprising but that's not ultimately didn't bother me because it filters out the kids who come and do anything in the room (lived a few years ago in the same place)
The restaurant and swimming pool area is very clean and in a very holiday atmosphere, quite nice.. facilities for young and old are quite good.
Pool too small and very few deckchairs compared to the number of people at the place, pool very very cloudy and I think limited in terms of hygiene, very cloudy... frankly filthy. We must force people to shower before swimming and restrict swimming shorts.
In short, a pleasant place at the foot of a great beach, guaranteed holiday atmosphere... not really calm and check the location of your Kasaï carefully if the noise bothers you to sleep...
The staff welcomed us quite well, more professional than friendly but it gets the job done..

The site is magnificent. However, the swimming pool is much too small and the thirty deckchairs cannot satisfy all the numerous tourists. The accommodation is correct, pay attention to the location of your bungalow (especially the noise). The Spa treatments are Top, I recommend.

We (2 adults) lived in the new Kasai Garden. Lots of light: Great outdoor area to relax. The cottage has 29 sqm, it is a bit narrow but everything available. The beach is about 3 min. Small, very well stocked supermarket with acceptable prices. The Plage Pampelonne is probably the most beautiful on the Cote d'Azur. A hot spot. One should know that the beach clubs are quite noisy in the afternoon. Only until 8 p.m., though. But you can avoid it a bit, as the beach is very extensive. If you have a cabin near the club (Shellona) you are out of luck. Unlike other evaluators: At night it was totally quiet on the site, and we could sleep very well! Little shade: very poor TV for German-language channels. No ARD or ZDF. Only RTL/VOX channels in all variations, 3Sat, ZDFinfo. To make matters worse, the few stations were temporarily unavailable at all. During the European Football Championship very annoying. Food on site is very expensive, but good (pizza at Café Flora, about 25 euros). Conclusion: We felt very comfortable and will come back. The property is very well maintained and has a relaxing and calming effect.

Ideal location to spend time with family in complete relaxation… but outside of peak season!
At the very end of August 2022, we had the Kasai loft with one floor and summer kitchen on the roof 2 rows from the beach. The comfort was great despite a slight refresh needed (sofa in poor condition), we had a great stay and the staff were pleasant.
In August 2023, we decided to come back with friends and their children and everything went wrong from the moment of booking, the deposits were allocated to the wrong family, one of the reservations was canceled the day before for non-payment even though everything was fixed 6 months ago! Our kasai beach was not ready when we arrived and when I expressed my displeasure because our daughter was sick, the girl told me “it’s not my problem”. Midway through our stay we moved to a Kasai loft with a rooftop jacuzzi and our stay improved. In fact, the concierge service on which these accommodations depend is much more efficient than the reception.
The fact remains that the supermarket is quite poorly served, and if you ask why, the manager tells you that the restocking takes place on Thursdays and arrivals on the weekend and that after that it is empty and that it is It’s like that!!!
As for the gym, the teacher was great and we attended many classes.
On the spa side, the beautician disappeared in the middle of August and we were advised to go to the neighboring tiki spa.
Given the budget proposed in high season, we will not recommend this establishment because the services and services are not up to par. Too bad because there is real potential but as is often the case on the Côte d'Azur, seasonal workers see you more as a wallet than as a human being!!!

The green setting and the location on the beautiful beach of Pampelonne
The negative
Extremely noisy due to surrounding beach bars
Nothing is accomplished: you have to pay for the deckchairs and carry them yourself to the beach, for example. In front of the swimming pool, dozens of shoes and no lockers, it’s dirty
No atmosphere
For teenagers the activities are very average and not up to our expectations
And above all, bring cash! The money dispenser is well placed! The slightest extra can be paid in cash!
Catastrophic breakfasts even if booked in advance
At 500 euros per night we are far from the mark for a mobile home that is quite basic and poorly equipped.
We are quite disappointed by the services and for us the value for money is really very unbalanced!
We do not recommend

We booked a Kasai Premium 2 bedroom and our Kasai was anything but premium. We were extremely disappointed with the Kasai itself but particularly with the cleanliness.
Indeed, when we arrived, it was really not clean:
- dirty switch - brown marks on the kitchen splashback - dirty bathroom floor - dirty remote control - trace of brown liquid on the walls of the rooms - terrace not swept and tables not cleaned (traces of grease) - musty and damp smells in one of the rooms - crushed mosquitoes stuck on the walls
In addition, we had paid more and preferred a Kasai Premium to have a higher standard Mobilhomme, except it was nothing of the sort since it was similar to a simple Kasai.
This is not the first time we have come to the Golden Fleece, and we have always had some disappointments with the quality and cleanliness of the Kasais.
I would also add that in the description of the ad it was indicated that we had a hair dryer, but we did not have it, we had to ask for it.
An experience which was very disappointing for us in terms of accommodation.
For the rest, the campsite is very well located just a few steps from the beach and the services (Flora café, swimming pool etc.) are impeccable.
I would also like to point out that when we contact the concierge for the slightest problem, they are very responsive to provide us with a solution quickly or come to help us out.

We spent a perfect week in this great resort with our two teenagers. Our Kasai, almost on the beach, won us over. Great facilities, spacious terrace, beautiful furnishings and very well-kept, tropical surroundings. The whole resort is beautifully designed down to the smallest detail and has a large pool. We didn't use it though. The beautiful azure sea and the clean beach are just too perfect. At the end of September it is probably quieter in terms of music. And yet there is still something going on. Which we were happy about. We would definitely like to come back. Hopefully in a Kasai right on the sea.

We stayed as a family for 12 days in the Toison d'or and it was just perfect! From our Kasai it was less than 3 minutes to the wonderful beach of Pamplonne. The beach itself is easily 20 meters deep and the water is crystal clear and turquoise blue. We didn't find the music from the beach bars disturbing, but rather enriching. The music doesn't start until around 4 p.m. and stops again in the early evening around 8 p.m., so it doesn't affect your sleep in any way. The Café Flora offers excellent cuisine and there are other restaurants right next door in the Kon Tiki. It was a maximum of 10 minutes by car to St. Tropez. In St. Tropez just head straight for the large parking lot by the harbor and walk into the old town in a few minutes. All in all, a thoroughly successful vacation on a truly dream beach.

The location is great! Located right on the beach between the trendy beach bars, this resort scores with great bungalows, a fitness area, restaurants, a shop and a good offer for children!
The bungalow was great, 2 sleeping areas, a kitchen, very large terrace with lounge furniture and dining area! Wonderful!
The car parks right in front and the breakfast selection is great! Freshly squeezed juices, cheese, ham, salami etc. everything was great.
Conclusion: Absolutely great for families and for vacationers on the Côte d'Azur. Great starting point for St. Tropez too! Highly recommended!

We went to La Toison D'Or because we could drive there (not much fun these days flying), have our own cabin, have a bit of luxury and have the sea nearby. We went for the more luxurious cabins (alas the ones with the jacuzzi were already booked). Okay don't expect 5-star luxury but the cabin was nice enough, somewhat secluded and includes roof terrace to hang out on. The cabin also came with a washer and dryer (which we didn't use) and a small kitchen. You get a set of towels (and we did "splash" out on an additional set of fresh towels) and with the luxury option the beds are made when you arrive and cleaning after you check out is included.
Apart from some minor issues with the cabin, the lock was broken and we did have a problem with ants, we were very pleased with it. The other nice thing is that you get a parking space in front of your cabin so you don't have to drag your luggage across the place and leave your car somewhere you can't see.
The pool is nice, albeit small, and the morning aqua gym is fun (and lets you get rid of some of those extra holiday calories). The spa is also something to recommend as is the gym. And of course there is the beach which is clean and there seem to be enough sun chairs.
The park also has some restaurants and a super market (of sorts). Of course the super market is a bit overpriced. The crêperie is nice and serves some basic food. If you want to order pizza then please make sure you put in your order early enough (as in before 17:00) because they don't appear to be able to prepare them on demand.
Overall this place is great to go to with kids. Another plus is that the clubs around the place stop playing loud music early enough so they won't keep you (and/or your kids) up all night.
An added bonus for Tesla drivers (and probably other EV owners), the park has three destination chargers so you can top off for free (although some times the sports were ICEd).
