Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasant room with large bed. The premises are clean. The size of the bathrooms is ok. The rooms have all the necessary comfort (extra pillows, desk with chair, hangers, TV, mirror, soap near the sink and in the shower, if comfort pack: coffee machine with capsules).
Small downsides: the mattress protector is not the size of the mattress so is quite annoying, which is not common when you go to a hotel, where you expect the sheets to be perfectly taut. Likewise, the duvet was way too small for two people and was about the length of the base mattress! Also, the code to enter the hotel did not work and the parking lot is not secure. Finally, the rooms are poorly soundproofed (but that is expected for these prices).

This hotel is not intended to be top of the range. But for the price, it is excellent. It is VERY clean, the rooms are comfortable (not huge - just enough room to squeeze around the bed to get in at the far side) and the bathroom is fine. The aircon worked very well on an extremely hot day/night. Breakfast was given out individually in takeaway bags, due to the Covid19 situation, so although there was a wait of up to 5 minutes for this service, it was handled well and was the best they could achieve at the time. The lift to all floors worked well and the entrance area was clean and tidy. The reception desk staff were absolutely brilliant - they even took our small 'freezer blocks' and re-froze them overnight so that our cool bag could stay cool during the next day's trip. Parking is plentiful. For the price and category, this is a very good hotel.

Like other B&B hotels we have stayed at, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was adequate though fairly small. Very clean and modern. Perfect for an overnight stay. Breakfast was satisfactory though lacked cold meats (ham, etc). Unfortunately no restaurant nearby but you can get a pizza or pre-cooked meal (eg. Chili con carne) at the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay ay B&B Niort.

Room a bit small for a couple, heating not adjustable, room temperature too high. Noisy carnpriche from a busy parking lot. The icing on the cake is the burning croissant which sets off the fire alarm in the morning when you wake up

Pension to escape! Room very small, old, dirty and poorly insulated. It is impossible to open a suitcase in the room due to its size. The Inn is not welcoming!
It’s a shame for a channel like this! I would not recommend this property at all!

Typical to no-frills hotels in Europe, this hotel is clean, rather small and fairly priced. Towels and plastic cups are pretty much the only amenities available. The bed was comfortable and the window was big enough (you know how come budget hotels do not even have windows). Breakfast was fine as well. Given the price I paid, I think it is of good value.

The only downside is that the hotel is located in the middle of a highway, which may be convenient for drivers but not for those who rely on public transport. There is a supermarket right next to the hotel for those who need groceries.

Stayed for one night on a Saturday, very noisy hotel, hardly slept.
The neighboir left his room every 20 minutes and doors slam shut if you don't hold them, this went on till 12:30. Since the hotel was almost empty, why sell adjoining rooms with no noise insulation?
Then fire alarm went off at 01:30, decided to brave the fire since nobody else evacuated, I assume it happens regularly with no balconies or other smoking facilities..
On top of that I got shafted on the price, €45 on the door, but had to pay €47, only to discover the same room was advertised on the website for €38!
I'll sleep in the car next time and save myself the agro and money!

Stayed here when travelling to the south of Spain from the UK. It's very clean, well looked after and comfortable. Pillows however were as hard as rock! The hotel is entirely (except am) autonomous. You can speak to a human but through an intercom and they are based in Paris. Make sure you have a reservation number as you will need tips to get your room key (a number) and entry code to the hotel. Didn't stay for breakfast so cant comment. There is a mac Donald's and a small eatery near by but you need a car for everything as the hotel is sat to the side of a lengthy dual carriageway which you can't cross by foot. Snacks are available from a machine but no hot beverages and no booze! Great for a 1 night stop but very much so on the outskirts.

Good stopover if on way back to ferry ports or on way further south. Good location . Restaurant adjacent which the hotel gives a 15% discount. A couple of good shops adjacent. Wine Shop, Boulangerie and over the road is a large Le Clerc. Large car park , friendly staff + take pets.

Easy reach of Motorway. Clean and comfortable.

Room a bit small. Good price

Cold unwelcoming hotel with no reception as we know it, just a hole in the wall to speak to, we arrived at around 20.45 to find everything closed, no food no drinks, felt like they doing us a favour serving us breakfast in the morning. Really I suppose it is what you expect in France ...... Cold unwelcoming, will never use the Hotel or France ever again.......O and bad to find.
