This is a somewhat unexciting hotel in the centre of Niort. An old hotel rebranded as Ibis Style, though we didn't see much "style". Located a few hundred metres to the main restaurant area which was useful. Rooms were clean and tidy enough. Buffet style breakfast was OK.

This is apparently a renovated hotel. Our room was very small especially for 2 adults with their luggage. The bathroom was ok. Breakfast is standard Ibis with as a special feature that you can bake yourself your pancake with a very good mixture

Welcome on arrival and small touches in the lobby (candy and tea/coffee available).
Unfortunately, it does not catch up with the state of the room: past decoration, bedding not top, cleaning to see again.
1 outlet worked in the room, 1 lamp also in it was very little lit. Forced to move the bed to plug in my charger.
The bathroom is in its juice and the cleaning is summary: traces of limestone visible for a while on the shower window and taps.
In the room, the decoration is of period.
In short, I did not feel comfortable there.
However, the breakfast was good and rather hearty. I could also see a very nice back garden.

You book like every year thinking that it will always be an IBIS only to discover on arrival that this is no longer the case... not too serious but surprising! The most serious thing is that we paid much more for our room than the price actually displayed. According to the hotelier "it is always more expensive via the reservation platforms", it is impossible to reimburse this 45 euros extra compared to the prices displayed. So who is the winner: Booking or the hotel? In any case I know the loser...

The welcome was perfect: they had anticipated our needs without prior request from us. We really feel welcome. All our questions have been answered appropriately, provided with great kindness. Spacious room. Very nice terrace! Thank you so much!

Great location, in the city center, right next to the beautiful large square of Niort: "The Breach Gardens." Very attentive welcome, good recommendations from the host lady for the restaurants right next door. Great choice of restaurants right around the square and delicious Ernest glacier. Breakfast very good, nice garden. Quiet Pension, well equipped for our child and baby.
