I don’t understand the good reviews. We found the place rather awful and depressing. Our room was very smelly. The room was on the second floor and there was no lift. Not great with heavy bags. No working airco in the rooms. The area is very depressing. Minimal Covid measures. I would not return.

Easy access from motorway, good secure parking, clean and well equipped rooms, pleasant English speaking staff, good breakfast choice. The hotel is close to a number of restaurants and only a 5 min drive to the Old Town which is lovely. They also take dogs and don't charge extra!!

Paid extra for larger double room for us as a couple but disappointed in size & facilities. Wifi didn't work in room, water pipes banging. One towel ... yes one .... for both for all purposes. Similar in only one small shampoo, one cup, glass, teabag, etc etc. Receptionist no help at all. Hadn't any English and didn't even know what was on offer for breakfast. Not very cheap either for what was on offer. Being adjacent to motorway only advantage

This hotel is great if you underway in France on the way to Bordeaux or la Rochelle. The rooms were clean and cool with airco. We had a nice recpetion and the staff was friendly. Parking was also fine.

Only stayed for a one night stopover and we were not disappointed. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were comfy.
