If the accommodation is of high quality (beautiful and large rooms, excellent bedding), pleasant surroundings and friendly staff, this hotel has the big flaw of not having food all weekend and this from Friday evening. I did not even imagine that it was possible for a 4* in the city and I was only warned when I arrived at the reception, after several hundred km of road and too late to look for another accommodation.
If there is certainly a restaurant offer at some distance on the Place de Niort, that joy where it rained and winded, I did not have the courage to come out and wanted to enjoy the room service. However, if the list of dishes displayed seemed almost enticing (despite the still high prices in room service), it was not applicable for the weekend with the restaurant closed. Only four proposals were eligible and so I had dinner with two small jars of gazpacho and pâté and cottage cheese for over 30€!!
Very disappointed with this stay despite the quality of this accommodation due to this lack of food on site which is one of my selection criteria when I travel.

Never heard before of Niort, I’d looked for a hotel that would be a base for a week while participating in a music festival in Thiré. As a veteran guest of Accor hotels, I decided to trust the good reviews and to make a reservation. What to say… at last a hotel that approaches all one’s anticipation. Large rooms (at least mine), sealed from noises, and very clean.
But the brilliant side is the stuff. The Chef of the front desk, Christophe and his team are so welcoming and heartily helping with every wish. Special kudos to the housekeeping staff! No faults.
The hotel area is vast and cosy. Many sitting areas inside and outside doors, and nice pool. Sometimes you feel at a spa and not in an urban hotel.
The hotel operates a restaurant, BoiZé. Excellent chef, tasty food that being served very esthetically in very reasonable prices.
So guys, I’ve enjoyed the wonderful Les Arts Florissants, and a very good experience with the hotel.
If you’re in the area, this is the place to stay.

Incredible staff members, head receptionist Christophe is adorable and helped much for quite everything.
Hotel is clean and smells nice! Rooms were ready upon arrival and Covid restrictions respected.
Nice hall with a direct access to the restaurant, swimming pool gym and spa.
Swimming pool isn’t heated but once in water who feels the cold??
Breakfast is decent and worth the money, eggs, sausage, and some regional bread and pastries that I recommend.
Rooms were super clean and they are big enough for 4 people.
Hotel is well situated not far from city center, leave the hotel turn right left and you’re in the city center of Niort.
Don’t forget to visit La Rochelle and Marais Poitvin.
Thanks to the staff and hotels management for this quality time we spent
We will be back :)

Restaurant near the hotel which allows you to take a break during work, breakfast ok (small cups for the dispenser), impeccable bedding and properly heated room. So I will come back as part of a future business trip to Niort. (why not the LCI channel on the TV package?)

This hotel provides excellent accommodation and services for the price I paid. The receptionists and restaurant staff were friendly, available and welcoming. The room was a good size, good deco, clean with a very comfy bed with crispy white linen. A/c (i.e heating as it was blisteringly cold outside) worked well. TV with multiple channels but very “parochially”, no international channels whatsoever and really disappointing from an Accor hotel chain.
I chose the hotel because of parking and the location and I was not disappointed as the hotel is 5 minutes from the Pl de La Brèche and has a large car park that doesn’t dominate the hotel setting - so you don’t need your car to visit central Niort.
The restaurant offered standard fare - I had dinner there twice for convenience as it was too cold out. Breakfast was a varied and plentiful buffet (no à la carte) as would be expected in a 3* chain hotel. There are good alternative restaurant options nearby or in the old town centre though. So you won’t be stuck.
All in all I am happy with my choice.

Stay more than satisfactory.
The staff are very attentive, the facilities are perfect for a good stay.
The calm of the establishment allows you to work or rest in the best conditions
The geographical location makes it very easy to discover Niort and its surroundings.
And what about the restaurant…. Fresh product, very generous breakfast.
Perfect stay!!! Thanks again !

We have occupied a superior room that deserves a serious refreshment. Scattered paint on several walls of the room, magnifying bathroom ice not to touch the risk of it falling, unstable toilet window and very noisy air conditioning (forced to turn it off to sleep). The hotel deserves an overall renovation (mismatched carpeting, aging paint). Disappointing for a Mercure hotel announced 4 stars.

The facilities are good and the restaurant has a good varied menu. The staff are helpful and pleasant and the location is ideal near the city centre. The staff were helpful and flexible when we arrived at lunchtime (long before check in time ) The hotel has good safe car parking

We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant. We were warned 3 days before that it would be closed for the whole weekend???
Forced to go out again after a 7 hour drive to find a restaurant.
We had asked if there was secure parking. We were told no so we paid for underground parking even though the hotel parking was private.
Reserved for 2 and bathroom equipped for 1 person (no towels)
Burnt out spotlights in the hallway and bathroom mirror (not easy to put on makeup in the morning).
Very complete breakfast
Very pleasant staff.

Here we are again in this Pension where everything went very well. Spacious and very well equipped room, full breakfast buffet, well-liked room service, swimming pool, sauna, gym the restaurant, bar and ample parking are up to expectations, but the most important thing about this Pension is its staff, very kind, helpful and caring for guests. Solene on top:) and her manager too nice. See you soon.
