I’m writing this reluctantly as this needs to be kept a secret!
A lovely warm welcome from one of the hosts of this charmingly elegant hotel. We’d booked one night in thé orangery, a little separate house from the main hotel, with its own private garden. Lovely spacious room with large walk in shower. Given guidance where to eat that night then a lovely breakfast in the garden. Well behaved dogs welcome. The two hosts then showed their truly wonderful selves! The battery on our van was flat so they leant us tools and also a workman at the property also leant us some. We called out road assistance who got us going but we had enjoyed staying here so much we were lucky enough to be able to stay an extra night ! Parking is extra as was breakfast but the quality of this hotel is well worth it. We’ve paid more and got a lot less than here! We will be back 😀

Large and beautiful room, facing a busy street but double-glazed... Excellent bedding
Popular breakfast buffet, particularly fresh fruit, bread, pancakes, brioche...
Just a little suggestion: Why not kiwis from France rather than New Zealand?
Pretty interior garden and terrace

This is a charming small hotel in a wonderful old building in the centre of Niort. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable and the staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a lovely library and small garden if you wish to sit and relax. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. There is secure parking but probably best to reserve this. I would certainly return and recommend if you're heading to Niort.

Deluxe Room (number 10) very cozy, welcoming, spacious and tastefully decorated.
Very courteous, warm and quick check in by the two hosts...
Very complete breakfast and good products.
A perfect stay: the bedding is comfortable and allows for restful sleep!
OK, one downside: if there had been a small bottle of water available in the room, it would have been a nice touch, for a moderate cost.

We have previously stayed in Niort in a simple roadside motel type chain just for convenience but finding La Chamoiserie on trip advisor proved that Niort can offer so much more than a bed near the motorway! The owners and staff of this boutique hotel were helpful and charming and made us feel very welcome. A big thank you to Luca ( reception ) for taking the time and trouble to give us personal advice on our next stay in Valencia! We had the wonderful Orangerie room which is a separate small building delightfully located at the end of the garden. It had all the space and comfort you could need with the added advantage of being completely private and with its own patio in the garden. We were given an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant which the owners did book for us and the breakfast that we had in the hotel the next morning was delicious. We were also very happy that we could have private secure car parking at this hotel for our large SUV which was completely loaded up for our journey. I cannot think of a single change I would make to this hotel and thought it was great value for money. We will be back!

Great little stopover in Niort. The hotel has been decorated with real style and there’s some lovely piece of furniture and art around the hotel. Our room was also really nicely finished and bed very comfortable.

The owners could not have done enough to make our stay enjoyable and gave us lots guidance with local area. Very well placed to walk to restaurants (5-10 min max).

Secure parking in rear courtyard gave peace of mind, as we were night stopping en-route from the Dordogne to get the ferry at Saint Malo with car loaded up.

Well definitely be back and highly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms at front do have some road noise, so rooms over internal courtyard may be quieter

This is a really lovely boutique hotel. Doesn't look that remarkable from the outside but inside its elegant, stylish and charming. Our room turned out to be a big room that was a tiny annexe in the pretty courtyard garden away from the main house. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the air-con super powerful. The breakfast is fine... but probably not worth the money. But the hotel is definitely worth the money. Definitely recommended.

We were three couples who stayed here en route to La Rochelle, with half the group cycling and half driving. A lovely welcome and nice cold beers for the cyclists. Our rooms were very large with excellent bathrooms. Although it was Fete de la Musique and the town was very crowded and noisy we didn't hear anything during the night. Safe parking and bike storage was good. Overall this is a lovely hotel, very good value in a nice town.

Had comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated adjoining, air-conditioned rooms with views toward inner court yard. Private parking available at extra cost. Wifi, iron and iron board, safe deposit box, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities in rooms at no extra charge. Breakfast was delicious, served with a smile either in a large room or in the garden. Staff and owners very helpful and friendly, provided good addresses for dining and local activities. We felt welcome and looked after. All in all we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay. Highly recommend this gem hotel without hesitation.
