I found this place through Gites de France. We had nog big expectations of Niort, but we had never been there. Turns out that Logis des Sevres is a really excellent chambre d'hotes in the heart of the lovely town of Niort.

Magnificent residence a stone's throw from the city center. The room was very spacious and perfectly clean. The perfect breakfast. And what about Cécile’s welcome? So warm that we thought we were arriving at a friend's house. Cécile also reserved an excellent restaurant for us.

We had a very friendly welcome from Cecile, the owner, who was lovely. The accommodation was great. Very stylishly done and perfect for families, with a separate bedroom for us and a comfortable sofa bed for the kids. Breakfast was delicious and Niort is a charming town. I wish we’d had longer to explore.

My wife and I just spent two wonderful days at the Logis de Sèvres. Perfectly situated to access the center of Niort, this property is exceptional. Renovated to perfection by our host, Cécile, the rooms are modern, tastefully decorated, and elegant. Breakfast was very good and served in the lovely dining area off the main entrance corridor. Best of all is Cécile. She is charming and accommodating; she made dinner reservations for us at a fine restaurant and arranged our boat tour of the Marais Poitevin. Because I am reticent about speaking in French on the phone, Cécile called on my behalf regarding the return of our rental car in Paris. The information she got for me was precise and wonderfully helpful. My wife and I have never had a finer experience in a chambre d'hôtes. If you are visiting Niort, you must stay at Cécile's Logis de Sèvres. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed here for just one night as a small stop on our way to Spain. Our host Cecile was really friendly and supportive. The B&B is excellent. It lies under the church with a nice quiet garden and good parking next to it. The place opened in 2017 and everything is well designed, clean with sitcoms. Absolutely a great place to stay, will certainly consider to come back.
