The house next door was for sale for 949,000 EUR, the rent for one week in september was only 700 EUR. Needless to say we got more than we had ever dreamed of. We have been travelling to the small peninsula at regular intervals since 2008 - in the first few years through TUI, and we have always enjoyed it very much. The houses with integrated underground parking on a closed site are perfectly designed. The Cap d’ Agde location is ideal for excursions in the surrounding area, here you will find culture and history, many leisure activities for children, wonderfully wide sandy beaches and the weather in summer with 9-12 hours of sunshine is simply perfect.
We are hereby rating the holiday home with number 51, we cannot judge the condition of the other property rented by Lagrange. The kitchen appliances are fine, and have been partially replaced. We can happily do without German television, especially since free WiFi is available and there are other options if necessary. The service from Lagrange is OK, the linen is changed every week and the cleanliness when you take over the holiday home cannot be faulted. The whirlpool in the garden is new and is checked and cleaned daily by the friendly manager. However, we now have problems with the condition of the house. Nothing has been changed or modernized here for 15 years and the condition is accordingly. Signs of wear and tear are obvious and for the price that is charged, especially in the season, one can expect the defects to be professionally remedied. The bathrooms could already be modernized. We found the signs of rising damp in the living room and especially in the kitchen area and the resulting mold under the sink particularly disturbing, which spreads the typical musty smell in the basement. If the defects were remedied, we would be happy to spend our vacation there again.
