Detailed Reviews
We stayed in one of their privilege suites which are spacious and comfortable, a very big bathroom with a separate shower is also very convenient. Also the personnel is in general very personable, friendly and customer service orientated. Breakfast buffet and choice could be more elaborated ( no smoked salmon e.g., choice of egg dishes very limited as well as cheers and charcuterie), but overall still ok. Quality in general good. we also at there several times for dinner, which we found good and good value for money considering that eating at the hotel is always a bit more expensive. Overall prices for the room on the expensive side which surprised us a bit considering the very low season. Prepare to dish out really some money in the high season. Beds are for our feeling too hard.

My wife and I came for the first time two months ago and here we are two months later spending an extra weekend there! A more than warm welcome, pleasant staff, attentive and responsive to all types of requests. The local white wine is excellent for its price quality, I highly recommend it. The housekeeping staff are unrivaled in their kindness and attention, not hesitating to give of themselves to satisfy the customer! Really top notch, even the impeccably clean spa/gym area. In addition, the hotel is well located 5/10 minutes from all shops and the Luna Parck. I recommend it in person and expect us to come back to your establishment.

This is the second time we have visited this hotel and always with as much pleasure.
Professional welcome, but above all pleasant.
Spotless and clean room (superior double room with balcony).
The room equipment is faultless.
The hotel is not in a particularly attractive environment, but is quiet. It is within walking distance of the center and tourist attractions.
The breakfast is complete and varied.
There is free parking, but few spaces available. If you're lucky, perfect; otherwise free public parking spaces or failing that the hotel's indoor and monitored parking lot, but paying

Planned stay of 2 nights. We arrived at the Pension around 00:15. The night watchman was very friendly and funny. However, when we arrived in our room, we found that it was not ready: cushions and duvet on the floor, no sheets and undischarged waste. Fortunately, the night watchman quickly found a new room which, this time, was in order.
Our Check-out was scheduled for Friday at 12:00. We had a slight delay of 2-3 minutes. At 12:04, our room phone rang, but no one answered when I picked up. So we went down to the reception with our things. The manager was present at the reception and told us we were late. Despite our apologies, she remained silent.
We have stayed at this Pension 3-4 times in the last 2 years. On each visit, after returning the room, we were able to come back at the end of the day to shower after the beach, which allowed us to take the road back comfortably. This time, the manager was adamant that it was no longer possible. She explained that the SPA showers are not intended for this purpose and that the Pension was complete, making it impossible to use a room. However, by consulting Booking, we saw that there were 10 rooms available for the same evening.
It is unfortunate that a 4-star Beachfront Pension no longer offers this type of service, while many other establishments do.

This hotel is poorly maintained and not very clean—stained carpeting in the hallways and glitter speinkles on rug in bedroom. The small bar is sad and overlit, and young woman running breakfast was rude and bored by her job. Also out of fresh oranges to juice at breakfast. We’d never stay here again.

Dogs accepted in the room but not in the restaurant. Reason given by the manager: risks with children!! RIDICULOUS !! They must be left alone in the room during the meal unless there is a tray in the room = hello risk of damage!! As a bonus, it’s not easy to find a restaurant open mid-week in November in Cap d’Agde. For information, the Mercure restaurant in La Rochelle accepts dogs in its restaurant. As a bonus, 2 burnt out light bulbs and a tired carpet. This hotel has strengths and we were upgraded by the receptionist, but our stay was ruined by this attitude which is anything but "dog friendly". Attention dog owners!!

very nice establishment, impeccable sleeping, perfect breakfast... great location and extremely professional staff. Positioned outside the city, it is not noisy. Attention, if you have a vehicle, limited number of spaces (but possibility to park on the street)

Establishment located just at the entrance to Cap d'Agde which is almost new and which has private parking for €10 or public parking nearby which is free.
The rooms are of very good quality, very clean and contemporary. As for breakfast, it's minimalist but it's suitable. As for the evening meal, there is a simple and quick menu

Great beaches and marina. The hotel is in a quiet location. Dinner last night by Chef Simon was superb. The room is excellent. Breakfast on the other hand leads a lot to be desired. No fresh sausage, greasy bacon, over cooked scrambled eggs and a poor charcuterie....

Cap d'Agde was just one stop on my cycling trip. So I only spent one afternoon and one night there. And I had the pleasure of finding a place in the garage for my bike.
Really attentive and very professional welcome, despite visible technical problems. Magnificent room. Top bedding (as always).
Presence of a spa to relax... and a piano at reception if your fingers itch (which is my case). Small interior courtyard for the bar. Hearty and varied breakfast. Finally, the hotel is really a stone's throw from the port where all the action is concentrated.
But more than the hotel, it is really the welcome, the kindness and the attentive service of the director and her assistant that I remember. A very nice address.

Dear Samira,
The Hotel Mercure Golf Cap d’Agde is situed in the textile area . you can’t be naked in this part of the city.
If you want we could propose you a booking in one establishment in the naturist village. In which period do you want to come in Cap d’Agde ?
Awaiting the pleasure to welcome you, we stay at your disposal for more informations.
Best regards.
Yes I think so. BUT the rooms have a small balcony so this means that you have a small outside area where you can smoke!!!
non pas 2 chambres.
Caro signore,
Il villaggio naturista è a 5 minuti in auto.
Sappiate che noi rimaniamo a disposizione continuamente.
Ci piacerebbe avere nel nostro stabilimento.
Cordiali saluti.
Genevieve Marais, General Manager.
