Very clean and modern inside with comfy bed. the staff were really helpful and friendly (considering we are English). Located in a built up area with apartments on both sides of road in a bit of a scruffy area. Difficult to park here but nice apartment. The hotel entrance is awful though with smelly Bins standing full of rubbish which wasn"t nice at all. Needs to look better. Very well located for the port and beach.

A very small room once the sofa bed is up but good for testing you athletic abilities of moving from the patio to the toilet. The room also smelt of stale cigarette smoke, no one likes that cancerous smell. The receptionist was friendly but proceeded to take a call when we arrived for a good 15 minutes leaving us twiddling our thumbs. Breakfast was not brilliant, cornflakes but no cold milk. I toyed with putting orange juice on them but thought that a culinary move too far. The pool reminded me to buy some postage stamps for a postcard. I have staid in worse but would not go back.

Just few steps from the beach , with private access to the beach . There a nice spacious parking place in the same location . All the apartments are with balcony either a street view or beach view . The only disadvantage is the unavailability of the reception staff for 24 hr .

We spent a week in the peak season in August renting a T1 cabin.
The apartment was well structured and clean. the structure is very conveniently located for beaches and harbour.
For 4 people it is a bit small, but unfortunately it was the only available one. The balcony is small with a tiny table.
The personnel was kind and tried to be helpful.
Wifi worked well, but one needs to re log in all the time. There were however issues to log in with Apple devices and VPN cannot be used.
Television only French channels.
The air conditioning in this type of apartment is only in the living room, thus the cabin got stuffy. The double bed was clearly old, which meant it was too soft and bended under the weight of two people which made sleeping not much comfortable. We got an apartment on the parking side and on the ground floor and one morning we clearly found traces of someone that had tried to climb into the balcony which was very unpleasant, thus I would recommend to try to avoid these apartments.
The apartment on the swimming pool side seemed much better, thus if available worth to spend the extra money.
The parking lot is public and extremely busy in peak season, so do not rely on finding a place there! When we arrived we had to park very far away. We did not try the swimming pool which looks clean but in the busy season was always too busy with the only 5 sun chairs always taken.

First time here in Agde and I was plesantly suprised. Nice beaches and views, good restaurants etc.
Thalacap on the Beach was a good chioce for us, a Family of four. Room is a little bit small but has everything you need: a little kitchenette with Owen, stowe, washer etc. Our room was with a pool view and direct access to the pool and Beach. Room was nicle updated comparing to many other French hotels.
Probably wouldn't stay here for a week but definitely would come back for 1-3 nights.

Modern apartment (T1, their smallest option) with 2 rooms, a toilet and a bathroom/shower. Very modern and fresh apartment, fair equipped, a few steps to the 10 metre pool, and the sea just behind the pool. At the edge of the city, although just a few minutes to walk to restaurants in the harbour and to a market area. A small shop just across the street.
We would probably come back to Thalacap next time, although there were things we did not appreciate:
- The bedroom was very small, had no window and had no mechinal ventilation nor AC (the AC was in the living room). The air became poor quickly.
- Although there were ventilation holes in the toilet and bathroom, there was no mechanical ventilation in place. The air became poor quickly.
- The entrance was next to the garbage room with a terrible smell.
- Although this is a **** hotel, the reception was only staffed a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternnoon
- You need to use your room card to get not only in, but also out from the pool area, which showed to be very inconvenient. Our kids took one card each when they went to our appartment, one after the other, but then we parents couldn't get out of the pool area...
- It would have been nice with toilet paper included in the fee..., a bit surprising for a **** hotel
- The stairs and the common areas were not very clean, also a bit surprising for a **** hotel
- Their garage was terribly narrow and difficult to park in. Assume that your partner jumped off the car and open the garage with the remote control before you drive down the car in the garage, you could end up locked in the garage if your partner kept the remote control. This is because the emergency exit is locked (!) and the garage cannot be opened from inside without a remote control. Unacceptable, and something we did complain about.
We would probably come back to Thalacap next time, although there were things we did not appreciate:

We have different types of apartment (for instance bedroom with window or not). If you have a preference in the type of apartment, do not hesitate to contact us and we will book the best apartment for you in order to make your stay very enjoyable. Reception is not open 24Hrs as it is a Residence and not a hotel: from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7.30 or 8pm. We are sorry about the inconvenience you experienced in the swimming pool area but it is mandatory to have a security access (for children safety) in the swimming-pool. We give our customers 2 keys to avoid disagreement as much as possible. We are aware about the difficulty for big cars to park in our private parking especially when it is fully booked. We hope the free parking in front of the Residence can help our customers when there is this kind of difficulty or no more place in the private parking. The emergency door in the private parking has been repaired since and we are sorry if you experienced a disagreement regarding this point. We advise our customers to always have the remote control with them as it is necessary to have it to open and close the garage. Best Regards.

Rooms were nice and updated. Pool area clean.
We were missing toilet paper and towels for everyone, they said they would come and give us the extras but never came. Also too bad there were no dish soap or brushes - if there were utilities we sure would've been able to clean everything. I hope it's not expected that you buy it yourself.

Thalacap has nice pictures on the internet and promote their appartement residence as 4 stars but its kind of dreadful and 2 stars worth. Swimmingpool dirty, hall and stairways dirty and worn out. Studio has to be painted (just as the rest of the complex). Poor beds and no 24 hour service. They gave us part of the money back but still to much money for poor service.
