Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for our first part of the honeymoon. Spacious room with a large balcony overlooking the countryside.
Loved the music that we could hear from the hotel next door which included top house beats.
The hotel has an amazing gym with a coach on site to help with your fitness goals. Each morning he would walk around and say hello to everyone working out which was a nice touch.
The complex is more of a self contained apartment set up with no house keeping provided. Residents can wash their laundry for 10 Euro or wash in the room and use the provided washing line to dry clothing.
The pool is nice with a steam room and sauna provided in the afternoons.

It is well known that hotels in Cap d'Agde are very expensive compared to what they offer, but there are also minimum standards to be met according to the stars one has and Natureva really has a lot to improve on: first of all, the reception is not open 24 hours a day and you can only check in from early afternoon. Secondly, wifi is only free 10 minutes a day and then you have to subscribe (even lower category hotels now offer free wifi access). They also say that there is parking available but it is the public one in front of the hotel and if you can't find space they offer you parking inside the hotel, which costs 15 euros per day. Finally, the cleanliness of the room is questionable, for 70 euro I would have expected much better and instead the floor was dirty.

Pleasant enough stay here. Staff were friendly enough. Room was above average but poorly thought out.
Little things like no kettle, coffee machine didn’t really work, tv had no reception, cutlery ‘drawer’ was a tray stuffed in a cupboard, mix of plates, cups and glasses and the patio door didn’t lock.
Pool, steam room and sauna was nice enough. No access to jacuzzi however, without additional purchase of spa treatment.
You should, we were told, have access to Oz Inn rooftop bar and pool as they are linked. Sadly we weren’t allowed in when we asked there.
Location is great as it’s at the top end of the resort, so quiet.
Short 30 min walk into actual Cap town (not the resort) and Marina, where we attended one of the bike week gatherings.
Overall not bad but not great. Like a lot of the resort they seem to have set it up, opened then just take the cash with little effort on upkeep.

Unfortunately, I have to give this hotel a bad review. We had originally booked 10 days, but had to cancel our stay after 3 days. There are many reasons for this, which I will explain below:
1) We had asked twice in writing and once verbally for a renovated room with a view of the countryside to the rear. This was well before we started our trip. We got a room with the charm of a youth hostel. It faced directly onto the entrance area of the nudist complex. Anyone who has ever visited Cap d'Agde knows how much traffic there is until late in the morning. Sleeping is out of the question.
2) The WiFi, which is important to us, didn't work when we checked in. We were told it would work again in an hour. On the day of departure, after almost 72 hours, there was still no WiFi. It seems as if the WiFi is only available in the hotel brochure.
3) The indoor swimming pool, which is why we chose this hotel, was only open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. This was written on the window at the entrance. As soon as the pool was open, several men were sitting by the pool and right in the entrance area masturbating.
The building is clearly in need of renovation, this is best seen in the stairwell, which exudes the charm of a bunker. The hotel corridors were almost chic with their hospital look. Incidentally, we did not receive an invoice when we checked out, although we insisted.
After several emails, we received a partial amount for our paid vacation, but it was nowhere near the correct amount. We have now hired a lawyer to sue for the missing amounts. From our side, a clear warning against this hotel. There are certainly better options in the nudist area at a price that is lower than this hotel.

We started using the Natureva years ago when it was challenging to find decent accommodation at Cap. We’ll never go back. The room we were given had a balcony with no shade. The AC worked just about ok but was only in the living room and not in the bedroom which was stifling. We asked for a different room, but the receptionist was rude and unhelpful (she really needs to get out of hospitality). We rented a garage as we knew that the parking was difficult. Our car was too long for the space and the garages are really difficult to enter. On the day we left we received a very aggressive text saying that if we didn’t vacate by 11 we would be charged an extra half day. When we checked out we had to wait while they sent some to check that the room was clean. Friends of ours stayed in a much nicer place in Port Nature closer to everything and significantly cheaper. The Natureva Spa has had its day. There are far better places available for less.

A disappointing experience in fact the negative points are more numerous than the positive ones.
The positive points: Accommodation conforms to the description, clean, efficient and silent air conditioning, good quality bedding and everything necessary for the kitchen is there.
The negative points :
Welcome not very ymoa cold staff bordering on unpleasant.
We booked breakfast, no pastries, no toast, only a piece of baguette.
The hotel swimming pool is too small and not very clean.
No baggage storage service if you arrive early or plan to leave Cape Town late.
If you have an SUV, don't bother renting a parking space. The spaces are too small to park.
A disappointing experience but given the choices at the Cape it is the least worst solution.

The arrival at the hotel - oops! apartment complex - was good. We got a full explanation of what was available where. I booked a four star “résidence hôtelière” and didn’t know what to expect. We got a 2 pièce apartment of +/- 25 m2. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen is in need of renewal. The sofa bed in the living room, which we fortunately did not need, has had its best time. The mattress on the rundown slatted base was completely worn. This was replaced at first request (even on a Sunday - kudoos for the staff). The whole building needs a thorough renovation. Here - as in the rest of the village naturiste - takes advantage of the scarcity of accommodation. The indoor pool is nice. The sauna did not get warmer than 45 degrees. The steam cabin didn't work. If you decide to book here, ask for an apartment at the back of the building. You then have a view of nature and are spared the noise pollution of entering and leaving cars and motorcycles.
You are 5 minutes on foot from bakery / butcher / supermarket and from the hedonistic nightlife that this unique place has to offer. All in all a nice stay but there is work to be done.

The stay is expensive, but the apartment perfect. The staff listens. Naturinage or Liberturism atmosphere, it depends. We rub shoulders with traditional naturists and libertines, for the pleasure of the eyes. Some antics are noisy and will disturb your peace. Be careful not to take an apartment that overlooks the Jardins de Babylone swimming pool. From what I heard all night, I think a woman can get pregnant just by bathing in it.
Otherwise, the apartment is large and clean. The air conditioning works wonderfully.
The only downside, however: the residence is a little far from the village's shopping centers, restaurants and clubs.

Before we left for Agde (first time), I looked around rather a lot for useful info. Didn't find much. The reviews here seem to be a little subjective and narrow in scope. Maybe I can add in some helpful details:
o This hotel (and all others inside the NV) is massively expensive for what it is. €250 per night for a studio of this quality is ridiculous, of course. But you are only coming here for one reason, and this is one of only 2 or 3 hotels that will accept a stay of less than 7 days, so you don't have any choice if you can't stay that long. And even if you can, any other accommodations are all apartments which require complete self-catering, and more elaborate booking arrangements.
o Staff here were courteous and helpful within the ability of what the property offers. They even arranged a taxi for us from the door of the hotel (unusually for the NV) to the train station on the last day in the early morning.
o This hotel is also associated somehow with Oz"inn (across the parking lot), which purports to be more like a proper hotel, but was over €300 when we checked, so out of the question. The only other hotel in the NV is the Eve, but it's much farther away from Heliopolis and the beach, at the opposite end.
o This isn't a hotel per se. It's more like a mid-low end apartment building, with reception. Don't expect more than that. Decor is very basic and all rooms come equipped with serviced apartment type cooking utensils. It has almost everything you would need for a few day stay. You have to do all your own cleanup. No maid service.
o Not clear on booking, but you also have to clean up the room when you check out. They give you a very specific sheet which says so and charge you €50 if you do not.
o When we checked in, the room was basically clean, but the tile floors were gritty, and you could not walk around in bare feet. They don't provide slippers so you need to bring your own. There is working a/c in the living room, but not in the bedroom, strangely. It was just acceptable at the end of August, but if you were staying say mid July it may be an issue.
o Two miniscule, thin towels per room provided per seven day stay. You can buy beach towels, etc., in the village for €15, but better to plan ahead and bring some extra of your own.
o Apart from the 3 hotels mentioned above, the only other "hotel" accommodation available in the NV is either Babylone or Eden. Babylone is actually next door to Natureva, and Eden is over next to the beach and Glamour, and right in the centre of Heliopolis. Both Babylone and Eden boast very active poolside reputations, very much deserved. You can see some of the Babylone pool from the second and third floor rooms at the Natureva (we could) and the intensity of the activity is as advertised.
o It would pay to study the google satellite pictures of the whole NV area in detail before you come, so you know where things are and you can orient yourself. Especially if like us you only are staying a few days, you don't want to waste time. It isn't immediately obvious where's what if you don't.
o The nearest commercial center is Port Ambonne (the smaller circular building on the map), which is about a 5-10 minute walk across the main carpark. Anything commercial you may want is in there including a local supermarket, wineshops, bakery, etc. Lots of sexy clothing shops and bars/restaurants too. There is also a butcher/traiteur that makes excellent prepared food you can take away and reheat in your little kitchen.
o Heliopolis, which is the big main circular building on the map, is slightly farther away and at right angles to Ambonne. It has a proper Spar grocery store, many more shops, and another butcher/Traiteur called Raphael that makes excellent food for takeaway; the best meals we had in Agde, actually. And great rotisserie chickens.
o The beach is exactly what it purports to be, as is the "couples area" at the end. Exactly. We spent one nice day on the rented sunchairs adjacent to it at the private beach club there, called SunBeach, and the next day spent in the mosh pit itself. Unreal.
o The foam party at Glamour is an unmissable experience. Go.
o Last comment - the "night life" is a bunch of clubs which for whatever reason all don't open till 11 pm. I can't quite figure out why this is. This isn't a big city, people don't have to commute; everyone is right there, and they are all done having dinner about 9. Then they just walk around in "clubwear" for the next 2 hours till the places open. Or, what we did which is sit at a cafe table and watch them all parade past. Extremely entertaining. But I still can't figure out why any club just doesn't open about 9 and let everyone in. It's not like they aren't already gagging for it.
In all, the Cap is everything its cracked up to be. And less, and more. Unless you can stay at least seven days, and are willing to put up with the palaver of apartment booking and payment through a French real estate agency months in advance (or, god forbid, camping) you really have very few options. Babylone & Eden are booked solid years in advance, so it only leaves this Natureva, Eve or Oz"inn.
We will return, and would stay again if still unable to get bookings at Eden. What the NV really needs is 2 or 3 more, proper hotels. There isn't enough accommodation by far.
Feel free to pm me if you want more info. Posting guidelines prohibit a lot of what I would have written.

I stayed with my partner 11th-18th August and we had a great time. The apartment itself was larger and better than I had expected from reading other reviews. Overall it was very clean and well appointed. We had a balcony overlooking the car park and entrabce ot Natureva - we weren't overlooked and actually it was quite quiet most days and nights. Natureva is quite well located for a quieter time in the nudist city and we didn't mind the walk to the shops, beach, restaurants or clubs. My partner lost his phone outside Natureva and it was handed in and the staff contacted him - he was very well looked after.

The venue is clothing optional. There is no restaurant. There is a breakfast service available.
YES Ruth, you have to pay. I don't recall the fee, but it was minimal. Something like 9 EUR for two days.
The apartments have private bathrooms and shower facilities.
