This is a relatively new hotel positioned right next to the CDGVAL people mover to take you to the airport. It is about a 250 yard walk to the hotel.

The hotel has been operating for about 6 months I believe so much of the building is still very new. The room was in excellent condition and the kitchen spotless (with these kinds of aparthotels that is often the weak point). The shower provided good strong pressure and the bed was comfortable. Being close to the airport good proving is necessary and this was indeed the case.

Reception was pleasant and well informed. The one area that needs attention is the restaurant which is shared with the Courtyard property which occupies the other wing of this building. The restaurant has very bad acoustics so when people talk the noise resonates around the room and becomes very loud. Some matting on the floor or some curtains would probably help dampen the level of noise.

The food was fine, service a little stressed but I put this down to a large volume of customers.

If my usual hotel in Roissy is not available or I had a very short night then I definitely would come back.

Our last night in Europe after a month long stay was comfortable and relaxed at this excellent hotel. The room for two with king bed was spacious; clean, no carpet (I try to get rooms without carpet); large walk-in shower; the kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, stove top, coffee/tea and plates, pots, etc. The breakfast / dinner area is a very large space, well laid out and with floor to ceiling windows; excellent breakfast choices included, quiche, breads, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, muesli, granola, yoghurt; had dinner in the same area, for dinner I had french onion soup (very good) and a beer, the dinner menu had a good variety. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We arrived via train to terminal 2 at CDG and found the hotel almost easy to get to. Signage is poor to get you to the CDGVal, but there were staff around to help. Once you arrive at the CDGVal stop “Parking PR” it is only a few minutes walk to the hotel.

My recent stay at Residence Inn Paris CDG Airport proved to be a convenient and comfortable choice for accommodation near Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Location: Finding the hotel from the airport was incredibly easy. Upon arrival at CDG Airport, simply followed the signs to the CDGVAL train and boarded it to Parking R station. From there, it was a 200-meter walk to reach the Residence Inn.

Accommodation: We opted for the Residence Inn, which included breakfast as part of the package. Additionally, we booked a room in the Courtyard connecting to the Residence Inn. It's worth noting that while the Residence Inn breakfast was included, the Courtyard breakfast came at an additional cost of 25 euros per person. However, upon experiencing the breakfast offerings, we found it to be rather simple, consisting of coffee, bakery items, eggs, bacon, and cereals. Considering the quality and variety, it did not seem worth the 25 euros. Instead, we discovered a grocery store, Marks and Spencer, near Terminal 3, where we could purchase much nicer bread, desserts, and other food items at a better value.

Room and Facilities: The room at Residence Inn Paris CDG Airport was clean, and the facilities seemed relatively new. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long journey. The room has full kitchen.

From being a superb stay to being a really bad experience on check out day. I was really happy with the location of the hotel and the room which was an upgrade. The breakfast was mediocre and the communication with the receptionists / staff is not top notch, For example when you are missing something and demand it, such as garbage bags or towels, they do not understand it and do not come with it. On the last day before we had to check out, my partner was overpowered by an employee. For breakfast where the most basic things like glasses and juice were missing, and after giving them 5-10 minutes to come up with it, we had to go to the kitchen staff ourselves. It resulted in a very angry woman scolding my partner. She even did it in front of the other guests in the room, it felt very shameful. She spoke condescendingly and seemed knowledgeable. Of course we would not find ourselves in that and when we confronted the kitchen manager with it, he had already heard it through the employee in question and started by defending her behavior - giant red flag in my book, instead of letting the guest tell his experience of the situation, he had already drawn a conclusion from the employee. We put almost 1747 EUR for the stay. Preserved we were compensated 50 EUR for the attitude of the employee but we still left with a huge disappointment over such an experience. No guest deserves to be overfed and not at all in front of other guests just to demand something one has been waiting for a long time. Maybe the angry woman should apply for another position if she has had a bad day and lets it go beyond others!

Dear CelestynaSw, Thank you very much for staying with us and taking the time to review your experience. We do our best to satisfy all our customers and I am terribly disappointed your last day weighted so heavily in your overall satisfaction. However, I feel a few clarifications must be brought to your comments. The hotel kitchen is classified as a private area, and as much as understand how frustrating missing basics can be, there is a reason why the aforementionned area is signed as forbidden to guests. Your safety and security are paramount, and my colleague simply forbade you to access a place where no untrained staff is allowed. Delivery might not have been to your taste and I apologise if it came accross as shameful. But I am sure you will understand the necessity of barring somebody who has neither the propper wear nor the training required by law. When you spoke to our restaurant manager shortly before depature, he explained the reasons of the employee's reaction and offered the discount. All of us are trained to provide compensation and my colleague was under the impression you were satisfied with the outcome of the conversation after you shook hands. It is obvioulsy not the case and I wish you had voiced you disagreement then and there so that we could have offered something else more in line with the impact the events had on an otherwise a superb stay. Sincerely,

The front desk staff are friendly enough and try to be helpful, but they are up against a lot wrong with the hotel in general. The front desk is not staffed 24/7--surprising for a hotel with this many rooms. The location is just a short walk and free train ride (every 5 minutes) to the airport, but don't expect the hotel to tell you that. Instead, they are pushing a shuttle service that runs once per hour and cost EU8 per person. They do not tell you that the shuttle runs from the nearby Marriott Courtyard, not from this hotel. The room is a good size, and clean, but it is spartan. For example there's minimal surfaces for your bag or clothing, no pad of paper to write on, and no robe or washcloth in the bathroom, nor any place to hang a hand towel near the sink.

Be careful: the shower floor is extremely slippery when wet, nor do they offer any shower mats. In addition, you cannot control the temperature in your room. Electricity in the entire hotel was intermittent. There were too few servers in the dining room, so service was poor (not the servers' fault!).

We do not recommend this hotel.

Dear Gskenney, Thank you so much for staying with us and taking the time to review your experience in such minute details. We truly appreciate your feedback and are disappointed to read you did not get to enjoy yourselves. Our reception is manned 24/7. As you so rightly mentioned, we have a lot of rooms and sometimes our duties lead us away from the desk when we must assist a fellow customer. There is always someone around to ask for assistance, but we apologise for not attending you whenever you needed help. Under the "Getting Here" section on our official website, you can find a PDF that lists ways to reach us. This document is sent automatically shortly before your arrival to allow you easy access to our property. I am surprised this is not mentioned in your comment. We know some of our guests travel for extensive periods, which means they have a lot of bags. In this case, we do advertise an external shuttle service which offers transfer at set times for 8€ per person. A bargain! As a long stay brand, our hotel rooms are equipped with fully fitted kitchens and large wardrobes. This product is aimed at travellers coming with their own things, so the rooms are designed to leave space for large suitcases, a lot of cloths and your own toiletries. We suggest you use the Courtyard located in the same building for a more "traditional" feel. Shower mats are available to borrow at reception. We would have been delighted to bring you one had we known you needed it. Lastly, and due to the extreme heat, the hotel on the other side of the road experienced a 6 hours electricity outage. This was sorted by the City Electrical Departement. To restablish the electricity, they had to shut off the grid, twice, for two minutes. I would hardly qualify the outage as intermitent. Annoying yet short is a more apt description. Thanks again for the thorough review. We apologise once again for not meeting your expectations and hope you will find an accommodation more in line with your tastes for your next visit in the area.Sincerely,Nicolas DubasDirector of Operation

The hotel is brand new. Everything was in good condition. The room was large. The main positives of this hotel are (1) price (2) brand new condition and (3) location - it is a 4 minute walk to CDG Val train station, with easy, frequent, and quick access to all terminals. Good place to stay if you are looking for something nice but reasonably priced at CDG airport. There is a restaurant which was decent and open until 10:00pm.

Hotel appears new and beautiful, but the staff are unfriendly and not truthful. They claim they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. They don’t seem to run it. They come to the room and tell you even though temperature is rising, it means it’s working. They have fans running at check in desk, that’s a great indicator there is no A/C. Fridge does not cool food either. It’s warm. The only good thing is the breakfast, and the free washer and dryer. You just need to bring your own soap or buy there. I can’t sleep hot, so the polyester sheets and A/C that doesn’t work will make me find somewhere else if ever back to France.

I initially stayed in a Studio Suite prior to my trip to Strasbourg, When I came back after the Christmas holidays, I was upgraded to a 1 Bedroom Suite because of my Marriot Bonvoy Gold benefit. I can say that both suites were very comfortable and definitely more spacious than any typical hotel room in Paris. The main difference between the Studio and the 1 Bedroom aside from size, is the bathtub in the 1 bedroom. I really enjoyed the upgrade since I was staying in the hotel for 1 week.

Please note that the hotel is about 1 hour to the Paris City Centre if you take the train. So if you don't mind the commute time and not planning to stay out late in Paris, this airport hotel is definitely a very good option. Very new and modern hotel with comfortable bed and complete amenities in the suite with a kitchenette. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a variety of choices. Free use of laundry machines, which is very convenient when traveling.

Excellent service from the ladies and gentleman in Reception especially Naomi, Elsa, and Martine, who were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended if you have a flight/train to catch at CDG or if you just want a big and modern hotel room outside the city.

Getting here: The hotel website says there is no shuttle /navette from the airport to this hotel. That can be a reason not to book; but there is a Courtyard Marriot 10 metres away that does have a navette/ shuttle.

Better though is to arrive at Charles de Gaulle Paris airport and take the CDG Val monorail train that connects the different terminals. You get off at Parking R (Pr) and you walk about 100 metres to the hotel. When you get off your flight do not go to the the Hotels by Navettes /Hotels by Shuttles at Terminal 2. 5th level. A very chaotic scene. There are as it turns out two Marriot Courtyard hotels at this airport with two identical shuttles. You have a 50% chance of taking the wrong one. You want the rue/street du Voyageur location.

The room if you take the bigger one has a kitchen. But there is no grocery store anywhere near. The closest store is at Terminal 1-3 which is also on the CDG Val monorail. It is a Marks & Spencer British chain. A dinner takeaway on the second night from this store popped in the hotel room microwave was much better than the Courtyard Marriot restaurant meal I had on the the first night.

The hotel will buy your groceries and bill them to your room which is pretty nice. I did not use that service so cannot say about value/price.

Not enough light in bathroom and especially near shower means a dark shower. Friendly staff but no answer to phone on two occasions before stay and on one occasion during stay.

So the bar and restaurant is in the adjacent Courtyard by Marriot and there is another one across the street at the Innside hotel and another at the Mercure hotel behind.

Dear A5620KCBrendt, We thank you for chosing us and reviewing your experience. Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott Paris CDG Central Airport are located in the same building and are managed by the same entities. None of them is equiped with private airport shuttle but we do work with a taxi company that can handle transfers efficiently. There are indeed two Courtyard in the Airport area. The other hotel always ensures that guest getting into their shuttle show a confirmation to ensure there is no mix up. We also send pre arrival email outlining the potential confusion so that our guests do not end up in the wrong hotel. As for your stay, it is disappointing we did not give you the desire to use our restaurant again. Feel free to reach out and detail your experience so that we can modify our menu should your feedback warrant it. We strive to deliver the best service possible and truly appreciate whatever information you are willing to share with us. We hope we will have the pleasure to hearing from you and welcoming you again soon. Sincerely, Nicolas Dubas Director of Operations

After dealing with the unpredictable chaos of CDG airport strike, my flight was cancellation at last minute. So when I needed somewhere to stay for the night I found this brand new property easily accessible by cab or uber as long as you ensure they go to the Residence Inn. The staff is courteous, property is extremely clean, modern with continental breakfast, full suite layout in the guest rooms (living area, full bathroom, dining area, desk, and kitchen) and extremely comfortable beds . My favorite amenity was the front desk flight status board which helped track flight times.
