Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location is set in a magical wooded area, with a variety of wonderful wildlife to observe. Gary and Laura go above and beyond as hosts, giving some very special touches and the communication is fluid and open.

During our perfect weekend away, we walked to the nearby villages to visit three of the most friendliest pubs and the food was glorious.

Our stay was made even more special by way of a proposal in the woods by the lake. The grounds are spectacular.

The little house in the trees has been an amazing experience and somewhere we’d recommend to anyone who needs time out, relaxation and a beautiful place to recharge your batteries.

Clean, tidy and affordable, this really is a place we plan to return to next year.

Thank you to Gary and Laura for being so kind to us and we wish you all the best for your group booking next weekend!!! Until next year…..

We usually do Farmers Markets on the weekend but had a rare weekend off and booked this the night before arrival ... in August. I thought because it had availability, there would like be something wrong with the place but I was so wrong.

The place is just lovely! Its a new campsite and so much attention and love has been put into it. The tents were clean and comfy. We had our own firepit and table that gave us ample privacy. The rolling woodlands and fairy trail were beautiful and kind of snuggled the site from its surroundings.

The place is well laid out. There is a central tent with games, TV, local information. Every morning we had warm lattes and muffins from their horsebox café. The shared kitchen lacked for nothing (and even had milk for everyone to share). Our shower/toilet was clean and private. You can tell the owners have big aspirations and will continue to evolve the site. Rutland Water bikes/church was less than a mile away and we had a pub meal locally one night.

We really lucked onto the site and can’t recommend it enough.

Perfectly located for Rutland Water park and in between some very pretty villages and towns, this glamping site situated in its own pretty woodland ticks all the boxes. The best bit is having your own personal bathroom facilities throughout your stay and little touches like the welcome pack, charging facilities, fridge space, fairy trail and fluffy hotel quality towels add those cute touches that you can see Gary and Laura work so hard to perfect. The belle tents were immaculately clean and we will definitely go back.

WOW! From the time of booking to the time we vacated the site. Gary & Laura have done a marvellous job of the site! I booked this site as always wanted to do a bit of glamping and it was my partners 50th and Gary made it feel even more special we stayed in the lodge hideaway which was luxurious and comfy. The bed was super comfy and the duvet pillows were great perfect quality! Everywhere was clean.
The wooded area was set up lovely and little treats for kids to see too and it was just amazing - can’t speak highly enough of the site or the owners - they go that extra mile and make sure you are comfy happy and looked after throughout your stay. Will defo be returning.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and for sure won’t be our last. We stayed in the movie tent which is amazing so much room for a family of 4, your own fire pit and table out side, your own private bathroom, shelve in a fridge to keep your food cool , and a horse trailer which you can get posh coffee and other treats from . we had make your own pizza night and live music , another night a fire so we could toast marshmallows and we got to meet the pixie ( after we did the fairy door walk) it’s just a fabulous place and the owners Gary and Laura couldn’t do more for you!

Brilliant retreat to get away from Hussle and bustle. Brilliant yurts to suit all with childrens fairy trails and dog friendly. Brilliant for couples looking to escape or outside family fun and adventure. Close to Rutland waters where you can find loads of activities including boat tours and rustic villages with great bars
Definitely go again soon

I stayed with my 2 children (10 and 8) for a couple of nights. It was a lovely site in the woods. Everything is carefully thought out with great attention to detail. Lots to do in the local area. The kids loved it and Gary (owner) couldn’t have done more to help. Very friendly place, would recommend without hesitation and would definitely go back.

We stayed in the Movie bell tent and had an excellent stay. We welcomed a bathroom was to assigned to each bell tent and very clean. Loved the fire pit and the fairy trail, the girls loved building a den in the woods.

Would love to return on day. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
