This hotel offers a very economical way to spend your nights in Paris. The hotel it’s an 18 minute walk to La Defense grand arche. Metro, train and many modes of transportation. There you can purchase a stack of 10 metro tickets and pretty much go anywhere in Paris. There is a

This is a budget hotel, therefore the amenities are basic, but quite adequate and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and abundant, a bargain for just over 6 euros. The only thing to keep in mind is that the nearest metro station is about a

We we're looking for affordable accommodation within proximity to the Beauvais airport shuttle and this property suited us well, along with it being very affordable for Paris. Very basic and small room, but clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant, we decided against breakfast

My family and I stayed at this hotel for five nights and overall impression was nice. Room was a bit small (but to be honest it is a budget hotel) still clean, tidy and daily maintained. Don't expect too much from breakfast but, it fulfils basic needs - good variety of sweet

It is nice and clean but very short of cupboard space, hangers not even for the hand towel. So I had to leave half of my stuff in my bag. Reception is usually very busy with not much help in English as you would expect in France.

How to reach here from the Airport (CDG Airport)?
You get to the central Gare du Nord by bus or train (RER train is 11 euros). From there, take the metro - you want line 1 to the Defense stop. I've found a post from someone else from a few years back: Just take the RER B one stop to Châtelet-Les Halles and change to the RER A direct to La Défense. An RER ticket with the suburban segment supplement to Grande Arche de la Défense costs 2.05 euros. If you just took metro line 1 from Châtelet after the RER B, the trip would cost 1.40 € (or 1.07 € if you buy a carnet). It all depends on a) how frugal you are and/or b) whether you wish to save money on taxis to splurge on some other activity. The taxi fare would indeed be about 25 € from Gare du Nord + train station surcharge + baggage in the trunk surcharge. From Defense to the hotel is about 15 minutes' walk - you need a map or Google to navigate. I must admit I took a taxi the first time from Gare du Nord as it seemed fiddly and I had a suitcase. Once you're there you'll find it quite easyt to stroll to the metro and back during your stay.

"One side overlooks the Seine river and the suburb of Neuilly. But a 4-lane highway runs along the river, with its attendant traffic."
"Ask for room with river view - this also gives lovely panoramic view across a Paris."
"Rooms not facing the Seine are quieter."
"Ask for a front facing high floor room for a view of the Eiffel Tower."
"Take room with Seine view if it is possible :)"
