Set on a picturesque beachfront, Telemaque Beach & Spa receives accolades for its prime location and consistently clean environment, with guests often mentioning the spotless rooms and well-kept common areas. While the service is celebrated for being attentive, some visitors note occasional lapses, particularly at the bar and restaurant. The rooms are described as comfortable, yet critiques surface regarding outdated amenities and air conditioning. Despite enjoying the lively atmosphere and entertainment, a few guests seek more tranquility. Additional costs for certain amenities, including towels and refreshments, are a common point of contention among visitors.

We stayed for a week in this hotel. The beach is very nice if you want to be quiet, it is easy to swim there. Arriving around 10am every morning, there was always room. There are lots of horses and camels for rides. Regarding our late arrival, we were well received, the meal was waiting for us in the room. Our room was beautiful, located right next to reception so very practical. Cleaning was done every day, however the shower gel was not automatically provided, so you had to ask at reception... The dining area is pleasant, there are 2 indoor rooms and 1 outside where we ate for lunch. The dishes are diversified except the desserts which are always the same (small cakes, ice creams and fruits). In the morning there is no real fruit juice, unless you want to pay for it: 7 dinars. The coffee machine doesn't work very well. The bar and restaurant staff are very nice. On the other hand, I don't know if it's the fact that we were a young couple but some of the leaders were too forceful with us regarding the evenings and activities: we didn't really appreciate it. On the other hand, the evenings with them are great: the disco evenings and on the stage with the bonus of fireworks for our last evening. Max was very nice to us. One of the hotel's tourist guides approached us on the first day when we wanted to be quiet, he was insistent and sold us the buggy excursion as romantic while we went to a Koh Lanta style wreck island . There is a charge for beach/pool towels so remember to bring your own if you can. We went to Houmt Souk (20 dinars round trip): very very few tourists (probably during the period (October)) so we were accosted a lot or even too much: it was not pleasant. We wanted to go to the Midoun market but it seems to me that it is only on Friday, if you know of the opportunity to go do it, I think there will be more things to see there. In summary, we loved the beach and the food, it was a great experience but there are still some areas for improvement.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. There are many positives but also negatives. First of all, the staff at reception, in the restaurant, at the swimming pool and at the beach are welcoming, helpful and always ready to help you. on the other hand at the bar, the staff is less cheerful. The food is good even if everything is too spicy for my taste but the customers like it. There is a choice in the dishes and you can be satisfied with what is presented even if there is not a very large choice. Certainly, it's not very gourmet but it's pretty decent and believe me, I'm picky. The sea view room is beautiful and comfortable but the decor is dated and could do with some updating, and more storage is needed, as well as in the bathroom. The entertainment team is great and goes out of their way to brighten up the evenings, however, the shows are not very elaborate and repetitive but I still thank them for doing the most with what they have. The pool is too small but there are fewer people in September, so no problem. The beach is cleaned every day, the sea is magnificent as for the deckchairs, they should be completely changed because they are all dilapidated, fortunately there are mattresses to minimize the sinking effect. The cleaning is brief and it's a shame: dust in the cupboard, fingerprints on the coffee table and on the windows, no trash bag, no soap. As for the corridors in the common areas, the vacuum cleaner is not used and the dishes are sometimes poorly washed and the cutlery is sometimes greasy. But after noticing this, things got better. Also, I think we must continue to make efforts in this direction, in particular cleaning the French doors as well as the handles and taps in the toilets and bedrooms. As I told you, there are negative points but fortunately the positive wins! In conclusion, we had a great stay even if everything was not perfect. We thank all the teams at this hotel who go out of their way to please us. We will come back with great pleasure!

Very good 4* hotel ideally located for visiting the island of Djerba. Several strong points concerning this hotel which exceed some 5 *: - We feel in total security, Several cameras throughout the hotel, the beach and the swimming pool are constantly monitored, - The food is very good, there is for all tastes and it's good! - Cleanliness is a must, whether in the room or the common areas, - All the staff speak French and are very attentive from reception to the waiters (the management is also present and friendly), - Lots of entertainment in day and evening with a good team of entertainers, The room (bungalow side) was very pleasant and quiet. A pure joy to have spent 15 days in this hotel. We feel that the establishment is well managed. I highly recommend it and hope to return as soon as possible. NB: I recommend the nearby restaurant with sea view Le Sindbad for refined cuisine at a fair price (remember to make an appointment as it is often full). See you soon, Telemaque team.

What can we say about Telemachus? Surely the best value for money in all of Djerba.
A hotel on a human scale with a sufficiently spacious swimming pool and direct access to the magnificent beach which is CLEANED every morning to enjoy its crystal clear waters. Obviously, in the afternoon nature takes back its rights, no offense to some.
Hisham will always be present and friendly at the swimming pool to satisfy customers unhappy with not finding deckchairs available in the afternoon. Mr. Director, you who had been so attentive during our stay, please alleviate this problem by purchasing a few additional deckchairs. Obviously, customers will always find a comfortable place on the deckchairs by the sea, often popular for the fresh air that passes through them. For a fee (excluding all-inclusive), you can also enjoy a private beach with DJ whose deckchairs are equipped with additional cushions and with its own private restaurant (excluding all-inclusive).
Sonia at reception was always available and efficient in resolving any small hassles we encountered.
We can say that if you eat everything, you will always find something to satisfy you without it being redundant. In short, varied food with fresh fish and meat every day. Be careful, however, with Tunisian specialties that are often very spicy.
A Big Up to the entire entertainment team who knew how to make us fully enjoy every moment without being pushy when we didn't feel like it. The shows almost always performed by the entertainment team after very long days will always make you laugh and the desire to please will always be transmitted.
Special mentions for Dadou, Yoyo, O Black, Cookie, Imed, Sam, Gustavo, Anita....for all these moments of sharing and good humor.
In short, a magnificent stay that cannot be forgotten.
Go there, you won't be disappointed!!
Telemachus see you soon.
Room 322, week 33.

We have just returned from a second stay at Télémaque, which went well.
All the hotel staff are very attentive; whether it's with Hamida at the reception who has to manage many requests👍Or at the bar with Houssem, who always has a word for a laugh😃Or at the restaurant with Bilel, Haddah, Rania, who go out of their way to serve you 🙂
The rooms are well maintained; the meals are varied.
To keep us busy, a very friendly team offers us activities in the hotel or on the beach, without insisting. You can count on Micky to set the mood; without forgetting Zambala,Ossama,Jo,Willy and DJ Karim🎉
PS: Don't hesitate to go and chat with Faÿcel, the camel driver on Télémaque beach. He will teach you many things about Djerba and the camels he raises.

General atmosphere:
- The hotel has a vintage charm, being one of the last to use keys for room doors instead of swipe cards.
- This may appeal to nostalgia fans, but may also be seen as a bit dated.

Bedroom :
- The bed is 1.60 m wide and is moderately comfortable, but still acceptable for a good night's sleep.
- The room offers a beautiful view of the sea and the swimming pool, which is a major asset for lovers of landscapes.

Entertainment:
- Entertainment is organized in the evening until 10:30-11:00 p.m. They are entertaining without being too intrusive, allowing you to enjoy the evening while still being able to retire to your room at a reasonable time.

Strong points :

1. Food:
- The quality of the food is excellent, with varied and tasty dishes.
- Unfortunately, the dishes are often served cold, and there are not always microwaves available to reheat them, which is a shame because it affects the dining experience despite the good quality of the dishes.

2. Staff:
- The kindness and helpfulness of the staff are remarkable. They are always ready to help and make your stay pleasant.

Weak points :

1. Beach Towels:
- A deposit is required for beach towels, and they are rented for one euro per day, which is really shameful.

2. Fresh Orange Juice:
- Fresh orange juice at breakfast is chargeable, at a supplement of seven dinars, which is limited for a hotel of this category.

3. Alcohols:
- Alcohols such as gin and whiskey are of very poor quality, having almost zero alcohol content. They look more like water colored with sugar.
- Red wine and rosé wine are okay, but added ice often tastes like chlorine, making it seem like you're drinking pool wine.

4. Reservation of deckchairs:
- It is forbidden to reserve deckchairs, which is completely logical. However, this rule is not applied consistently.
- On the first day, at 8:45 a.m., there were no more deckchairs available around the swimming pool and on the beach, despite the few people present.
- The next day, when trying to reserve a sunbed at 7:30am, your towel was removed and returned to reception. Although you agree with this rule, it is frustrating that it is not applied to all customers equally.

Conclusion :
- The hotel in Djerba offers a pleasant experience with some charming vintage aspects. However, negatives like the quality of the alcohol, surcharges for basics like orange juice, and beach towel rental policy tarnish the experience. The food is excellent, but often cold, and the friendliness of the staff is a notable highlight. Uneven enforcement of rules regarding sunbed reservations is also frustrating and should be improved to ensure a fair experience for all guests.

We returned to Télémaque from May 27 to June 10, we came there in 2019
Before arriving, I had sent an email twice to ask for a room in the hotel, I think the email was not read because no one knew about it, we found ourselves in a bungalow located near the entrance...
The room was OK, but you shouldn't look at the details too closely, we had taken a safe, we only had problems, the safe opening system has changed compared to 2019, no one knows exactly how to do it so we had 2 keys, the WIFI is supposed to work in all the rooms but no WIFI in our bungalow, just like the telephone or you cannot reach reception in the event of a problem, we reported this several times at reception, nothing has changed
The dining room was good
In the morning the breakfast is plentiful, however if you want a fresh orange juice you have to give 7 dinars
the evening meal was good lots of variety and theme evenings
the servers are very nice..
On the other hand, the lunchtime meals took place on a terrace that was too small for the number of people, all lunchtimes were an impossible mess, lack of space, lack of cutlery plates, dirty placemats not cleaned, the waiters were running in all directions, lack of organization, whereas in 2019 the restaurant room was open and things went much better
Nothing to say about the entertainment, the photographer was very nice
2 days before our departure we had asked reception to book us a taxi, well we had been forgotten, on Sunday evening, to reassure us that the taxi would be there on time, we asked the person if you were in order and no, we were leaving at 3:30 a.m. so the person still took care of the taxi
Also note, if you want a beach towel a deposit is required which is normal and then you have to pay 1 euro per day for the towel, whereas in 2019 we gave a deposit and a towel was given, we got our back deposit at end of stay
The Télémaque hotel is above all a hotel reserved for Czechs and Poles who are people without embarrassment and little disrespect for life instructions...
We came back a second time but we will not come back a third time, over a few years we realize that a change of management can change an entire behavior towards customers

- The whole impression was spoiled by the bad beach, seaweed absolutely everywhere, stench and disgust. In the morning, the digger piled everything into several piles, that was the end of the cleaning, after the tide everything was back in the sea. There is a bay with an unfinished hotel 200m from the hotel, I don't understand why it doesn't pile up there where there is not even a foot, the hotel is apparently not interested in tourists wanting to return.
- I refuse to set an alarm on vacation to run to the pool with towels, all the sunbeds have been taken since morning, no one cares, even though the information boards say it is forbidden to occupy sunbeds, there are 3 people in the pool and 50 sunbeds are occupied by towels.
- In the dining room at lunchtime, tourists in bathing suits with only blankets, all upholstered chairs soaked in water, again no one cares
- The first hotel where we paid an additional fee for use/laundry in addition to the deposit for towels. It's not about the small amount, but what's the point of All Inclusive when a laundry fee is required?
- Water available only in cups from a barrel, moreover, just as mineralized as from the tap. Bottled water can only be purchased in the hotel convenience store, so an additional fee is included in the All inclusive
- The animators and all the staff are great, healthy, smiling, interested in the guests.

Superb hotel where we have just spent several weeks. It's calm and relaxing even though there are activities all day long.
The staff takes great care of us. The director is always present and close to his customers to meet their needs
Please note that you have to pay for beach towel rental
The food is good and varied
The bedding is very comfortable - the rooms are well insulated, you don't hear anything, the nights are quiet.
It is a very relaxing, family-friendly hotel on a human scale.
Water fountains are installed everywhere to cool off.
The pool deck chairs are brand new, comfortable and practical with their integrated tablet.
The beach is very close, with beautiful sand and no stones!
(accessible with a ramp)
In the evening we could dance on the large terrace near the swimming pool
We will come back next year

Family hotel on a human scale, well maintained and managed. The staff is available, smiling and attentive.
The rooms are pleasant and the maintenance and housekeeping service is efficient and attentive.
The food is varied and often delicious, the homemade fries... a treat. In the morning, fried eggs and fresh orange juice (admittedly paying 7 dinars but succulent and very well served.... thank you Faddah!). Special mention also to Mohamed and Amine at lunchtime and in the evening, smiles and professionalism!
At the swimming pool, the deckchairs and parasols are of quality.
The beach is magnificent and the nautical service is pleasant.
We often talk here about the bar staff... yes the smile is not always there, but the service around the swimming pool is appreciable and allows you to get around this state of affairs ;)
The international entertainment team is present but not oppressive. The shows are elaborate and varied.
The management staff is very alert to possible malfunctions or sources of dissatisfaction and is always looking for improvement, well done!
The SPA is independent of the hotel and the services are really high quality, thanks to Samia for her warm welcome and her notable professionalism.
Faults ? Yes there are.... we all have them.... But at Télémaque, life is good and we feel at home... and also like a prince!
I'm sorry not to mention all the wonderful people who contributed to an exceptional stay... But they will recognize each other!
The Czechs and the Poles? Behind the language barrier, there are warm people whose discovery can be very instructive.
Come there with your eyes closed! And inch'Allah you will keep them wide open and amazed throughout your stay!
