We visited in August for a friends wedding, we chose this hotel based on location and value for money. It was easy to walk into town although a little hot at times but you can always use the free bus which is a great alternative. Great value for money with the all inclusive. Delicious food! My partner is a chef and we had no complaints! Fresh food with lots of things cooked in front of you. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. All this said we wouldn’t return as we had at least 20 mosquito bites each and this was after repellent and bring completely covered with clothing! Although I understand this is no fault of the hotel it did taint the holiday a little.

My wife and I just spent a week in Sorrento at this hotel, which incidentally was the only all inclusive in the area.

The grounds are lovely and very well kept. The food is not just pasta and pizza but quite enjoyable and they do make an effort to change the dishes on a daily basis. The pool is very clean and a good size. The staff are very friendly and willing to accommodate where possible.

So those are all the good things to comment on.

The room we stayed in was a good size but very dated with damaged wallpaper and old faded carpet. The bathroom was clean but again old and in need of renovation. The bedroom furniture was well worn, just like the lifts and hallway carpet.

The inclusive alcohol is cheap and not branded, mixed with loads of ice and flat warm soda makes for a particularly unpleasant experience.

The location is not bad and the shuttle service into Sorrento is useful as long as you book in accordance with their terms.

The hotel is in my opinion a 3 star.

We would probably stay here again and hope that we get a refurbished room.

On the approach to the hotel my heart sank. The reception area is welcoming and bright and airy but the exterior of the hotel is shabby and needs painting. When you look around the hotel there are areas that are unkempt with debris lying around ( bits of guttering lying on roofs / broken sun loungers dumped in a corner. These are quick fixes and would immediately improve the overall look. Mould on sun loungers which is not acceptable.
The carpets on corridors are worn and look scruffy.
Our room was large and comfortable but the bathroom was very tired and the shower screen glass was dull and the sealant black with mould. Not dirty , just really really needs maintenance. The patio doors were old and dripping with condensation and the furniture on the small balcony needed a really good clean.
However the shower was very powerful and piping hot and the bed was comfortable and the maids did a good job with cleaning and replacing the towels.
The food was fine and as a previous comment said we had fantastic mussels one night and the best grilled prawns I have ever had on another occasion . As a family we always found something that we enjoyed every night so I really must say we had no cause for complaint with the food.
My only issue was at breakfast as there seemed to be a “sugar overload “ of pastries and cakes and personally I would have liked a better selection of fruit ( melon / pineapple etc ) and a range of yoghurts .
The staff in the hotel were all charming and attentive , however the pool barman could do with tidying up his appearance as he looked a bit unkempt with straggly hair and shirt hanging out.
Would we go back to the hotel - No.
The hotel really needs money spent on it and if it was totally refurbished it could be fantastic as it has a lovely large pool area . New sun loungers and the outside dining area given a new canopy ( horrible looking up at dirty mould ) and upgraded seating would make it look so much better .
Location wise it is tricky to walk into Sorrento due to the lack of pavements in some areas and the increased amount of traffic. We have stayed in St Angello before but really noticed a difference in the amount of traffic ( and noise levels) . Trying to negotiate the pavements with a buggy is nothing short of treacherous.
So in summary location is not brilliant but if the hotel was given an upgrade it could be great as there is a courtesy bus and the train station is only a short walk away.

We really enjoyed this. It's a traditional Italian hotel . So yes, the road into Sorrento is busy and if you're looking to stuff the kids full of McNuggets 24 hours a day it might be best to look elsewhere. Mos of the guests were Italian which is a ringing endorsement - they know what's what. The food was fine - lots of Parma ham/prosciutto,, pasta, meat in various sauces and salad etc. I loved the swordfish. Good selection of drinks with Peroni lager and Gordon's Gin part of the AI package. We had a third floor room overlooking the pool which was nice and modern and had sun on the small balcony until around 6.30. The staff are excellent and the head waiter is a class act - old school and very attentative. I can't recall ever receiving service as good as this in an AI hotel. The meals are served al fresco and the tables are creally well spaced..I thought it was cracking value for money. To provide some context the last time I stayed in Sorrento this was at the Grand Excelsior and that 550 euros per night B&B! The local town is full of character and there are some good restaurants in walking distance if you'd like a change of scene

Just back from a lovely week at Sorrento , booked through Tui. We stayed here 5 years ago with our children and we're keen to come again just the two of us. The hotel has obviously had a difficult time through the pandemic as all hotels will have and perhaps there are a few things they could do to improve we had a wonderful break there. There is a great mix of Italians and British staying at the hotel and I've the course of the week no evening meal dishes were repeated. I like the fact they don't cater to fussy British who want chips every dinner time and chicken nuggets for the children ! The chefs offer such variety of local dishes and plenty of Italian cakes too. Breakfast has lots of selection with so many pastries to choose from along with the expected hit dishes. I had afresh roll with cheese and tomatoes most mornings. We went out most days , but when we were in at lunch times there was always pizza , chips a variety of local dishes and salads in abundance.
There is daily maid service , which was lovely . The hotel offers a courtesy bus service into Sorrento town as it is a 25 walk along a busy main road, you can extend this to 35 minutes along a quiet back road and along the coast.
The pool although lovely wasn't heated so not much use in April , but braver souls went in as well as children.
Things to improve would be offering a couple more slits throughout the day on the coach as there aren't enough departures and pick ups . Some of the towels were threadbare, particularly the pool ones , but you could also bring your own, so not a deal breaker.
Excursions I would recommend are walking 20 mins into Sorrento and getting the SITA bus along the Amalfi coast , you can take frequent stops at Positano , Amalfi and Ravello, this is only €10 return, you can also get a ferry back from Amalfi for €16 which was great.
If you want to go to Pompeii or Herculaneum turn right out of the hotel and walk 5 mins to Saint Agnello station , it is €5 return to Pompeii and €16 entry , just a bit further along on the train for Herculaneum. Don't underestimate the amount of time you will need at Pompeii, it's massive, the hotel will make you a packed lunch of you ask , there isn't a lot of places to eat there , so I would recommend this . There are plenty of water fountains though.
We also caught the train along to the cable car, this was €4 and €8 for the cable car, the views at the top are amazing, even better than Vesuvius. We had lots of lovely walks along the streets of Sorrento, there are lots of souvenir shops and the gelato is to die for . Further along the harbour has wonderful seafood restaurants , it's worth the walk. The hotel is one of the cheaper ones that Tui offer in Sorrento , but from our point of view it offers exceptional value, and just because it is all inclusive doesn't mean you have to slavishly eat every meal at the hotel, go out and explore , there is so much to do !
All I all a brilliant stay .

We have just got back from a week at this hotel and we went with an open mind having read the reviews.
Some are very harsh as it’s not that bad but I understand people have different experiences. It is old fashioned and needs a bit of tlc here and there.
Our room was lovely and clean towels and sheets changed whilst we was there towels daily sheets once. We had room 42 which was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. The balcony is small but you can still sit out. There is a fridge which has a bottle of water put in it on a daily basis.
The pool area is lovely lots of beds and sunshine on it till late There is an area on the left that is in the shade for those who prefer it.
The drinks package is good they are very relaxed about how many you get at one time as we got drinks for friends as well and it wasn’t a problem.
Location is outside of the Main town of Sorento but there is shuttle bus it only starts at 9.05am though so if you want to go earlier you either walk along a very busy road or pay between 20 and 25 euros.there is also a train station down the road if you wanted to go to Naples, or pompei
The food is ok lunchtime for me was the best but you can get something to eat so you won’t starve.
The staff work very hard. We had a thunderstorm which tripped the electric so we ate in the dark with our phone lights but the staff did an amazing job keeping us entertained.
All in all this is a nice hotel and ideally situated to tour the Amalfi coast just keep an open mind as it’s ok for what you pay.
We went as a couple and there was children there who loved the pool but no entertainment for them in the evening there was a singer on a few nights and an Italian dancing another.

The hotel is situated just outside of Sorento main town center , with a beautiful garden and within walking distance of local Bars , Restaurants
The receptionists are extremely professional and helpful , always acknowledging you with a smile

The main pool area has plenty of sun loungers situated around the pool and bar area, there is a seating area available for Lunch and Evening meals.
The hotel itself is split into two building .
The older building which overlooks the main pool, and the newly built building adjacent to the reception overlooking the gardens.
Being situated in the older building we did have lovely views but sadly the air-conditioning did not work to its full potential hence the room was always hot.😞
Informing the receptionist she was extremely helpful and moved us to the newer building where the air-conditioning is perfect.🤗

Breakfast is not a self-service and masks are required throughout the hotel , once seated the waiter was extremely charming professional and helpful.
There is a vast  variety of things to choose from .
One down fall was that one tall elderly waiter ( Luka ) I believe is his name who's attitude and approach to service made you feel extremely uncomfortable 🙄.
He was very abrupt and throughout any service you definitely felt that you're not welcome.
It was sad that a person like this let the rest of the hardworking and very friendly team of staff down.

Would we return again most definitely to Sorento😎
Would we return again  to this hotel doubtful 🤔

Hotels pool is absolutely freezing, not just cold it’s unbearable we’ve been here a week not one person has been able to use the pool ,
Reception and bar staff treat guests like disgusting animals look down on you talk to yous like crap , lobby corridors & room absolutely stink of Raw sewage,& damp the flush button doesn’t work properly on our room toilet , other guests told us there room was absolutely disgusting and had to move room

when we complained nothing was done also ALL the staff have a disgusting attitude toward guests very smarmy & condescending when we complained about the smell & lack of health n safety ( windows on first floor wide open ,for children to fall out , open rubbish bags, hoover cords across hallways) all met with a dismissive attitude.
Bar staff have a horrible manner.
Bar staff smirk & make comments quietly and when asked what did u say they say “nothing”. Lady named nonna was particularly rude.
When we asked “Andrea “ at reception for any other hotels we could go to for a warm pool for our young child we were met with “ no don’t u know any ?” And “ do u know the phone number ?” And whispering and smirking to his workmate
The food is cold & repetitive
the main toilets are disgusting and clogged and staff told us there not cleaned from 8pm till 930am we had to take our child back to the room to use the toilet.
I could go on & on but to sum up I’d say
“DO NOT STAY HERE”
The picture pretty much sums up our stay at the
“parco del hell hole”

Lovely hotel nice clean room. Food was disappointing for me didn’t look appetising, repetitive and not hot plenty of pastries probably too many. No custards, creams.to go with your desserts no ice cream either
Bar and waiting Staff need to smile! Cleaners were friendlier
Hotel is situated roughly a 20 minute walk into sorrento a shuttle bus is provided regularly from the hotel to the left and 5 mid into Sant Agnello to the right
Roads are to be wary of Traffic is manic and there is only a narrow path fir most part of the walk
Boy bar across the road served lovely food and cheap enough too

Ah dear, I so wanted this hotel to be better than what it was. I didn't have many expectations and it still didn't hit the mark.

The location is great with the train station 10 mins walk away and a 20 min unpleasant walk into sorrento Town. The hotel had a free shuttle service but we never used it. Our rooms were large enough but quite tired and falling far from the 4* all inclusive mark with no tea and coffee facilities, an empty fridge that only got filled with a bottle of water and no iron or ironing board, things honestly I would consider basics in 2022.

The pool and the grounds are fine but it's just not big enough for the amount of guests it has. The pool does have a towel service and honestly I'm no snob but they are old tatty threadbare over sized dish cloths.

The hotel itself is like something out of the twilight zone inside and we nicknamed the main eating area "Emerald city" with its garish over baring green decor. All quite funny until its not funny any more.

The food, wow the food. What a colossal let down. The main reason we go all Inc is because we have children and so we save money in the long run. That was a mistake, we ate out several times because facing the god awful food just wasn't worth thinking about. The outdoor bbq was nice in theory, an the effort was there but the food just feel so far from the mark it was almost inedible. We never ate any deserts after trying the first one, they were gross and the drinks weren't much better. The only thing we could consistently drink was the beer, everything else was cheap, syrupy and undrinkable and don't even get me started in the coffee it honestly tasted like really thick black bistro gravy. I love coffee, this was not coffee. I had to lower myself and buy nescafe from the supermarket and took it to breakfast.

I'm sure back in is heyday this place was amazing but in 2022 standing aside by side with other 4* inclusive hotels, this place is dwarfed and doesn't come close to the standard that's expected and paid for.

I've stayed at top 5* luxury all inclusive hotels and cheap pushing 2* bed and breakfasts. This place is pushing a 3* at best. It's let down by a multitude of basics and it needs to catch up before it falls too far behind its competition. My advice, save your money and go somewhere else.

When we were there someone was at the hotel on a mobility scooter so yes it is accessible. They have lifts to the restaurant. Not sure about kettles though

Yes exactly, we mentioned several things to the hotel we weren’t happy about but there was no major changes made aside from the option to change room. We have put a formal complaint to Jet2 but had no response. I would strongly urge you to change your booking for next year and chose a different hotel in the area.
