The Hotel Miravalle is one of the most popular in Sauze d'Oulx. Just about 350 meters (1100 feet) far from the piste of the Milky Way ski resort, the hotel is located in the old core of the village, the most charming area of Sauze d'Oulx. From the large windows of the dining room, but also from the terraces on the first and fourth floors, as well as from the summer back garden, you can enjoy a breath-taking view over the mountains of the Susa Valley. The hotel, at the ground floor, is equipped with a room with a sauna and a Jacuzzi tub; also, on the same floor, there is a ski deposit accessible either from the outside or from the inside of the hotel. Feel free to call us for any further information regarding your holiday.

Stayed with Crystal holidays.
A good basic hotel with great choice of food and great staff.
The communal areas had been modernised but bedrooms were a little dated but warm and good shower.
Bar prices we found expensive 8 euros for a large beer!
The 'happy hour' is only 1 euro off a drink.
No tea or coffee offered after your meal, but could be bought.
Take an extra towel if you intend to use the sauna/jacuzzi as additional towels are not provided.
The lunch ticket for the mountain could be used at Copanna Kind - pasta or soup/water and a desert(no choice).
Or Copanna Molina - panini, water or coffee, choice of desert.
Ski lockers are more ski storage and costs 30 euros per person.
Buses are hit and miss and often didn't drop us back near hotel, unless you went down the mountain and stayed on the bus to come back.
All in all a good week, but the above may help others be prepared.

I have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We booked a small head to head bedroom with 2 single beds. After reading a previous review about there being no storage in this type of room I was really worried however the room had a very small wardrobe and 2 small drawers which was ok for us.

The staff at the hotel were lovely, polite and really helpful. Tracy the crystal rep was also really nice and approachable.

The hotel is around an 8 minute walk from the slopes (clotes) which is mainly up hill from the hotel so we paid for a locker at the front of the slope which was £30 each for the week.

We was full board, the food was ok but there wasn’t always something on the menu for everyone, however the lunch vouchers which can be used in 2 restaurants on the slope were great and made the holiday a lot cheaper. Due to the hotel being full you have to share a table with other people staying at the hotel which was fine for us because the other couple that we shared with were lovely however this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Also the only place that you can access the WiFi is in the reception and the restaurant, this can’t be accessed in the bedrooms.

1 weeks ski trip booked through Crystal.
Stayed on full board basis. About 75 min transfer from Turin.
Lets start with thier biggest asset the staff, from the manager all the way down they are friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located a short 7 or 8 min walk from the village centre (its about 15 min to the clots chair lift or 20 to sportina) as a boarder this was an easy ask even though its uphill. Bit tougher for skiers who opted for the bus which unlike any otger ski resort is NOT free.
Room was basic but did all we needed, brown bedding was a bit off putting but despite seeming very firm we both slept very well.
They provide individual ski lockers in basement for all your kit.
Spa in basement is free (sauna and hot tub) bookable in 30 min slots max 4 people. Remember dont be scummy and shower before using either of them.

Breakfast was fine. Hot was mix of scrambled egg, bacon, baked beans and sausage. Cold meats and pastries as well as fruit varied each day. There was also yogurt, bread/toast fruit juices.
You get a voucher for lunch at 2 mountain resturants, both will get you refueled for the slopes. But we preferred the staff at Millano.
Dinner is served at 7.30 anti pasti, then 2 more courses and eventually dessert (they always seemed to take an age to serve dessert). Menu is fairly varied and the chef has some good personal dishes such as turkey with lemon and capers.

Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here from 19th - 26th Jan 2020. The hotel is just off the main road so there is a short walk to get to reception but nothing too strenuous even with a roller bag, daysack and skibag.
Reception and booking in was fast and easy however the rooms may not be available until 1400. Not an issue as there is room for the bags in the reception area and the small bar was open which was warm and welcoming.
The rooms were very warm and of a nice standard and the bedding/towels changed at least twice in the week.
Storage is a minor issue, with the rooms only having (at least our room anyways) one large wardrobe but not much in the way of drawers. However again, not a major issue.
The bathroom was clean and tidy with 2 small and 2 large towels with a shower matt also to stand on. Plenty of hot water both early in the morning and later on in the evening.
The food was incredible ! The chefs and staff put on a fabulous menu and it was always tasty and hot.Thank you !!
The hot tub and sauna is a nice touch as well.. always welcome after a day on the slopes.

The only minor issue we can point out is that the ski room doesn't have heated poles for the boots to dry out on. Please resolve this !! Not very pleasant putting on cold and wet boots first thing in the morning.

Second stay here. Food is excellent and staff both helpful and friendly. I love the way the young manager celebrates his staff on the last evening by bringing them out for a well deserved round of applause.

I needed medical assistance on the first day and was incredibly well cared for. On our first visit we were worried about having to catch a ski bus to the slopes, but as it happens it is an advantage. The buses go every half an hour from just up the road from the hotel, we always got on easily and the lift they take you to (the Sportinia Lift) is quieter than Clotes.

We arrived at hotel miravelle on 09.02.2020 and stayed for 1 week, full board. Very friendly staff and the food is EXCELLENT. They give you a lunch voucher for lunch on the slopes, which can be used in 2 restaurants. The lunch in Cappanna Molina at the top of the Clotes lift was so much better than Cappanna kind so I'd recommend going there if you can. You can ski down from the top of sportina Rocco nere lift on a red run to get to it too.
The receptionist, Nav, organises a brilliant trip Thursday evenings on the piste stomper up to Cappanna Molino restaurant, where you are greeted with a glass of prosecco and nibbles, followed by a 3 course meal which was out of this world! All this was just €40! Highly recommend going, it was a lovely and fun experience. The boys, including Nav and the kitchen staff, skied down afterwards with head torches!
Tracy was our Crystal Ski rep. So friendly and approachable, not like some youngsters at other resorts. She holds a welcome meeting and tells you everything you need to know!
There is a regular bus (€8.50 for a weekly pass) going from the end of the drive in the mornings, which takes you to the sportina lift, which is the lift you will need for ski school. The Clotes lift is about a 10 minutes walk uphill, but other guests said there are lockers available at the clotes lift for your ski gear. There are ski lockers at miravelle, but boot heaters weren't working. Thankfully my boots didn't get too wet during my stay.
The resort itself was quite reasonably priced in comparison to other resorts. We read in earlier reviews about happy hour in La Grotto, which is only a 10 minute walk into the centre, where you can get a pint of Birra Moretti for £2.50 between 4pm-7pm.
Ferrucio was my ski instructor at Vialleta Ski School. Fantastic at his job, managed to get me from complete beginner to parallel skiing down the reds in a week!
I personally feel like all these positives completely outweigh the fact our room was small. We booked a small room, but weren't aware just how small. We didn't spend much time in there anyway, so it was not an issue for us. I know there are larger rooms available, however we happened to book quite late. The hotel itself is cosy and charming, the staff are always smiling and welcoming. I will definitely be returning next season.
Thank you Hotel Miravelle for such a lovely first ski holiday experience!

We stayed at Hotel Miravelle between the 16th and 23rd January and although on first impressions the room was pretty small and basic, we found that it was clean, had everything we needed and that we didn’t end up spending much time in it anyways! The food was excellent with a buffet style starter, two main courses, followed my dessert and unlimited wine! Breakfast was also buffet style and there was everything you needed. We also loved the addition of afternoon tea and the lunch cards where we got our lunch on the mountain included in our stay. We found that the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They even provided us with breakfast before our journey back at 4am! The hotel had a friendly atmosphere in general and since most people were British the bar was normally lively and very sociable and we enjoyed getting to meet other people there. The views were incredible both from our room and the dining room and it is in a great location, only a short walk from the town centre and the chair lift. Overall it was a great holiday and we would love to return!

Ski week here in early Feb, not been to Sauze before but pleasantly surprised with the village, it has certainly shrugged off it's 'Benidorm of the slopes' image. Plenty of options post ski but not in your face and some really classy small places to tempt you as well as a few larger bars for dancing on tables!

Miravalle is a gem, great VFM and the staff really couldn't have done any more, Marcello and his team were so much fun and very professional. The food was great, lots of hot and cold brekkie options and the dinner was amazing, the varied starter buffet would be enough but then another 3 courses rock up!!
Only criticism and the reason only 4 stars was location and that whilst the rooms are a tad dated but very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean it could do with better storage ie shelving rather than a huge hanging wardrobe especially for snow sports.

About a 10 min walk up to Clotes lift but you can store skis there for ease, little tip for you at Clotes lift everyone not in the know (ie us) stored skis at level 2 which is a huge room where skis and boots are stored at a cost of 25 Euros but it's better and cheaper to get the ground floor individual lockers, automated and safer.

No fresh snow this week but pisteurs have done a great job managing the slopes.

To summarise: lovely hotel, awesome staff, 10 mins tops walk from main lift and town centre, fab staff, amazing food, great staff....did I mention the outstanding staff??!!

Every single staff member did everything they could to make the stay comfortable and special. It's incredible how much friendly and engaging staff can have a positive impact on your stay. The manager was very helpful and took the time to speak to everybody. The lady who cleaned our rooms and also served at dinner always had a big smile on her face and was friendly. The receptionist would wish us a good day whenever she would see us.

The food was excellent and a huge standout point. The buffet starter had a great selection, was changed every day and had something for everyone. You could quite easily fill up on starters if you didn't know there was more to come. The 2 dishes to follow were always superb. Normally the first would be a delcious pasta, cooked al dente with tons of flavour. The second was a meat although there was always a veggie option. There was great variety throughout the week we had chicken, turkey, beef, pork, veal and lamb. You wouldn't be dissapointed being served what we ate at a good restaurant. The wine was also flowing and replenished quickly without asking.

Lastly the lunch food vouchers could be used on the mountain and the 2 places you could redeem at served very good food and a healthy portion size so you wouldn't need any more.

Overall I'd rate the hotel a comfortable 10/10. Its was exceptional value for money and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Sauze.

Had an amazing Christmas break at this hotel, the check in was a bit crowded but there was a coach load of us all being checked in at the same time, but they were so quick and efficient at getting us all checked in. The rooms were small, but were very clean and did the job, some may say they are dated, but in my experience these rooms are the same as most of the offers in Italy for this star, and it does not affect the stay. The food at the hotel was outstanding 4 courses everyday, and it was all lovely, there was never a day where we went away hungry. They offer a tea and cakes which is a lovely extra when coming back off the slope, as I had a tea and my husband had a pint, was just lovely to come in and relax. The food of the mountains with the two restaurants is an even bigger bonus at this hotel, the foods was always fresh and there was an option for everyone. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble for them, we met people while at the hotel and they had no problem, moving them to sit with us. The ski room is lovely and warm with locked lockers, and the bus stop is literally down the drive from the hotel, which gets you to the Sportina lift in less than 10 minutes.

All in all I would throughly recommend this hotel, it was a lovely little gem of a hotel, and we have already booked to come back in February
