I'm a big fan of having a clean room, friendly staff at check in, quality options in a breakfast buffet, they had all three! Like many things on the Amalfi Coast not easy to drive around and find things, but I would not call this "hidden" I think the signage laws are just very di

Praiano was the last stop of our trip and we continued to be thrilled with the amazing views of the Amalfi Coast. The Hotel Holiday is situated strategically such that almost every room has a view of the coast. Some rooms have an excellent sit out you can relax in and take in the

This beautiful family-own hotel is the best hidden gem in Praiano. Angelo and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking and the level of attention incredible. If you want to experience the Amalfi Coast, this is the p

I traveled again to the Amalfi Coast this September and this time, I decided to stay in Praiano. Reviews all said it was quiet but still accessible to all available activities. My next task was to find a suitable hotel for my 2 week stay. I wanted a place that served breakfast a

I'm staying at your hotel in July and I would like to pre-book the ferry to Capri. 1. Would it be better to book the ferry Positano to Capri? 2. We will have a car but would prefer to use the bus once there. How far is the bus stop from hotel to get to Positano and how long is the journey ?
Dear Kristen, from Praiano there is private boat that goes every day to Capri but if you prefer leave from Positano and the ferry you can do it online. The bus stop to Positano is just outside our hotel and the journey is about 20 minutes. If you need more information feel free to write us again. See you on July!

I am looking at staying in your hotel in April 2017. We have an expensive car. Is there secure - safe off road parking at your hotel ?
There is secure parking right next to the hotel. They will park your car for you though as there are only a few spaces. The streets in the area are Extremely narrow so I suggest taking the bus where ever you plan on going. Parking is non existent most places. We went to Positano and Amalfi using boat and bus. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

hello ! we are stayng at your hotel in October. we are trevelling from Florence by train to Salerno station. is there any bus we can catch to your hotel that stops near so we would not have to climb by foot with the luggage. Also we are interested about rates of taxis from the station as we see it is the best way to rich your hotel. best regards!
Hi! there are local buses and the stop is literally outside the hotel. But these do not go all the way down to salerno. The "not local" bus stop is few minutes walking but you can also connect at the bust stop (some are the same) and travel to get off right in front of the hotel. We took a lot of those buses both "not local" (bigger, aircon) and local (small cute rusty). We took a taxi as well and it was 70E to get from praiano to Ravello, 130E Ravello to Naples.Just so you get an idea about the pricing. have a good trip. PS the buses are fairly cheap aroun 2.20, 2.80 depending on where you travel. These are sold at "tabacco stores" or also at the reception of the hotel.

We are staying at your hotel in October. Do we book transfers from Naples through you or do we organise this with transfer company? Thank you
We can help you with transfer service. If you like, you can email us.

We have just booked to visit here in October for 4 nights! We don't know whether to hire a car, or get a transfer - we're after the cheapest option ideally so we can put money towards meals etc. What do you recommend is best? How much are the transfers normally? Thanks in advance!
We got a transfer and are so grateful we did! It costs 100 euro each way but it is 60km from Naples so worth it. You need to pay in cash to the hotel. The drivers are excellent. We were going to hire a car but glad we didn't - we loved Praiano so much we spent all our days there and did a day trip to Capri by boat. You can easily get to Positano by bus too. The roads are pretty narrow and it gets pretty crazy so if you do drive you'll need to leave for your day trips early to avoid the mayhem. Have a great time!
