I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel in Positano this past summer and could not have been happier with the experience the Esposito family provided. I was unfamiliar with the area, and there are understandably plenty of options for lodging in the area,

The staff at this quaint hotel are the best we have ever encountered. They were very warm and welcoming. The location was great and the rooms were a good size, bright and clean. We had a terrace above the hustle and bustle of this beautiful town and of course the view!

hello how far of a walk is it (stepwise) down to the beahc? is there a bus that brings you up and down ?
Dear PapaBones, thank you for your contribution. JennaK831 the hotel is located on the Positano main road 1 km away from the main square Piazza Mulini, or 1,5 km from the beach Spiaggia Grande. You can walk down 15 minutes or catch any bus down to the square and then walk to the beach through the pedestrian area. Indeed you should walk 485 steps down to Fornillo beach (15 minutes) or walk to the Spiaggia grande(pier) and take the boat to Fornillo beachback and forth. If you like walking instead from Fornillo beach you can walk the lane via Positanesi d'America to the Positano pier, then to Piazza Mulini through the pedestrian lane via Mulini and catch the bus 15 minutes to Grotta Fornillo, close to the hotel.

How far is hotel to beach?
I would say depending on how fast you walk but if you do not stop in between and head directly to the beach, I would say maybe about 15mins.
